I didn’t even know where my phone was. Infact the photographer was just getting me in passing. No real focus cos I was in another mode. When you suddenly realise you are now a certified orphan, pictures are far from my mind jare. .
DeleteMay the mum’s soul rest in peace.
Lifeeee!!! One minute you are here, the next you are no more.
ReplyDeleteMay her soul rest in peace.
Covid-19 is still around!!
ReplyDeleteThere is no point wearing a mask, if you are going to wear it under your chin, or just over your mouth.
The virus travels through your respiratory tract...hence the need to cover BOTH the mouth and nose with a mask!!
J.J.Rawlings attended his mum's funeral and followed her 3 weeks later, after catching it at her burial. Please be cautious!
True nigerians are careless with this
DeleteMay her soul rest in peace, amen. But she just passed, how were they able to pull this off so fast including the sewing of asoebi?
ReplyDeleteIt's iro and buba, caftan for men. Not difficult at all.

ReplyDeleteHmm! Briefly came online? Na wa ooo. On my Father's burial day, i did know where my phone, i didn't taste anything. Maybe to show the other Aunty who lost her father 2years back and nobody knew when she buried him cos they say dem no get house for Benin. May God grant eternal rest
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmm, all this show off na pepper dem gang. It's very obvious π₯΄ππ
DeleteI still don’t get d ideology of lavishing money on d burial of a dead person, is it an excuse for the living to socialize because it does practically nothing for the dead
ReplyDeleteYes, it's for the living. You have to host your guests that attend from different parts of the country and sometimes abroad.
DeleteNothing wrong with that at all.
I am Igbo, though burial rites have been cut down in my State to 4 days (Thursday to Sunday) , we still prepare well to host guests, age grades, in-laws, cousins (nwadiana) who also come well-prepared to pay condolence.
We cannot throw away our traditions same way we keep our traditional marriage though a lot of unnecessary things have been cut down.
It's her mum's burial and her choice. It's not your money but their money.
DeleteLook at the pictures and move on π₯΄πππ€·πΎ♀️
Rest in Peace mama iyabo
ReplyDeleteMay her soul rest in peace
ReplyDeleteShe came online briefly to let her fans participate or for reasons best known to her.
ReplyDeletePlease, you can't tell people how to mourn.
At the moment I'm at a client's mom's burial 'party' and they rented a giant marquee with live band with a celebrity MC. Maybe their late mom loved to party in her lifetime and lived well. Some even write it in their Will or say so before their demise. π€·♀️
What if the mom told them not to mourn but celebrate her.
ReplyDeleteI would guess the mom lived a good life and with her.
So let’s her be world people
