    1. I didn’t even know where my phone was. Infact the photographer was just getting me in passing. No real focus cos I was in another mode. When you suddenly realise you are now a certified orphan, pictures are far from my mind jare. .
May the mum’s soul rest in peace.

  7. Covid-19 is still around!!

There is no point wearing a mask, if you are going to wear it under your chin, or just over your mouth.
The virus travels through your respiratory tract...hence the need to cover BOTH the mouth and nose with a mask!!

J.J.Rawlings attended his mum's funeral and followed her 3 weeks later, after catching it at her burial. Please be cautious!

  11. I still don’t get d ideology of lavishing money on d burial of a dead person, is it an excuse for the living to socialize because it does practically nothing for the dead

    1. Yes, it's for the living. You have to host your guests that attend from different parts of the country and sometimes abroad.
Nothing wrong with that at all.

I am Igbo, though burial rites have been cut down in my State to 4 days (Thursday to Sunday) , we still prepare well to host guests, age grades, in-laws, cousins (nwadiana) who also come well-prepared to pay condolence.
We cannot throw away our traditions same way we keep our traditional marriage though a lot of unnecessary things have been cut down.

    2. It's her mum's burial and her choice. It's not your money but their money.

  12. She came online briefly to let her fans participate or for reasons best known to her.

Please, you can't tell people how to mourn.
At the moment I'm at a client's mom's burial 'party' and they rented a giant marquee with live band with a celebrity MC. Maybe their late mom loved to party in her lifetime and lived well. Some even write it in their Will or say so before their demise. 🀷‍♀️

  13. What if the mom told them not to mourn but celebrate her.
I would guess the mom lived a good life and with her.
So let’s her be world people
