Kidnapper Reportedly Arrested After His Victim Identified Him At A Motorpark Months After He Was Kidnapped...

An alleged kidnapper (pictured) got more than he bargained for when he  boarded a commercial vehicle owned by one of his victims in Sokoto state.

According to Daily Trust, the victim who is a driver, was kidnapped along Kankara in Katsina state while returning from Kano about two months ago.

He reportedly spent three weeks in captivity and was released after paying an undisclosed amount of money as ransom.

A member of the National Union of Road Transport Worker (NURTW) as saying the suspect was recognised by the victim when he boarded his vehicle on his way to Kano state.

“The driver was quick to identify him because the incident happened not too long ago;after identifying him, he alerted our leaders who in turned informed the nearest police outpost.”

The leaders of the NURTW reportedly asked the driver to move towards Kwannawa motor park in Dange-Shuni local government area of the state, where the car was blocked by police who arrested and whisked the alleged kidnapper away to their station.

While being interrogated, the suspect reportedly confessed that he belongs to a gang of kidnappers.

He has since been transferred to the state police command headquarters for investigation.

*Hmmm this may be the reason some kidnappers kill their victims even after paying the ransom""

  1. This will make them more mean now by wasting their victims after ransome has been paid.😭

  2. @Stella you're right ✅
I was told that if I ever identified them they'd kill me .
That's why most times the kidnappers remain masked or they blindfold their victims until ransome is paid.

  3. Everyday for the thief and one day for the owner..

Dey for do the idiot jungle justice.

  4. Thank God he was caught, but I feel kinda scared after reading this.......may God's protection continue to be upon us AMEN.

  5. Is publishing this news part of the investigation?
Isn't it a tip off to his gang members to take off?
this man could have led them to his gang and everyone apprehended
to close the chapter of one battalion of kidnappers. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

    1. Nigerian police get sense? No!

    2. What came to mind as well!

  6. When people stop negotiating with kidnappers? It will continue to thrive. If someone is kidnapped, sic but it should be taken that the person is as good as dead, though painful. Believing that money answereth all?

  7. One by one, God will expose them all

  8. Crime never pays. He will vomit all he swallowed.
