I got this mail on Wednesday inbox....

''Hello Stella,


Yesterday made it 4 weeks after the shooting and I must
say it's been crazy. Government forces have been surreptitiously
trying to clampdown on recognised protesters, so everyone is currently
laying low and re-strategizing. We were supposed to hold a strategic
meeting with Baba Femi Kuti at the Shrine, Yesterday, but the Police
got wind of it and have blocked anyone from entering. The stress of 20th
and 21st October took quite a toll on me. I was stressed and quite
drained; physically, emotionally and mentally. I still have dreams from
that night. Sometimes I just go into this trance (for like 3 or 4
minutes, according to my friends) I totally become oblivious of my
surroundings and won't take cognisance of anything they say or do
during this period. They only just mentioned it after it happened the
fourth time.



I hope I'll snap out of it, somehow.


Apparently, I couldn't take pictures on the night of the shooting due
the running around. But I'll attach some pictures ( a bit low quality
due to the phone's camera) I took on the morning of 21st, the day
mobile policemen chased us at Lekki cause we kept on with the cause.

I'm still gutted that the FG are trying to suppress us in all manners.
Like not allowing people into the courtroom to support Eromosele who
was arrested on trumped up charges because he is a protester, but will
soon be released on a 1m Naira bail with 2 sureties in like sum. And
still using the Police to raid communities that were perceived to have
attacked Police Stations during the protests, for example; General
Paint in Ajah, Alafia in Mushin (it wasn't a cult clash like they told
you) and Mile 2, which happened yesterday. Believe the government at
your own peril, they are staunch liars. I hope I recover well before
this month ends, I need to be in the right frame of mind for whatever
that is to come.

P.S; we are yet to hear from one of our guys who was taken to one of
the Hospitals along admiralty whom the Dr said the Military took away
(along with every wounded patient from that night).
