    4. Why did they break the law?? When you travel to another country, respect their laws. You do not break the law and start crying wolf.
Hopefully they get some soft landing, others should learn from this.

    1. It's embarrassing you even say Nigeria will not do such to a foreigner. Why should Nigeria allow foreigners break laws without doing anything?

  8. It's really very sad that these young stars are going through this embarrassment and abuse of their human various rights. Didn't their management make some proper enquiries before accepting the deal? The stupid show organizers nko? Aren't they aware of the situation of things in their country before looking for innocent people to get into trouble? Please they should release them already and stop treating them like some criminals. Nigerians atago nor afufu🤦‍♀️.

  13. Wow wow, the mentality of most Nigerians is sickening! What a country? Most of you don't know the difference between right and wrong and would defend blindly because you are so used to wrong and the laws not working. This is a pity, I'm not even shading.
I feel pity for your artists and I hope they are released immediately but what is wrong is wrong. They went against the laws of a country. Knowingly or unknowingly; the law has no excuse for ignorance.

    1. They should first hold the organizers responsible. The government claims that Uganda is locked down. So, They should have put a hold on the plans since Uganda's Law prohibits large gatherings. Its unfortunate..

    2. What stupid laws? What gave Uganda the effrontery to mess with Nigerians? Dirty backward country!!!
      I blame the organizers

  14. We deserve the leaders we get, when we keep encouraging impunity. Besides them considering their own health risk shouldn't they have taken their time to know if Uganda has it's country on a covid lockdown.
It is sickening and really sad that we glorify evil, due to sentiments.

  15. Picture this scenario. Wizkid, Davido or any other Nigerian artiste barred from performing in Nigeria due to Covid. Foreign artistes like Beyonce or Adele comes to Nigeria to perform? The uproar will be huge. I do not fault the UgandaPolice for doing their jobs. Naira Marley was arrested this year for performing at a drive by concert and not adhering to Covid rules. A lot of people called for his arrest. This is no different. Laws are there for a reason. I perosnally fault the organizers of the show. They should have done better. Artistes should also do their research. COVID is very much real. So many people have died and lost loved ones, even on this blog. A second wave is looming here too.

Abike says the foreign mission is already involved. Hopefully everything is resolved soonest and they come home. There are so many lessons to be learnt here.

    1. I like your thought process.I refuse to be biased because he is Nigerian. How can you break the law and say you were invited for a show? Do you know how many artists have cancelled their various shows? Are they stupid? Mstchew.

  16. Thank you to those for the rule of laws of every nation. I must say though Abike Dabiri seems to be the only person doing her job in the administration. Maybe she gets more code$ but at least she tries even when the Nigerians involved are at fault like these ones!
