ReplyDeleteNa wah, pastors not only steal, they also kill, fornicate and commmit adultry. I don't know which sin is greater for a pastor.
DeleteI understand his point of view but he can't speak on behalf of all the men of God. Real and fake pastors exist so it's better to always stand for yourself. Abi no be social media here na im Police dey catch pastors with all manner of unimaginable offenses. Evil Bible says that many will come to you in his name but by their fruits we shall know them. If I see thief Pastor, I go still call am out.
ReplyDeleteStop holding religion as a noose around people’s neck. You can’t risk God’s wrath if someone called a pastor is stealing, you are only saying the truth.
ReplyDeleteYou risk God’s wrath when you accuse anyone falsely - 7th commandment.
Why not say;
ReplyDeletePoli-thieves risk God's wrath?
Boko Haram murderers risk God's wrath?
Kidnappers and ritualists who do not want to repent risk God's wrath?
Why not say, those killing unarmed protesters risk God's wrath?
Or that those who kill children taking solace in their wombs, risk God's wrath if they don't repent?
Why pick on those saying that "pastors are stealing"
Are you now a defender of pastors (even those who are actually doing it?)
ππππππππππππ
What about the ones truly stealing?
ReplyDeleteHe should speak for himself and leave other pastors alone because, he is not God that judges and sees the heart of men.
DeleteIs there anyone you know that steals?
DeleteHe is absolutely right ...touch not my anointed ,do my prophet no harm
ReplyDeleteSee them,the jesus business people,thieves
DeleteSo if a pastor is truly stealing, It is a taboo to say it? The reality is there are true men of God and there are those who called themselves for reasons best known to them.
DeleteAll these threats will not change the fact.
@Pst
DeletePlease go to the dictionary and learn the meaning of "touch," and stop abusing Scriptures.
Which people did Jesus tell this:
Mathew 7: 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Pst who anointed you?
Delete@Saphire
Delete"Anointing" does not make a pastor. The knowledge of the Word of God does. If you do not know the Word of God,
forget about anointing. πππππ
Yimu!π
ReplyDeleteHe can only frighten those who do not know the word of God. Please read for yourself what the equivalent of stealing pastors did in the bible and how God dealt with them.
ReplyDelete1 Samuel 2:15 New International Version
But even before the fat was burned, the priest's servant would come and say to the person who was sacrificing, "Give the priest some meat to roast; he won't accept boiled meat from you, but only raw."
These are Eli’s sons known for their crocked ways.
DeleteBecause pastor=God?
ReplyDeleteBecause pastors control God?
It's even better to criticise Pastor's than the Government in the eyes of God.
Those of u that waste no time insulting pastors, what are y'all thinking tho?
ReplyDeleteIf u think they are doing wrong why not leave them to God to judge, He's the one who called them, not u.
Oh really?
DeleteOh please !!!
DeleteBut you call out politicians? Do you know elections are secrade? And to be elected God is involved. Politicians have more anointing than your pastors yet we are allowed to speak out when they misbehave.
DeleteAmong all the things this Pst preached yesterday. This is the only caption people heard. What do l know .....
ReplyDeleteStella mind what you post.face your blog and leave God to fight His battles..
ReplyDeleteLet her keep allowing devil to use her.
DeleteOyedepo is a great man, I love him so much. He has built an exceptional brand with living faith brand, he is not stealing anyone’s money, he is preaching the gospel and trying to make humanity better
ReplyDeleteWell done
Deleteπππ
DeleteNa so
DeleteThank you!!! πππ
DeleteI reserve my comment.
ReplyDeleteIn fact I have nothing to say π π π€£π€£π€£
So if pastors are stealing we shouldn't call them out? Even the Bible warned us of false prophets.
ReplyDeleteI believe Oyedepo is talking about the dust raised on the issue of tithing. Having said that, there are pastors who steal. The truth is, some of Oyedepo's pastors are thieves. I am not making assumptions neither am I making false accusations. Some of those guys- the thieves i referred to above- would happily take his statement out of context for their own earthly, but transient advantage. The mercy of God says, "If you are a pastor and you are stealing, please repent in Jesus name."
ReplyDeleteThese Pastors must really believe they have higher grace.
ReplyDeleteThey do, Oyedepo does, and many others, next time, try watch SHILOH, you may catch one or two things, maybe even three or more, for yourself.
DeleteHigher grace so much more than you can imagine, overflowing grace
DeleteThe man of God said a lot during Shiloh that is impacting lives and people will only pick on the negatives.
ReplyDeleteHe/they is a man of God let God judge him/ them, they don't force people to give.
Giving is a spiritual law that benefits the giver. If you think they are stealing, don't give to their ministry
Do u leave politicians nd thieves for God to judge? U guys think pastors are special! They are bloody sinners like u
Deleteif those pastors actually steal, it is the pastors who are risking God's wrath
ReplyDeleteShiloh just ended this morning and of all the messages preached someone picks this without the context surrounding it and makes a sensational headline out of it.π³π³π³
ReplyDeleteMay God help us
Bishop Oyedepo just gave renewed impetus to some of those within his own ministry who are worse than politicians. Some of them refer to stealing as "blessing". He- Oyedepo- in time past sued a pastor in his ministry who stole $90k. These guys are going to steal the more. They would give tithes and offerings from what they have stolen. While Oyedepo might not be a thief, there are pastors who are grand masters in stealing. Thanks
ReplyDeleteAre you aware of how many he has allowed to slide? Talking from someone in the system.
DeleteAnonymous 17:20, are you aware of many he doesn't even know? Auditors conniving with RPs to defraud the system. But then, someone needs to tell Bishop to take DUE care of staff. Do not wait till they are sick or are being laid to rest. It is well.
DeleteBishop said so many things during Shiloh and only one sentence was picked for what exactly?
ReplyDeleteYou guys did not even listen to the whole message.
I wonder if people actually sit down to listen to the entire message just to pick one or two lines and post so that social media can go agog with comments... smh
Thanks UK for this! because i listen to that message.
Deleteπππππππππ
ReplyDeleteForget all these religious men that call themselves pastors. A pastor as described by the word of God cannot steal. I think that is Bishop's point.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people delight so much pleasure by dragging these men of God. I don't attend his church but I listened to this message and they are just talking out of context. I was blessed by his ministrations. Thank God for grace
ReplyDeleteGuilty comscience is catching this criminal.
ReplyDeleteAs a born again Christian who was in fellowship when Oyedepo and Adeboye were riding Peugeot cars in the 80s and you could sit in the front row whenever they came to the CU programs, I know they are children of God. He was in Kaduna then. However, it is erroneous to say anyone should not be criticized or has a higher level of grace. The Bible says judgement must start in God’s house which is only fair and just. Have you forgotten Ananias & Saphiras in the early church or diagreements about who watered and who planted “ Paul and Apollo’s”, etc. it’s only in Nigeria and with the increase in poverty that folks started this garbage about being above criticism. By the definition of grace (undeserved, unmerited), is there a higher or lower level. “Search the scriptures “ yourself. Pouring olive oil is not announting. “ How God annointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power .... went about doing GOOD”. I understand that with the wealth gap between the worshippers and their leaders, the tendency is to say “Alright Sir” like the load carriers in Lagos Island but some of us who knew them when they were in 504 like my dad aren’t worshipping them but according them the respect due every human being. Beware of idolatry, worshipping a church leader is idolatry. Respect is due everyone but not worship. When satan tempted Jesus on the mountain he asked Jesus to “worship him” and Jesus told him only God deserves worship. I didn’t listen to any message, I don’t. I commented on the post. Worship only the Lord thy God.
