Just because I have water in my house doesn’t mean I am drinking it. Just because I have food in my house doesn’t mean I am eating it. There are times when I don’t want what is in my house and will choose to go out and find something else to eat and drink. When it comes to the longings of our soul, it is much like this example. I know the Spirit of Christ lives within me, but sometimes I do not want what He offers, or I forget. I can have a deep longing, a deep thirst, and deep hunger for Him and don’t know it. Then I wonder why nothing I do or no one I am around is able to satisfy me completely. This is when I have to face the truth that the longing of my soul is only satisfied in Christ.
My sister, our need for love, affection, validation, a sense of worth, and all we could ever need and want is met in Christ. We are not lacking. Because He lives in us, we have a source of strength and love that is pouring out into our spirit and soul. He is constant and unfailing. But it’s up to us to drink and be satisfied. To eat and be satisfied in Him.

These days I see people fasting (especially this January period)
A friend of mine hasn't been online, I asked her what's up,hope all is well, she goes 'yes my sister, we're just having our yearly January fast'
Same with our secretary inthe office, she's been looking dull and always praying silently at her desk, I ask, ma are you ok? She goes 'yes my dear, I'm just fasting'
Was the Bible recently amended? Because I was raised not to let people know when I'm fasting and not to act dull or look as if I'm fasting. I feel people now use fasting as a means to 'shine'. Letting the whole world know so to garner sympathy and look holy.

I just told him this morning that I hope for him to have a very great day at work today with smiles on my face.
I'll be waiting for him later in the evening.
Will make sure he is relaxed. Then I will give him the shock of his life while I leave him the next morning and travel back. That will make him to suffer cause we are far away from each other.
I know he loves me so much that he won't be able to bear what is coming his way.

So here are the tips.

Please be at your service desk on time..Even if you are gonna come in late, communicate to your team lead or supervisor reason you are coming late (calls, whatsapp); please don't clock out early (Resume late, exit late) to be on the safe side.
- Keep record of your achievements: Please even if you are not a salesperson or marketer. As an employee, always form the habit of recording or noting down your achievements; have both hard and soft copies of your achievements - on your computer system, books and notepads; it can record them weekly or monthly.
- Know your team lead/supervisor: Here you need to pray to God to give you a discerning spirit..Know your bosses' attitude, temperament: They are some you follow with wisdom while we have some who wants things to be done a certain way. Even if you are not going to agree with all you are told to do; please explain to him or her in a respectful manner.
- Engage in self development programmes: Don't wait for your company to train you; please engage in online course most of them are free; get new skills and enhance your existing skills further. Record your progress from time to time and let your team lead or supervisor know every step of the way.
- Try to do other jobs aside from us: See I am not saying you should abandon your job duties; All i am saying is as you carry out your daily routine, get know other functions or jobs of other department you never know how this will help you.
- Commmunicate! Communicate!! Communicate!!!: Please learn to communicate your bosses, line managers or team leads..Tell them areas that you may be having challenges and where you need help..Be diligent at work and remember you are not working to make friends..You may think it was your team lead or supervisor that snitched on you to your HR but it could those people in other department that may have done that..Follow peace with all men but be wise as a serpent...
