    1. Phoenix dear, it is not enough reason. The world is advancing, Nigeria is going backward. By the time we realise it, it'll be too late. At a time when the world is even moving towards cryptocurrencies, our country wants to cut us off from it.

Yes i know but the thing is CBN want to regulate it and want it licensed so they have control over the activities just like other climes. Well lets see how it goes cause i believe it wont be for long.

    3. That’s not true, they banned it because Nigerians are bypassing banks for international transactions. Crypto and usdt is the best way to get dollars since the govt cancelled every other means last year..

They are just using fraud to cover face for the nonsense damage they’ve done to the country

why did they stopped people from receiving money using Paypal??

  6. No nation's Central Bank backs/encourages crypto. Ghana and a few other countries came out with their versions of the policy in early January. There is nothing wrong with the policy. It didn't say Nigerians should stop trading in Crypto. It is the responsibility of CBN to regulate the activities of all financial institutions in Nigeria, this is exactly what it did.

  9. This is proof that Nigeria does not want it's people to be financially free. Crypto is being traded in other countries with no problem, why are you involved with what people are investing their personal money in? Take your investments out of Nigeria, if you can help it

  11. @anonymous 19.58, I believe the law is for amateur investors not a general ban. It is definitely not the same thing as what Nigeria is doing
