    3. How is Genevieve a bitter feminist? You can pass your message without pulling the other down. Let love lead.

    4. Queen Roaster, what did Genevieve do to you? How is she forming bitter feminist? So you think if she was favoured with a good man to marry like Mary, she would have refused. Please, stop mocking people with gifts that come from God. Its not nice at all. RIP to her sister.

So she named her Ada after her twin? Boko haram claimed the life of her twin? Really sad. Yes Queen, you made it! She's so proud of you all the way from heaven. I've always loved her and her handsome husband and she's never wrong in my own eyes too. I can only imagine the pains she went through. May her soul continue to rest in peace.πŸ’πŸ’

    3. I also think she came across as a little boastful but she probably didn't mean to. Better to focus on the message she is passing across. RIP to her dearest Sis, I hope the insecurity in Nigeria gets better.

  14. Bia anons up there reading with jealous and bitter minds, please take several seats back!
What is wrong in all she wrote? Was it not achieved by her?

Haba mana!! Rejoice with her and give her a thumps up! It ain't easy.
She started from a humble beginning, listed her struggles and achievements.
Please learn to read someone else's achievement with a happy heart and don't ever compare yourself with the person.
That's how jealousy and envy creeps in.
    I'm outa here.

  19. There is nothing wrong with being proud about your accomplishments, most especially on the ground in which she is expressing this. Pride sometimes is not necessarily a bad thing. No need for false humility all the time, brag a little if you want. Rejoice and revel that you came out triumphant despite having walked through the fire
you sparkled and shone even brighter rather than go up in smoke. People would whine about their pain and we try to make them feel better but when they talk about their accomplishments we look for ways to silence them. I prefer good news like this if you ask me and I pray for more like this. Yes! She is proud about her success but she is also proud about her scars, the journey, the memories and all that brought her this far and she wears it all proudly like a medal. She talked about her low points too and the down moments she shared with her lovely sister but people would only see what they want to at the end of the day like she just woke up and decided to flaunt. I just do not know why It ruffles people feathers when others are proud of themselves and how far they have come. It would have been a different thing if she was fawning over her success in a bid to downplay others struggles and she was busy making a comparison making others feel bad about themselves like they aren't trying enough but here she is only focused on what is important, her sister, their goal and dreams coming into fruition, sadly the sister isn't present to witness it but she did it! She did it for her sister and who knows her sister's death and the fact that she so much believed in her even more than she believed in herself might have been the driving force that propelled this beautiful lady to work harder and never give up even when she had reached her limits and just wanted to throw in the towel. This should inspire someone out there that no dream is too big to achieve no matter what ball life throws at you and not to upset anyone. Envy is not a good look! This piece is so emotional and I almost shed a tear. People see the glory but have no idea about the pain.
Congratulations Mary, your sister would have been so proud of you.

    1. Just agree that her write somehow reeks of pride instead of beating around the bush.

    2. Yes.. There are just some accomplishments that fill you with so much pride, you just want to shout it to the world, especially when you remember where you are coming from. There's nothing wrong with Mary's write up. All I see is a success story, just so sad her sister did not live to celebrate with her.

    1. Enh they are partners I guess. Maybe the husband provided the funds and Mary did the legwork.

Just like funke akindele husband can claim ownership of her Scene one productions as well. Only that funke provided both the money and legwork.
      It is well.

  24. Anybody who watches ROK, must know how hard working this lady is. She produces, directs and acts in atleast 50 percent of the movies aired on ROK. So pls anons calling her prideful, should let her blow her trumpet. She knows her past and how far she has come. Kudos Mary.

I'm a big fan, super proud of her courage. Not many are courageous enough to pursue their dreams.
