Saturday Breakfast Post...

 Perfect Breakfast if you truly Nigerian....





This is what i had for breakfast but without the fried fish..... The fried fish does not go with the groundnuts for me...

What is/was for Breakfast?

    1. Had an omelette; filled with diced fried potatoes, mushrooms, peppers, garlic and onions. Topped with some grated cheese. Back to lie down; having a lazy day today.

    2. I had white amala and black soup(prepared with dried and grounded bitter leaves, scent leaves, ugu leaves, that pepperish leaves, some other leaves that I don't know their English name, spices, stock fish, dried fish, kpomo, goat meat, smoked fish, crayfish, dawadawa). It was pure bliss!

    3. I am very pleased to see this picture. Nigerian food needs to be presented in such a way that will attract international recognition through its presentation instead of just slapping the food unto the plate.

  5. Waiting for my landlady to send me Akara. She also sends me some whenever she fries them. From my room, I can perceive the aroma. Not making breakfast. Na sidon wait I dey. Taking green tea now though.

  6. Bought the jollof rice I ate from across the road cause the aroma woke me up. My love for sour agbalumo this days, I don't understand. Eating 3 just this morning

  19. I had a cup of chai tea and some diced coconuts,kids and hubby had pancakes,blueberries and milk. Egusi soup and pounded yam loading for lunch. I was lucky to find some tushed yams at an african store yesterday, I will try to make the pounded yam with my stand mixer and see how it goes.
