Actress Foluke Daramola Apologizes For Supporting Colleague Accused Of Raping Minor..

Nollywood Actress Foluke Daramola posted an apology on her page for allegedly supporting Actor Baba Ijesha who was accused of raping a minor 7 years ago....

She says she only reposted a writeup posted by her colleague Yomi Fabiyi

According to her;

Good morning Everyone

A lot of things has been flying around concerning my name and I will like to make some things very clear. God knows I knew nothing about Princess and baba ijesha.

The point I was coming from was that I had been a victim of rape and I know how it felt, I was at the receiving end people didn't believe me, people looked at me and castigated me as if I was the one who put myself into the situation but I looked at it from the fact that we shouldn't have something to blame this poor child for....not that I would ever support a rapist No!. 

Before my kids travelled out, a boy was harassing my daughter I went to report to the police station but they did nothing.

I was looking at this situation from the perspective of a concerned mother that at the end of the day let us be definite. I know when it comes to rape issues people can twist stories. I would never ever in my life support ijesha, Ijesha has to go down ... I never knew it had something to do with Princess. I wasn't even the one wrote the article it was Yomi. I wanted us to be sure of what we were doing that was my concern I have been there, I had a case, years back in my foundation, a three year old girl was raped by a pastor, I followed the case up first day and second day every thing was okay when I went there on the third day, the parents told me to let it go that he was a pastor.


I am extremely sorry for what happened I didn't know it was Princess even if it wasn't her I just wanted us to have concrete evidence before we go ahead .I am a victim of rape and I will say it anywhere. I would never ever support a rapist.

 if there was a misconception I'm extremely sorry I never compared it to baba Suwe case. it was Yomi Fabiyi's write up. I will never ask them to put up this girl's face to the public


I run a foundation on rape and abuse and I knew I had to say something because at the end of the day people will say what I'm i advocating for. I will never be a party to rapist because I have been a victim I know how it feels you come out of it with no self esteem. I will never encourage it. I never knew it had something to do with Princess it's not only about her but the child is the bone of contention all I wanted was for us to calm down and see what is going on because I know how rape cases are. people will be blaming one and other that was what I was avoiding I want us to get to the root of the case. Obviously I have been misquoted and judged, I'm sorry even when I approached the police concerning my daughter's assault they advised me to get concrete evidence when it has to do with such cases


Baba ijesha, with this testimony has to go down, including his accomplices will go down, I will never ever support a rapist what's my gain? for any misconception I'm truly sorry I will definitely take the right step and make sure baba ijesha faces the music, he has already confirmed what he did. I have tried reaching out to Princess but no avail.. I will drive down to her house and make sure I see her.


As an actor and friend to Princess, I will see to it that justice will be served. I will,l do that, when I had issues princess called me to check up on me, please I do not mean any harm I have no relationship with baba ijesha. thank you very much
