Mo Abudu should do better next time, if you wanna give award, go round, analyse, check, investigate more not just concentrating on those producing films and residing in Lagos/Abuja/ Ibadan.

DeleteThis Shade is now a well known busybody, actresses are talking, she sef is talking, is she an actress? With this her attitude, can she survive in Nollywood? I don't know about Halima but Ruth Kadiri is well justified in calling them out and even Mo Abudu knows that.
ReplyDeleteMust you get an award or be recognised before you think you are good at your craft?? They didn't give you an award this year doesn't mean you should bicker and wail. Not holding brief for Shade,infact i do not like her, she made some unsavoury remark about Paddy Adenuga some years ago, but on this issue about "not being bitter, but try to be better" she is right. Everyone can not get an award. If you are good mos def your art will speak for you. Bottom line, you don't need an award to know you are good. Ask BRYMO,EMINEM and NAS etc. Keep being a better version of you and stick to excellence at your craft!
ReplyDeleteMark this your comment holds no water when it concerns Ruth Kadiri. She is one of the excellent few in directing, producing and acting Nollywood movies. She has invested time and money and has definitely improved her craft over the years. You obviously do not watch Nollywood movies to be suggesting Ruth should be better.
