DeleteMy take on this after playing catch-up is that while I'm grateful that God and His angels have taken up her case, this should also be a warning to Ada and many like her to "hurry slowly" in life. If you seek fast fame "carelessly", you'd lose it same way with serious consequences to pay.
I had to go and watch some of her old posts and I was disgusted at her verbal diarrhea. It's one thing to catch cruise, it's another to be eating with the devil and his agents when you know you did not bring a long spoon to the party. She offended a lot of people and they were right to be angry. When you offend someone, let them exercise their right to react the way they deem fit. You can't force forgiveness because you may never be able to measure the depth of the hurt you caused by your words/deeds.
In my opinion, she was probably in business with Rita Edochie and Odugieje as she revealed; they probably scammed her out of her percentage as she alleged but she should have prepared for the aftermath of her revelations. Afterall, "there is freedom of speech but freedom after speech is never guaranteed" except you've got God firmly in your corner. Rita Edochie (who decided to hit below the belt when she had her opportunity) spoke her truth when she said she wouldn't forgive. What if she had played to the gallery and said she'd forgiven when she still bore deadly grudges? Let's allow people to go through their healing and forgiveness phase in their own time. When she did that second video saying she had forgiven, I believed her because she had had time to reflect and find her peace.
Ada (I refuse to add Jesus) dined and wined with both of them when the going was good. Her lion sent her money when she was first sick and she did a video to thank him. She did other videos to insult people on his behalf in the past too. So, there was nowhere else to run to when they fell out. She don use sh*t block everywhere because she had access to the internet. I hope she has learnt every valuable lesson she'd need going forward. This her sickness that they are using to "shine" did not start today and they all know it. She talked about her "healing from poison" in an old video. May God perfect her healing and grant her the wisdom to stay far away from shady characters who have turned God's house to a business enterprise.
In all of these, the winner is the native spiritualist who was angry enough (because he felt wrongly accused by Ada) to openly curse her, charitable enough to openly forgive her, benevolent enough to give her money towards her treatment and loving enough to persuade her former "Christian" brethren to follow in his laudable footsteps. He preached a thousand sermons by his gestures and I pray God permits it to count in his favour on that last day.

ReplyDeleteI knew all along that odumeje and rita edochie's scandal was never the reason for her ailment. May God grant her healing as he healed me completely from kidney disease. The God that did it for me will locate you and give you a perfect health. Kidney disease is a financial draining illness but God's grace was sufficient for me at that time.

Please my people, if you can make your own food, do it and manage your salt potion yourself. The reason why kidney disease is too much these days is because we eat a lot outside these days because of busy schedule. Stress also can cause blood pressure to rise.

ReplyDeleteThe worst mistake her family did was to carry her there, I don't know if its spiritual or physical, what I know is that man is not God, and God is not dead, he heals when he wants to, and can also use man to perfect his work. Ok. She was just diagnosed? The interview posted a few days ago on BBC igbo made it clear that she was diagnosed last year and the doctors warned her of things not to take which she admitted she ignored until her condition got worse. She said in that interview that she was referred to India for a transplant.

She wasn’t just diagnosed. Like you said, she’s had a diagnosis since. But you know the Nigerian way, even if one knows the source of their problem, family members will attribute everything to spiritual forces. And Ada might have gone along with it because what else do you do when you see life slipping away.
