Gunmen Attack Imo Prison And Police Headquarters, Set Facilities Ablaze And Free Inmates

Gunmen in large numbers reportedly attacked the federal prison and police command headquarters in Owerri, Imo state in the early hours of Monday.


The Police Station/facility was burnt down and, over 1500 detainees, and inmates in the prison were reportedly set free by the gunmen who were heavily armed.

      I know many people follow Nnamdi Kanu's school of thought but let me tell you they are in the minority in Igbo land!
      What I will believe is that we don't feel comfortable with the present day govt handling of things when it concerns others but for us to rejoice over killings and destruction,it is not in the blood of a true Igbo man,we are not violent neither are we blood suckers!

  6. Someone said when the unknown gun men got to the prison, they told the inmates they should arise and go home for Christ has risen.

    I'm still observing happenings going on in Nigeria. We are in a trouble time.
