    1. BTW, two connotations can be gotten from this question and the answer would still be no;

1.The one who cheated and passed.
      2. The one who did not cheat.
      So which is it?

      Delete
    2. The question says ever cheated in an exam and STILL failed, so neither 1 nor 2 applies.

    3. Twins square, are we in Semantics class bayi?

    4. The second commenter cheated in English comprehension. How can you make those 2 inferences from the question? Naija ti tan from these comments. How una dey sleep at night knowing your certificates & degrees were not earned? Una go abuse “kwarrupt” politicians but your own worse pass! Na waa for Nigeria. E be like say they should list the country on EBay for sale! I tire

    1. During WAEC, I wrote Igbo for my classmate who joined us in SS3 from England. I saw how confused she was before the exam and told her not to worry. I finished mine in less than an hour, subtly swapped answer sheets and finished hers just in time. We both got A1.
      I'm sorry, Lord.

    3. And yes, I got help too. My seat mate knew how bad I was at mathematics and he was the best in my class so he promised to help. Due to the alphabetical seating arrangement during WAEC, we were five rows apart. I kept looking back helplessly. He came through. Changed seats with the boy beside me and cleared my paper. B3.
      I'm being honest here.
      I'm sorry once more, Lord.

    6. @Castle Windsor, I appreciate your sincerity and honesty. You've earned my respect in triple folds. I've done things in the past that I regret, and I have asked for forgiveness and made peace with my God.

  13. Those that cheat often don't realize they are only doing themselves, it catches up with you one way or the other most times.

The bigger issue is that the consequences affect others e.g. quack doctors, pharmacists, accountants etc

    ReplyDelete

    1. @ consequences. Do they even have brains to think of that? This is the tragedy. We have graduates who know nothing about what they studied in school because they cheated and sorted their way through.

They will still come out to hold jobs that affect the lives of you and yours. Imagine a doctor playing boju boju with your intestine.
Imagine an Engkish graduate who cannot explain what syntax is?

And yet you will have daft supporters of this stupidity chanting 'no shame in the game no shame in the game. May you and yours enjoy the full brunt of this 'game'.

    2. 👍🏽👏🏽The society now has physicians who might as well be carpenters. They removed fibroid and the scar makes it seem the dr thought the uterus could be accessed below the rib cage, mutilating the victim-patient. Another one had CS done in Naija, they cut half her womb to remove a baby, also mutilating her from the upper abdomen as the dr didn’t seem to know where the pelvis is. Many of the graduates of the professions may never be able to practice here as they didn’t learn much. I laughed because I actually thought Mr Castle was kidding😂 but the other “matter-of-fact” no remorse comments made me feel sorry for the country. No wonder many cannot complete ordinary immigration forms or read instructions! You can abuse me but I’m in my fifties, had all As throughout and NEVER cheated whether in exam or in the other important area of life, relationships. Cheating in an exam is a deeper reflection of a character flaw than just the desire to pass. Many unrepentant exam cheaters will cheat on their BFs or GFs or spouses. Expediency is the rule in their lives and they end up in the team of treasury looters as it takes the same type of conscience. Just put Naija for sale on EBay as a used country with minerals but no honest leadership and a mostly corrupt followership. Maybe Warren Buffet the most respectable billionaire will make a bid

      Delete
    3. Bid on waste? What for? He will need to get rid of the peoples otherwise he will be frustrated like Richard Branson and pick race.

You are saying fill immigration form? That one is too much na...ordinary letter, basic comprehension. Zero.

They read and comprehend in texts and WhatsApp emoticons.

Imagine the country in the next 10 years with this crop of youths.

  15. I remember unilag diploma back then, physics practical, a former neighbor that was a confirmed student already, told me ahead how difficult the course was to pass, that she will connect me to one of the lab attendants. Met with the man,who told me not to worry, that when other students were submitting their practical work, I shouldn't bother with mine, that he will write mine n submit, ofcourse I settled him with cash, long story short, results came out, & yours truly had a missing result, I wan cray, with diploma money wey no easyto pay, he kept looking n looking for it,so he can gv lecturer to mark mine, it was not found till date o, I passed my diploma though and moved to year 2. Didn't get a carry over since it was not really important in my course of study.

    1. If anybody is wondering why cheats, (yes the looters are also cheating with inflated contracts) have run Naija aground, this post by the followership provides the answer we need. A people deserve the goverment they get and we always get goverment of cheats by cheats for cheats. *replace cheat with dishonest”. Whenever I forward SDK posts some of my friends wonder what I find interesting there and I mean it in a complimentary way to Stella. They think blogs are like the National Enquirer. I tell them I read the comments. As we are trying to lobby the government like the powerful Jewish Lobby to tackle politically exposed persons (PEP) from all 774 local goverment areas with sanctions including visa ban & deportation and restitution, I wanted to know the quality of the followers, having left for so long. SDK folks are honest almost to the point of admitting felony, they are hilarious true Nigerians who crack me up. You have given me more insight than 30 years of living outside could have done! I just want to understand the pipeline if by some miracle, PEP were banned from holding positions of trust with government assets. Sadly, the pipeline looks corroded! The cheating mentality has permeated the entire society.
