IPOB Deny Killing Politician Ahmed Gulak

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has denied being responsible for the death of Ahmed Gulak, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, described Gulak’s death as a “professional assassination.”

The Nigerian intelligence community had accused IPOB members of killing Gulak in Imo State but he insisted that members of the group was not responsible for Gulak’s death and described the claims by the Nigeria Intelligence community as unprofessional.

He, also charged the state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, to disclose how Gulak died.

According to Powerful: “The Nigeria intelligence community has shown how unprofessional they are, today is not sit-at-home.
People are going to church and this was why he shifted the date to tomorrow. This is political assassination; we are not in the same party with Gulak.

“Uzodinma and APC knows about Gulaks death, we do not know anything about his movement, talk more of him being in the state. Nigerians believe this because they hate IPOB, Biafra.”

    1. If they didn't have the stay at home order in the first place, this wouldn't have been framed on them.

    2. The stay at home is for tomorrow now, can't you read? IG of police gave a shoot on sight order, why is nobody talking about that?

  3. Emma powerful I kinda believe you. I see his death as a political assassination. I don't think Ahmed Gulak has any issue with IPOB. People shouldn't be ascribing every killing to IPOB. Even the unknown gun men are only attacking police facility and security personnel which I also frown at. People shouldn't forget there's a running political battle between the ex governor and the incumbent. So no one can truly ascertain the perpetrators of this act.

I wonder the speed with which people and the police always conclude without investigation that IPOB does the killing in any Eastern states. Even western countries don't rush issues like this without proper investigation.

  4. Though I'm not a supporter of IPOB, it's obvious that this is a political assassination. How would IPOB get the information about his movements? He was wearing face mask and he was dragged out of his car with no bullet holes on the car.
He removed APC ticket from Uche Nwosu and gave it to Hope.
So, Rochas, Hope, Uche Nwosu etc should tell us who killed him. Don't forget that when Hope had his 419 office, if your job pays and u collect the money thru his office, they'll pay you and block u on your way home and collect the money back from you and make it look like armed robbery. Maybe Gulak had collected his money and Hope and his boys did what they know very well.

    2. Don't mind them they want people to believe is politically motivated. People that matters in that region need to find a way to put a stop to all this before it becomes a situation where the whole region becomes another war zone, attacking all those government institutions is wrong and need stop.

    1. Thank you...idiotic comments everywhere. None Easterners commenting on shit they don't know.

I don't support IPOB or whatever but one thing I know is that they are not cowards. If they killed him, they will say it.

The Nigerian army wants to justify their reason for being in the East and used that as an excuse to blame IPOB...even the blind can see that.

  10. South East better put their house in order now and speak against destruction of government property and attack against law enforcement before the whole region turned into complete war zone. Omo your region will suffer serious fate if care is not taken there is a better way of realising your seperative view without resorting to war

  12. Hope Uzodinma and Rochas should explain what happened to this man. I believe IPOB. The man was trailed from his hotel and I guess he was trying to disguise himself, reason he did not go with escorts. So it's the people who are aware of his visit killed him.

  14. This could be an assasination. Mr Gulak, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was the chairman of the committee which conducted the 2019 APC governorship primary in Imo State that produced the incumbent Governor of the state, Hope Uzodinma, as the candidate of the party.
