Well, it's a two way thing, they are all Innocent except the Killer until you can prove them guilty...

They dont need threats, they need to clear their names....

    2. Law suit is good. If they were threatening to harm him then we will shout with you. You expect us to just swallow your reports hook, line and sinker? If they insist they are innocent then they are right to save their names at the courts. And if you are just purporting fake news at the expense of the innocent then you deserve a jail term or pay damages.

    3. That's because we do things the wrong way in Nigeria.

What's the big deal in releasing the tape to clear your name?
Instead you are looking for whom to sue.

Dear David, just use this opportunity to seek asylum. They never reward peoples hard work in this country.

    4. Please how was he purporting fake news?
      Did they communicate? Yes.
Did you read his findings, he dint accuse anyone if I can remember.
He did all he did so that the police could use it to get a warrant for all recorded messages.

Why are they threatening him? The normal thing is to push for a warrant so they can attain all recorded conversation.

    5. Push up, I am not say he is purporting fake news. What I mean is if the people he named insist they are innocent then they are right to go to court. Everything will blow open in court. I just pray they don't harm the guy before or as the case gets to court since our legal system is not so reliable.

    1. How else do they clear their names? Premium times , the best investigative news outlet in Nigeria interviewed Blessing Godwin, Effiong, Ezeugo ( DPO) . Blessing Godwin gave her testimony, Effiong issued a press statement detailing his role. This half a penny journalist, who is desperately seeking for fame can go to any length to destroy anybody. Somebody here said David probably had access to the voice recordings of the calls. He doesn't have access to anything, if had, given who he is the recordings will be available on the net. It is not the responsibility of a journalist to accuse anybody. You do your investigation which funded by your employer, you submit your investigation for publication. That's all there is to it. But this young man is behaving as if there is score to be settled between him and Effiong .

  9. His confidence says it all. He must have listened to the voice note between the murderer and the KUFRE guy. I believe he's keeping that as special evidence because the way he keeps tweeting about the voice note asking the network providers to release them, there's something he knows that nobody knows yet.

I just pray he has enough resources to stay safe

    2. I agree. He has definitely listened to it. The only reason he can’t release it is because it’ll be a breach for him to do so as an individual. I sincerely pray this issue doesn’t die down without justice.

    3. You're smart Ojaelba, David would not have released such a report without evidence. Threatening him kind of show they are trying to hide things away from the

    4. This boy is not a journalist. It is insulting to call him an investigative journalist. That you saw the mobile numbers of people in the call log of a criminal, is not enough to assume they are criminals. This guy has been gloating on twitter with Hinny's story. Investigation is ongoing , you can't tell the police authorities how to investigate murder cases. People you have slandered have the right to protect themselves. I have gone to the site of Newswire, there is nothing worthy there . Before you foolishly come here to call me names, know that I have read several investigative stories on The Cable, Premium times, New York times, Washington Post , BBC . The reporters don't make deliberate efforts to slander anybody. They present their truth, they don't judge anybody. Neither do they move from one television house to another looking for cheap fame

    5. Bless Ojaelba. For him to keep insisting on that voice note shows there's more to it...

    7. I think so too
Cus to my knowledge all Ill gotten evidence is usually discarded in court.
They need a court order in order to access it.

He said we should find out what was discussed, what everyone should be pushing for is the release of the conversation, then if he is found guilty they sue him.

    8. 13:51 Bank rolling who? Does that one sound like he knows the difference between his nose and his foot? Always chatting trash.

Abeg kudos to the young man. We need more fearless men like this.

  10. Simple.

These people don't know what Network Engineering is all about.

When you drop facts and they say you're lying DROP THEIR PHONE NUMBERS and take a walk.
    No time to waste time.
It's only their partners in crime that will be onto screaming Oh it's all lies.

The cellsites have been released, the phone conversation should be made public.

This case doesn't need lawyers,no long story.

      No story needed.
Someone calls you a thief yet there's evidence that you aren't one, the best thing to do will be to provide that evidence.

Someone is saying we shouldn't tell the police how to do thier jobs, forgetting the kind of country that we live in.
If we don't fight for justice we would never get it.
      Release the damn tapes

  12. Wey dem! *in Stella's voice*

David Hundeyin is a star! Imagine if it was the police that released David's report. The whole country and those in diaspora would be rejoicing at our excellent reformed police force. But no. They will not do their work and when someone else brings Harvard-grade reports, instead of looking into it to properly set the records straight [with credible evidence], they will be threatening their village people upandan. Useless people.

The only time you see our politicians active is when they are negotiating more allowance for themselves or witch hunting perceived enemies. The only time the police do "their work diligently" is when they are carrying handbags for politician's wives, their side-chicks and yahoo boys.

Because of Ini's blood and those of other innocent victims, God will arise and rain down fire on all parties involved both in the crimes and the cover-up. They think David is like those ones they slap at sex toy shops in Abuja kwo? Dude is not even breathing Naija air right now. He has "exiled" himself already so DSS cannot invite him for any yeye "chat". #JusticeforIniUmoren

    2. 11:59 how are you sure there is no evidence? In my country of residence ehn the police listens on some calls oh! That's why before terrorist strikes, they are nabbed. The discussions between the killer and accomplices is recorded by the telcos and so are the call logs. Mr. David Hundeyin might have had access to the voice notes but for legal reasons cannot release it to the public. How about Hiny's friend that alerted the public to her predicament, I hope she is safe wherever she is?

  21. I read Kuffre's statement and saw it could be possible he is telling the truth. My question is why is the police not using Hundeyin's lead and following up with the telecoms companies? Why has the the Centre for Clinical Care and Research not said anything? What link does Frank's father have to the crime? Why did Kuffre say he was allowed to question Frank with the chairman in the room but the chairman denied that such ever happened? It's like the sloppiness of I'll trained policemen may let people go free.
