Pastor Adeboye Reacts To Son Dare's Death...

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, has reacted to the death of his son, Dare.

Adeboye said he cannot blame or question God over the death of his son.
He urged everyone to always thank God for the privilege of meeting with Dare when he was alive.

Speaking on Friday night at the May 2021 edition of the church’s Holy Ghost service, Adeboye said: “It is well even in the face of crises rather than ‘blame and question God’.”

He added: “Whatever we have is given to us by God, be it wealth, wife, husband, children e.t.c and if it got taken away by God, all we can do is give God glory for actually giving us the privilege to enjoy that wealth or kids temporarily and it is not for us to complain, blame and question God.”

Making reference to bible passage, Ezekiel 24:16, he said, “God took away Ezekiel’s wife and asked him not to mourn over her”.

“What we see as sorrows might be joy in the sight of God, I mean His ways and thoughts are not the same with ours, we shouldn’t forget that both good and bad happen at God’s command. (Lamentations 3:38).

Finally in all things let’s learn to say thank you father and It is well. God bless all of you in Jesus’ name.

There is a peace that passes human understanding. It is only God that can give that peace. I thank God that I have that peace.”

Dare died in his sleep during the week in his home in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.

    1. That is human reasoning. And it seems true.

But our times are in God's hands. Job 14:6 says our days have been preordained. Once it is over that's it.

God's ways are not our ways. If he was done with his work, then it was over for him.

  11. May we not lose any young person to death from sleep. It is as traumatic as death by vehicle accident and plane crash. You will want to develop spiritual powers to raise the dead but still won't be reversed.
Losing old people to death from sleep is not too sad as losing a younger healthy and energetic person without severe sickness or other means.

I feel that hidden pain in them but they will surely get over it.

May his soul RIP and may his wife, children, siblings, dad, mom, in-laws be consoled by the Holy spirit in Jesus name.

  16. Daddy G O, just spoke exactly what l told my family in our WhatsApp group.
I said God gives and he takes.......that in the midst of these, we still owe him worship and Praise.
Who can tell the mind of God, who can give answers to his mysteries........?
The name of the Lord be praised, forever more....🙏
