Pastor Dare Adeboye's Wife Reveals He Was Not Afraid To Die....

Temiloluwa Adeboye, wife of the late Pastor Dare Adeboye, said her husband was not afraid of death, adding that she was sure the late cleric was in heaven.

According to Temiloluwa, her husband told her before his death that if he died, he knew he was fulfilled because he had done what the Lord asked him to do.
.
Temiloluwa spoke on Monday at the Evening of Worship and Tribute which held at the RCCG, House Of Favour, Redemption Camp.
.
She said, “Pastor Dare, my husband was a wonderful person. He was amazing in every sense of the way. I do not mourn him at all; I weep because he left me. He slept, he did not die. And I know, I am sure, because on the resurrection morning, he will rise again and we will see him in glory.
.
“I am sure because he was saved. I am sure because he believed in Christ, his salvation was sure, it was certain.
.
“He said if I die today, I know I am fulfilled, I have done what the Lord has asked me to do, he was not afraid of death. He was not afraid. It is not a matter of time but how well and he lived a good life, he lived to the glory of God. He lived, he served God. His life was dedicated to Christ and that is why I am sure that he is heaven.
.
“I am sure that he made it. And I want to say brethren today, if you are not sure of your salvation. If you are not sure that if you sleep tonight, you might not wake up tomorrow, you are not sure of where you will be in eternity. If you have not yet given your life to Christ, if you are here today to see because you heard. Yes, it is true; he is sleeping in the Lord but are you sure of yourself, are you sure of where you will be? Are you sure of where you will be?”
.
The PUNCH had earlier reported that Dare, the third child of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, died last Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family. The 42-year-old was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 before his death. He was father to three daughters.

  1. Theres more to his death they're not telling us, he might have been battling an ailment over the years, reason behind his rapid aging, how does a man in his 40s look 60s?

    1. Yes but all in all, he has gone to rest finally, sickness & suffering have no power over him again. It is over for his earthly body. His spirit finds rest from the toils, left for others to prepare as it is a call to answer one day, you are healthy and live 150 years, you will answer it. My son died at the age of Six months plus, not sick, he has answered the call. As a mother I know what his mother is going through despise her faith. So remember her in your prayers rather than seek answer to personal issues that should be kept personal. No one tells all that he/she is going through. So just pray for them. Ye are strong today, pray for the weak

    2. Whatever it is, the point is he lived a life well lived. At the end of the day, on Judgment day, God won't ask whether it was an ailment or not, whether you were 80 or 20, it would be what you did with your life on earth.

So, if I were you, I would use this opportunity to introspect and review my life.

    5. You speak ignorantly. Do you know the spiritual exercises these men of God subject their flesh to?

Most of them engage in long hours of fasting, even running into days. They hardly sleep as long as you and I. They're always on long night prayers.

For instance, papa Oyedepo says he sleeps for the day at 3am and is awake around 5am or 6am. That's been his practise for years. 2-3hours of sleep in a day! That's enough to drain the flesh.

This is just a few points. Get your facts before jumping (like frog) into conclusion.

      I come in peace.

    7. So what will their telling us do for us??
Long and short of it is that he is dead and gone to be with his maker.
      Something must kill a man.

I'm just here wondering what you want to do with the info about his death. That is if there is any.

    12. Wheres the insensitivity there?
Y'all walk on eggshells alot when it comes to these Pastors, forgetting they have blood flowing in them like every normal being, stating the obvious should now be tongue-tied? What's wrong with aging? We should all pray to attain that age...

    13. You are insensitive Samurai, eod. A family is grieving and the best you can do is speculate, have some empathy and sense na.

      Delete
    14. Samurai... Looking 60 ooo, ugly, pretty, handsome, rich or poor, no one is getting out here alive, you, me inclusive.. So then live and make your life count.. Strive to be remembered by something tangible!

    15. It is not how long but HOW WELL. A life of purpose will always be superior to wasted existence. He answered his call well. The question for you is "when death comes calling, will you be ready?"

      Delete
    16. Samurai's comment is touching a nerve in some of you probably because it is a pastor's child, which is very okay. I will like us to have this same sentiment and sensitivity when we talk about celebrities and politicians. We are all human beings and equal in the sight of God.

    17. I have friends that look over 10 years their age and they are hale and hearty. I also have friends that look 10 years younger than their age, and they are hale and hearty. In fact, one of my male friends looks 15 years younger than his age, his wife looks like his mum. It is the genes in their family.
Things do not necessarily need to have hidden stories. He may look old due to fasting etc.

Now is not the time for speculations. Rather, it is the time to have empathy on a couple who lost their child. Not on a pastor who lost his child but on a man and woman, irrespective of their profession, who lost a child.

  10. They should now grieve in private, after all the public display in trying to protect their brand.
All I saw on the TV is a young widow who does not know what she is in for emotionally.
May God wrap His healing hand around her and the children because they are most affected.
May God also comfort the parents and siblings too. So sad

    5. Anon 10.26 you said the obvious truth. There's nothing insensitive about what she said. When you say the truth you are insensitive it's well.

The worst thing to happen to parents is to bury their children or child. May God comfort the family at this time of their grief.

    6. Both of you are real not ok! Your hearts are as dark as they come.
What is the truth in saying they are grieving publicly to protect their brand? What stupid brand is a parent who has to bury their child thinking of?
If you don’t see the absurdity in making such a statement about a grieving family in the public eye, then you need to really examine your head and heart.

You do realize that all of these things they share is done with their church family and it is news outlets and bloggers that bring it as news for dumb outsiders to leave stupid comments on?
