Reverend Father Mbaka's Adoration Ministry Shut Down...

Enugu Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has announced a shutdown of the Adoration Ministry for a period of one month.

The ministry sent out a notice early Tuesday morning to this effect...

The message reads “Our Spiritual Director, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka wishes to inform his beloved adorers that he has embarked on a private prayer retreat that will end on 10th June 2021.

“Consequently, no ministry activities shall be held in the ministry ground pending his return.

“He directs that members of the ministry are to observe this period of his retreat as they used to do during the usual January breaks of the ministry, by praying at their homes, being charitable and fasting according to their ability. Adoration! Holy Spirit is our Power.”

    1. This man's only crime was support Buhari not Jubril. How was he supposed to know they will swap him with Jubril later on? Nawa

    2. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜ His only crime was coming out to say he bless Nnamdi Kanu and God should protect him. Again, kicking against the murder of Ikonso(HolyCup) The government threatened the Bishop and that was all you saw that happened.

When Mbaka spoke in favour of government, the church didn't invite him or react this way. So I am wondering what really does the church stands for.

    5. Teejay, no govt can threaten the CATHOLIC CHURCH,NONE. Mbaka crossed the line by becoming a partisan politician instead of being a priest.

There is difference with the way he criticizes govt as compared to Kukah, Okogie, Alaba Job, Kaigama etc. These sets of religious would not allow politicians mount the altar let alone give them mic to spew nonsense.

It is the bishop of Enugu dioceses I blame. He can't try all these nonsense in Lagos, them for done tame his wings.

It is not a church but an adoration ground, and it can be closed down for some time especially if or when the spiritual head is not available.

    2. Whether adoration or not, as far the Word of God is being preached and practised, you are not the owner, Jesus Christ is.

When they don't allow their members to pray for them but they believe only God can pray for them, this is what you get. He should know he is not the owner of that adoration ground but Jesus Christ

    4. Yori, it's not a church but his ministry. There's nothing wrong shutting it down in his absence. Pls endeavour to understand before dropping comments most times here.

    Only God is prefect.
When he is back he should draw line between him and the politicians.

  13. Teejay did you just say the government threatened the Catholic Church?funny. Do you know how many outstanding queries Mbaka has under Enugu diocese? He keeps going against his priestly vows etc. He is even lucky because their Bishop na gentleman sef. Make him try am with AJV Obinna of Owerri or the late Ochiagha of Orlu Diocese. Is he the only Priest that runs a ministry in Nigeria?
