President Buhari's Wife Aisha Deactivates Twitter Account.

Aisha Buhari has deactivated her Twitter account, in sympathy with the suspension of the microblogging social media platform, by her husband Buhari's administration.

In a tweet that has been alongside her account, Aisha announced the deactivation

“I will be deactivating my twitter account for now. Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria,” she tweeted.

She lost about one million people who followed her.

    1. Of what good was her Twitter account to Nigerians? Her husband made millions of Nigerians widows and childless. May Allah reward her and her family a thousand gold.

    1. Even if they know how to use VPN, if we see any of them tweeting especially those his praise singers Lai Mohammed, Lauretta Onochie, Adeshina, Keyamo. Including Adamu, that one I don't know his own. If we see them tweeting, we will protest! At least we will rest from those garbage they dish out to us everyday!

  9. You see this prompt action the federal government of Nigeria took against Twitter is an indictment on the FG itself. Government can promptly address an embarrassment but cannot address kidnappings and other ills in the country, buhari which way?

  10. It's the people that where following her that i blame. Following her for what exactly?

  11. Over bloated sense of importance. These guys think the world revolves around them.

  12. That is her cup of tea. If Nigeria is working the way we all desire, would this woman relocate to Dubai leaving her husband to fail? I doubt if that man in Aso rock is her husband anyway because no sane woman would leave her man and go stay in another country.

    1. You dont have a point.
Marriages all have trying times, and some women/men take a break, do you know how many women will leave their husbands to go chill somewhere if they could afford it? I'm not siding Aisha or the jubril/Buhari sha.

  14. Anno 10:51, you don’t have common sense. A First Lady of a country leaves for another because she needs a break for months? No wonder you have Buhari as a president.
It is well with you people. You all activate your plan B and come to countries where things work so you will know Nigeria has failed you.

  16. Most of those crying about Twitter don't have a twitter account. Most comments here are dropped by people from the south east, so it's not surprising. They have never liked the president and will never like him. Twitter should have deleted the tweets encouraging violence, burning federal buildings and secession . It was stupid to have deleted the president's tweets while leaving that of Kanu and his followers.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Why are you this daft? Is Kanu the president of Nigeria? Twitter had every right to delete that of Buhari. He is the president for crying out loud and he should not promote violence or war. Geez Caesar try and be objective it will help you.
