  1. I travelled to Nigeria from Europe last year, after 5 years. Took all the necessary precautions about not being loud, not telling people you’re coming, not wearing flashy clothes, not showing off or spending money unnecessarily. I really thought I was safe.

I then got a text message from my best friend’s brother, telling someone else how I was going to be at their place for child dedication the next Sunday and how they would be driving me home and the route they would take etc. He was supposed to send my number with the message to another person, but ended up sending the message to me. At that time, only 3 people had my number and my best friend was one of them.

I was supposed to be taken with my best friend’s brother to avoid suspicion.

I left Aba that day and left Nigeria the next day.

Both my so called best friend and his brother have never contacted me to ask why I left.

If I hadn’t received that email, I probably be would be dead now.

    5. Wow,thank God for allowing such error to occur on his part if not u wouldn’t have known about their evil intentions, the heart of man is desperately wicked and evil.thats how I read of a story about a man that came in from abroad (not sure of the country,he had foreign currency with him,he got into the Nigeria at night, and thought of going to a police station since he had a lot of money on him and he felt the police station is the best place to go to and he will be safe there till day break,he got there told the police men he just got into the country and he needed a place to stay for the night cos he had a lot of cash on him, and the police men that were on duty that night somehow connived and killed this man and shared his money amongst themselves.may God continue to protect us all.

One time a hired assassin was sent to kill my sister, instead he went to our house and told her who sent him holding her pic.

The person was a very close relative,he saw the pic and knew my sister as someone who helped him years back.
My sister that can't hurt a fly.

      Things are happening.

Anon 15:03, your story reinforces how God protects His children. What the enemies planned for bad, He turned for your good by exposing them and allowing you escape with your life. God be praised. May the wrath of God visit that your evil friend and her brother, Amen.

Tenth, all thanks to God for being there for your sister.

May God please continue to protect us and ours, Amen.

    14. Whaaat *goosebumps. But if you live abroad be careful of having Nigerian best friends. You may be kind and your heart pure, but you don't know for the other person. Some will be jealous, resent you, crave bad news about you just to feel good about themselves. Some feel you took their spot, especially if they are trying to relocate too but didn't get visa. Some just feel left behind. I assume this is your childhood friend or family friend so it may be hard. But my dear my childhood friend was jealous when I got my visa, and made hurtful comments. We are still friends, but I never reveal too much details. Funny enof last time I was in Naija I told her, but only after I arrived. Anyways, glad God saved you.

  5. That last paragraph is so apt. Ask questions and tell someone trustworthy about that job...

Above all involve the Holy spirit for He alone knows the intent of men, how? by having a relationship with Christ Jesus. Pray and pray, and if something feels fishy, it might just be a scam.

May God help this generation πŸ™πŸ™

  6. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. May all these evil doers meet their waterloo in different ways in Jesus name Amen.

  7. The problem with Nigerians esp job seekers is that they most times don't do due diligence.

It's not about informing your close friends or relatives... Google search of the company also helps.

If you have lawyer friends, they can help check on Corporate Affairs Commission website if it's a registered company or you do it yourself....it's free.
