  2. Onye dot i'bem, Elohim bless you. One thing is sacrosanct, Biafra will be restored. It doesn't matter what anyone does about it or say, it will eventually be restored at its appointed time. Biafra is already here and all we are anticipating is its restoration.

The protest today in Madrid is massive and haven't been seen before. Next week is US and these are the people the government labeled terrorist. Who's fooling who here? Why aren't the international communities clamping down on the 'terrorist'?

I'm a Biafran and owes no one any apology for saying so. We have crossed the Rubicon, the point of no return. It's either Biafra or Biafra.

You cannot destroy the hope and aspiration of a people destined for greatness, and expect them to bow down in servitude.

You cannot destroy a generation of people and expect them to not fight for their freedom. The power of the gun, state-sponsored terrorism will not achieve peace or the preservation of Nigeria.

    2. if Biafra Republic is about Kanu and Ipob group, it won't be possible even in hundred years. Only those who do not know what it takes to get Biafra Republic, make Kanu and Ipob noise. If getting Biafra Republic is that cheap the way Kanu under Ipob presented it, Igbos would have get Biafra Republic under Uwazurike Massob. My father said if I am told something is seven, I should count it before I put it in my pocket. If someone said he or she will get Biafra Republic, every intelligent person in Igboland who knows what it takes to get Biafra Republic, will ask the person the concept and strategies with which the person will get Biafra Republic. Kanu under Ipob said he will get Biafra Republic of eastern region via secession from Nigeria and without war. Anyone who knows what it takes to get Biafra Republic, know Biafra Republic of eastern region via secession from Nigeria and without war is Kindergarten fairytale. Uwazurike under Massob and Kanu under Ipob 21 years long said they will get Biafra Republic of eastern region via secession from Nigeria and without war. Where's the Biafra Republic of eastern region via secession from Nigeria and without war? Where's Uwazurike and his Massob? Where's Kanu and his Ipob? We the Group of Intellectuals: G-I made it clear about five years ago that Biafra Republic is only possible via Disintegration with War in which Biafra Republic of south east is one of the six sovereign states. Four years long, we fought the Disintegration War with Revolutionary Warfare and won in which Biafra Republic of south east is one of the six sovereign states. The map on Abaribe Dot Nation T-shirt is Biafra Republic of south east, not Biafra Republic of eastern region. Rita Edochie is in entertainment industry or business. She knows nothing about politics, know nothing about what it takes to get Biafra Republic, she is even blind not to see present reality- which is Biafra Republic of south east within Disintegrated Republics of this territory natives. Those among Igbos who knows what it takes to get Biafra Republic, stand for Biafra Republic of south east within Disintegrated Republics of this territory natives. Majority Igbos stand for Biafra Republic of south east within Disintegrated Republics of this territory natives. Biafra Republic of south east is not Kanu and his Ipob Biafra. It is Biafra Republic fought and won by Group of Intellectuals: G-I. Only the Sword decides.

    2. This woman called Rita is talking shit. I am Igbo and very proud to be one. But to think this woman even considers Nnamdi Kanu to be a leader is disappointing. She just gave our collective enemies a good reason to mock us. We have real leaders in Igbo land and Nnamdi Kanu is not one of them, God forbid. How many schools have Nnamdi Kanu built? How many hospitals, roads and other infrastructures? How has Nnamdi Kanu discouraged our teaming young men who trade in drugs in Asian countries. How has Nnamdi Kanu help with good governance in Igbo? Just tell me one good thing he has put into good use for the Igbo people. Certainly, he not my leader and that of my family. I agree, he leads IPOB but not Igbo people. Nnamdi Kanu has never been, will never be a leader of my people. If you talk about Peter Obi, prof. Barth Nnaji, Nnia Nwodu, Ken Nnamani and the likes, then yes, not a street gangster

    3. Keep deluding yourselves and living in a bubble. A little advice, your elders/ Upon leadership should recall all Igbos, make una go. We are tired of your childish noise. All of you should go back to the east, it is very easy. Some of you stay in the South West, South-south, north west, north east and North Central and be ranting about Biafra. Go back to the east, nobody is begging you to remain. When you go to the east next December, stay there and blow up the Asaba-Onistha bridge. Blow up the bridge linking the east to Benue, if there is a bridge. Declare Biafra and be gone for good. The earlier you all accept the fact that Biafra is dead the better for all of you. While behaving like victims, you people are responsible for the crisis we have in our nation. If Igbo officers didn't kill mostly northern military officers and politicians, south west officers and politicians while consumed by amnesia, we won't be where we are today. If Ironsi was not not blinded by ethnic loyalty and he tried those who participated in the January 1966 coup we won't be where we are today. If Ironsi didn't come with decree 34 with the help of Ben Nwanbueze we won't be where we are. If Ojukwu had listened to the voice of reason , we won't be where we are today. If it pleases you come under my comment to insult my person, it won't change the truth.

    5. Stop calling Ojukwu, please, he did not cause the war! Read about the war, Make enquiries about Kaduna Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna, Fajuyi and the killing of Sarduana etc., after that, read about Theophilus Danjuma and the killing of Aguiyi Ironsi! Stop calling Ojukwu's name he just intervened because of the killings of the easterners in the north (South/south included). Please carry your false hate filled story out of our space! Ojukwu put you in the situation where you are and what have you done to come out of that situation? Okay you have decided to remain in the potopoto where Ojukwu put you?

Do you have light in your location where you are? Do you have water running? Has the price of food reduced? Has Buhari visited you and told you that he will stop being one sided and consider your on interest? NO! Has Buhari come to tell you that he now loves Igbo because he caught the man disturbing him? 7. You forgot to add supreme leader. Biafra is dead, there will never be a country like that. Biafra surrendered to the federal government 51 years. Ojukwu was too ambitious to see beyond his nose. He saw Gowon as a junior officer he couldn't take instructions from. His pride stopped him from accepting the fact that it is the leaders of a successful couple that picks the new head of state. The pogrom was very unfortunate and inhumane. So was the victory party organised by Igbo officers after the death of the premier of the northern region. The mocking and humiliation of northerners by market women of Igbo origin was silly. Ojukwu knew the then eastern region was not prepared for war, they didn't have the military equipments, neither did they have money to buy military hardwares. A more rational person would have restrained himself after Rivers State was created for the eastern minorities. Today, they foolishly blame Gowon and Awolowo for starving them during the war. It was a war and it was not the responsibility of the federal government to feed them. But Gowon's administration made effort to supply food, Ojukwu insisted that the food be given to him to distribute. Federal government wanted to drop food by air and there was the fear that Ojukwu would use the food to feed his army if given the food. Nobody is blaming Ojukwu today for the starvation and death of his people. Now it's one riff raff called kanu that is deceiving them. A nonentity from no where who is feasting on the ignorance of his people.

    5. When did the Igbos come out to state their preference for Biafra?
Fair enough MNK desires Biafra but has he explained, cajoled or even reached out to convince his kin, or he has been dismissive of any Nigerian-leaning Igbo?
The day I had the opportunity to listen to "Leader", I just shook my head at the folly of those who believe a Biafra, if actualised, with MNK as leader would be eldorado.

A man who was released from prison on bail and immediately forgot about his fellow comrades in prison, never for one day campaigned for their release, leaving them to their fate; that one na leader?

The bitter truth is, Kanu is ready to sacrifice thousands of his people so far he gets his cherished Biafra from Nigeria. A Nigeria the Igbos have contributed to and are fellow tenants along with the Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba, Ijaw, Efik, etc.

Unfortunately for him, that time has passed; the Biafra ship has long sailed.

    6. But Alexander is not totally wrong na.
The bitter truth is the starvation of the Igbos was used for propaganda purposes by the Ojukwu leadership then (both sides resorted to propaganda it mist be pointed out).

All in all, the Igbos deserve their right share of this country and shall not be denied this right

    7. @anonymous 4:18... It's important to regard history with a clear and unbiased view. The IPOB apologists tend to have very short, selective memories. I've read and studied the civil war as an outsider and I lay a proportion of the blame of the suffering on their heads then. Ojukwu is not the hero he's presented as and the warning here is that 'THOSE WHO FORGET THE PAST ARE BOUND TO REPEAT IT'....

    8. Alexander you are a very dumb and ignorant writer! What caused the war? Why were the Bifrans starved? The war was not caused by Ojukwu, he only came to intervene in what was like a massacre of the Igbos in the north. About hunger, Awolowo said that the easterners should be starved, his idea was that hunger is a weapon of war! Nigeria was helped by Britain who said that no weapon should be supplied to both sides, but went and supplied Nigerian troops weapons from behind! In fact Russia was supplying them weapons through British alliance! The easterners fought the war with locally manufactured bombs by young Igbo undergraduates, that was how they were able to combat the Nigerian soldiers in areas they could not penetrate in the south east areas, they buried those bombs which caused land mines and cleared them in those areas. This is in the middle of the war when there was no hope of battling the Nigerians, those brilliant students started putting their brain to good use. How can you declare war on a people who said they want to leave following the killings meted on them? Read very well and stop bringing beer parlor story to mislead people on blogs! Ojukwu remains a hero who rather than bow in cowardice like he likes of Joe Igbokwe, decided to take his people with him. We will forever respect his person! He fought the war with his father's money, his father being one of the richest men in Africa then. Please we are not castigating your tribal heroes, please again don't talk about Ojukwu in that manner! He is the Ikemba Nnewi. Ike eji eje mba.

You guys know that we Igbos cherish ikemba Nnewi, anything to destroy him is what you are doing. Ojukwu remains the Igbo hero! We have not come to castigate Awolowo and say bad things about him because he is your hero, so leave Ojukwu alone, we love dearly and we are not begging you to love him with us! He was trying to give his people identity, a name an image!

    12. "about hunger, Awolowo said that the easterners should be starved,"

      Awolowo really said this?

      When?

Let's be logical here. If indeed Awolowo really said this, would Ojukwu have eulogised him when he died? At least, i was alive to witness the accolades that Ojukwu paid him.

A lot of propaganda was (understandably)thrown about to make the Igbos feel good e.g. Igbos fought the war without any help - false, they had foreign mercenaries, etc

      Delete
    13. So why did they starve the easterners, and I quote " Hunger is a weapon of war" by Awolowo! Ask anybody who knows the history of the war.

    14. If they had foreign mercenaries, name them!

    15. @Anon 20:25, The Nigerian government and some Nigerian military leaders stated the threat of genocide was fabricated and was "misguided humanitarian rubbish." They also said that mass starvation was an intended goal, saying "If the children must die first, then that is too bad, just too bad, "[49] and "All is fair in war, and starvation is one of the weapons of war." According to Wikipedia.

    16. Food that was being allowed into Biafra for civilians was being seized by Biafran soldiers so the Federal government stopped saying it cannot feed the soldiers who were fighting against it. Nobody in the world does that.
Ojukwu deliberately encouraged the situation because he saw that pictures of starving children was a good propaganda weapon. Why did we not see pictures of starving soldiers? If soldiers were well fed, why was it difficult to feed the children? There were many instances were Biafran soldiers deprived their civilians populace of food, who do you blame in that situation, Gowon?
The Igbos were the only major group in the country who were against the inclusion of secession clause in the Constitution. Why?
Awolowo, Enahoro, and even Ahmadu Bello all at various times asked for such a clause to be included so that any section can leave the union anytime they were aggrieved. Azikiwe and his people opposed it. In fact it was what made Enahoro to leave Zik’s camp and join Awolowo’s. After 1966 Ironsi (with the help of another Igbo brother - Ben Nwabueze- abrogated the existing independence of the regions and turned the country into a Unitary government which the northerners have been using to their advantage since then! Who is to blame?
Is it not rather ironic that it is the same Igbos who are now agitating for Biafra or that the country be restructured?
Before some ignorant person comes here to spew nonsense, WHY NOT FIRST OF ALL READ A BOOK!

      Delete
    17. The air raids mounted by Biafra in Lagos and other areas were executed by who? Cant remember the chap's name now. Please ask around.

Anon 21.56 didnt answer my question: if Awolowo did all the things claimed to him, why then did Ojukwu eulogise him when he died?? Was Ojukwu being hypocritical?

It is understandable some may have a blinkered view of the war, but, at the same time, let reason and logic prevail. It was not every Igbo that supported the call to arms, at the onset of the war - but you never hear their stories or how they felt going to war, at that time, was necessary.

I know someone, a science graduate, who proudly pronounced how palm oil was turned into fuel during the war - a showcase of Igbo ingenuity!

It is really unfortunate a number of misleading or downright false stories about the war and the events leading to it have tarried over the years.

    2. Iyke Desmond, 'never do wells' like you come to blogs and run men who are doing well down out of jealousy. Obi Cubana is the man you can never be in your million years. He is a graduate of political science from the university of Nigeria Nsukka. He went into hospitality business and established Cubana group which has clubs for lounge in different cities of Nigeria, Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, Port Harcourt, Owerri with plans to expand overseas. What makes him a bad person? He has helped a raise people, done a lot to his community and friends the reason you saw what happened last weekend. As for his friends you saw last weekend, they are all legit business men who made money from their sweat. It is only jealous people who are struggling with witch craft/poverty that sees men who have gone through a lot to make money and call them all sorts of names. So many of those guys are educated men, some are real estate moguls, some are into dredging, some are into road construction, while some of them are into importation. Stella posted a list of the names of his friends that gave him money, go through and check them out, since you have time to damage successful people! As for Nnamdi Kanu, love him or hate him, he is an erudite guy. He has a passion and he is bent on achieving it. If there is something Nnamdi Kanu has done today, he has brought back the Igbo language and the 'Igboness' that was almost dying. He has to an extent brought back the relationship between the Igbos and their brothers from the coastal area (south/south) making them realize that they are one, a relationship people like you killed with propaganda! Nnamdi kanu is educated, studied in both Nigeria and London, he is also of a royal lineage, has impacted his followers, gained a lot of people who believe in what he is saying. He has given hope to many people who lost hope and thought that they were living in a Fulani caliphate colony. He has created a situation where people now question their heritage, ask questions about how resources are being distributed. He has created a platform where people can be able to talk and hold their leaders accountable. Because of him, governors are questioning some policies that are the FG is making that are lopsided. Tribes are now waking up from sleep and fighting off nomadic invaders. He has called young men and women and made them realize that you are the natives, the nomads from the sahel will not run you out! Hate him or like him, you cannot do what he did and is still doing. They drove away fulani invasion into east! He believes in his ideology of pulling the old eastern region out of Nigeria so that they can be self determined, he has remained consistent that even threats and AK 47 is not stopping him. Can you pull do that? A man who even in detention is gaining more followers and a movement he leads is going stronger and even gaining more grounds while he is in detention, can you pull that? People like you come to blogs and run others down because you have failed in all your endeavors. You guys spent three years calling Kanu 'coward', but Igboho ran away and nobody is calling him a coward! I thought when you see Nigerian terrorist soldiers coming to kill you, you stand and let them kill you so that your dreams and aspirations of getting your nation will die. Nigerian soldiers who go to people's homes to shoot unarmed people, but don't go to wars, they can't even battle boko haram nor bandits. I repeat the two men you mentioned up there are two people you can unlace their shoes! You are just a rabble rouser, a paid online propagandist.

  14. Nothing to fear from a country of traders, which means people who believe in instantaneous PRIVATE wealth. Such people would rarely invest in ventures that requires, say 10 years, before it starts paying off. Ironically that is what actually DEVELOPS a country, not importation and sales of goods produced in other countries! Which country has developed solely by importing goods from abroad?
If everyone is selling, who will be the buyers? That is why Igbo traders mostly settle and do business outside of Igboland because that is where the buyers are! Igbos need other Nigerians more than other Nigerians need them. Sensible Igbos know this which is why the very talk of Biafra is an anathema to them.

    ReplyDelete

    1. So with all these rubbish you typed up there you feel you have made sense? To start with it is not every Igbo person is a trader (trading is good by the way) Amazon is a trader also and he is the richest man on planet earth. Amazon start online trading and that made him the richest man alive today! That said, Igbos have innovators, I mean car makers. Igbos have merchants in every aspects of business. Igbos have more scientists than any part of the country, I have proofs, both those living outside Nigeria. Igbos are manufacturers, if you doubt me you go to Aba. We have educationists when you come to education, at least, check your record, Imo state comes on top every year in WAEC, JAMB, sometimes they switch with Ondo/Ekiti, check your records please. Igbos have doctors, engineers, novelists of international repute. Entrepreneurs in real estate, hotelier, tech companies, manufacturers! It is wrong for you to say we only trade on what we import from outside. Aba was also called the Japan of Africa that year! For the records, having your own country does not equal to cutting ties with other countries which means that even with Biafra as a country you can still transact business with Nigerians, Ghana, Togo, South Africa etc. Many Nigerians have businesses in other parts of Africa. People should reason with their senses and not with their hate. I love my brothers who are into buying and selling and they are doing it well and with ingenuity. More so, Igbos help build each other, they don't get rich alone. The reason why you see a lot of them gathering together and doing big things, is that they help each other. You can say we are not united all you can, but we Igbos help raise each other up. You see a rich man come home and when going back to the city he will pick two boys from the village with him to go and help make them rich so that he will not be the only rich person in his family. He will either train them in his line of business or show them another line of business, because we believe in 'ummunna' (communal life). Saying that Igbos believe in instantaneous wealth is not just dumb, but hate. An Igbo trader will serve his boss for seven years, get settled, starts his own and put his time and efforts to build it gradually until it stands, and that means instantaneous wealth to you right? If Igbos leaving Nigeria hurts you so much, please this your argument here is wack! It will not stop a moving train. By the way you sound so hateful, why would you want to be with a people you hate so much?
