  1. The people that said if you must drive, don't drink, and if you drink don't drive, know why they said so. I pray God console their families.

    1. I go to a club with you.
Stay for hours most probably during which we drink and scream and get drunk.
Then I enter that same car with you in your drunk state to drive me home.
      Ahhhh. Nawa.

I’m not saying I won’t enter, I’m just outlining this whole situation and asking myself that if I was one of those girls, at what point would I have opted out or insisted for another person to drive or for us to hail a cab.

May enjoyment no kill us in Jesus name.

    3. Middle of the night with little or no option to leave the club, you'd most likely tag along.

    5. Samurai have some much needed common sense. Very silly and irrelevant hashtag at a time like this.
Who told you introverts dont go to clubs?
Who told you they weren't celebrating something and just decided to do something different?

      Rest in piece young ones!

  8. This is so sad. Reminded me of an accident in Jos, that claimed the lives of some students, returning from a party. One was a final year law student. Same thing.. Drunk driver, rammed into a disabled truck.

  10. One body was badly damaged to the point of brains pouring out, he had to be buried the nxt day. The stories I've heard about that Kelvin isnt pleasant at all, but may their souls rest in peace.
One persons poor choice and recklessness can cause tragedy for others, wrong crowd has never brought anything positive.
A wise 98yr old man said " You cant keep clean reputation hanging out with messy people" ...he ws right.

Never liked clubbing. Though how sweet the fun is, nature will always take its cause. Sleep and tiredness creeps in. So sad

  13. Aanu ni mo ri gba

Years back,we gathered ourselves from school and went to Alesh Hotel for a birthday party which turned out to be a night party at the club.

We enjoyed ourselves and we were so drunk which we all knew that but I was led by the spirit not to tag along the same bus we came with(We went to the club with over 6buses including SUG bus which I was the driver).

I opened up to them and told them,I won't be able to drive else we have to wait till 7am to make my eyes clear but they refused. I alighted and gave them the key and called my then lover to alight and we paid for room and what happens in the room becomes a story for another day.

It was exactly 5:30am when my phone rang and was informed that they all had an accident on the 3rd main land bridge, that, it was the guide on the bridge that stopped the bus,if not, they would have been in that water.

I thought the caller was joking u til I left the hotel around 9am in the morning and off to campus,on getting to akoka, I saw some of my course mate telling me that most of them on that bus are receiving treatment at gbagada general hospital. I got there and wept, cuz some had their head stitched, some had their back stitched, to make the matter worst, some had to allow the doctor cut out off the flesh they have on their yansh to fill some part of their body.

Since then, have always being giving thanks to God and I don't ever try to drink while driving or drive while drunk

  16. It's so sad. These things happen all the time and people need to realize that drinking and driving don't go together.
I remember the day I got a call from my friend saying that I overtook him and drove dangerously one night on my way home. I didn't even realize it. I was coming from a sitout with my friends where we had so much to drink.
I dey run away from drinks now.
    My life is precious abeg
