  4. Hard to find a genuine leader in Nigeria, infact Africa as a whole, the corruption runs deep! Yet their level of religious practice is top notch

  7. But what I can't get is why they need to steal soooo much. Who needs 5.2 bn? Most ppl just want a good paying job, a home of their own, money stashed away if they get ill, and the ability to send their children to school stress free. These crooks are stealing as though they will live for 1000 yrs.

How many poor students did he send to school? How many communities did he build a clinic for, a school? How many widows did he help? Ask them what they did with the money and not one good thing can be named, not one suffering person they can bring forward whose life they transformed. Not even their household staff got the opportunity to be uplifted. They can neither face man or God. If you gonna be a crook then do some good too, balance it so God and even the judge may have mercy on you.

    1. Such 'good' is not acceptable to God. The same principle applies as in the verse below.

      Deut 23:18
You shall not bring the earnings of a prostitute or the money for a dog into the house of the LORD your God as payment for any vowed offering, because both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God.

    2. Anon 17:59, read what I wrote carefully. I did not mention anything about offerings or acceptability, I wrote, "MERCY" and also "MAY". Meaning the mercy is not guaranteed, but you stand a better chance of getting it if you do some good than if you don't.
