The Lagos House of Assembly on Monday July 5,2021 passed an amended version of the Criminal Justice Law of the state barring the police from parading suspects before the media..

According to the Punch, the bill was passed through voice votes conducted by the Deputy Speaker, Wasiu Eshilokun-Sanni, who presided over the plenary session on Monday.
Eshilokun-Sanni said Section 9(A) of the newly passed bill states that, “as from the commencement of this law, the police shall refrain from parading any suspect before the media.

What you think about this?

  1. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't know hink it's a good idea cuz these people amend and pass a bill that can be of benefit to them and not us

  2. Chidinma has become a celeb since the news broke, doesn’t make any sense. Good decision, Lagos 👍🏾

  3. Way to go.because they parade bother the innocent and also give those involved head way

  4. I totally concur. Only convicted criminals should be paraded. Innocent until proven guilty

  5. I love this news.
Some are innocent of the offences.

  6. This is the best bill to come out of the Lagos state house of assembly. The law presumes every suspect innocent until proven guilty in a court of competent jurisdiction, why allow police to parade suspects? A man was paraded recently, he had to fight to prove his innocence. This is a welcome development

He can sue the police to compensate him. A welcome development for sure

  7. I agree. Parade them when found guilty.

Good. Its very wrong. Media trial and sensationalism does not help. On a good day, the police is to heavily compensate those suspects that are discharged and acquitted. Great job

  9. Most welcomed bill.
All thanks to chidinnma with her sweet pussy

  10. This is great, they are nothing but suspects.

  11. No be like say dem even parade the Chidinma wella, sef. Till now I can hardly tell what she looks like. Her face is always covered. Women are constantly given preferential treatment. See as the Bill against parade don quickly fly comot from Assembly on account of woman. Don't be surprised if they let her off the hook, las las. Men being suckers for women since Adam. It can be annoying.
