Big Brother Naija Show Is The Most Viewed Show In Nigeria Despite Complains To Ban The Show..

The Big brother Naija reality show is presently the most watched TV show in Nigeria at the moment despite calls for its ban year after year since the show kicked off with season two.

Some Nigerians have argued that the Big Brother naija season 6 show is full of unholy content, and should be banned but some other Nigerians have revealed that they watch the reality TV show despite criticism to reduce depression caused by the chaos in the Country...

Do you agree?

I used to ask the show be banned but now I am indifferent because it is the only post that makes people happy, they argue in the comment section and forget Nigeria's woes for a second.

What is your Opinion!

  1. I am indifferent, whatever, I only watch it here and.when I sit to eat. That's all. It does contain a.lot of indecency but you can choose not to look.

  2. Still trying to understand what makes this show bad, everything going on there is what happens in our daily lives, plus the show is rated 18, and let's not forget how the show is giving this youth a chance for greatness.

  3. Hypocrisy will not kill my country people. Will banning of the show stop tribalism, religious bigotry, pedophilia practices, rapes, insecurities, terrorism, unemployment, bad governance et all? How is the show affecting anyone and how is the numerous religious Channels and places of praye/worship affecting people in the country too? Is BBN Nigerias problem? Misplaced priorities every nuc and cranny of this country. I am not depressed o biko, watching the show this year because i love the show, not for depression or anything related to that. I love what i'm watching.

  4. The show is quite interesting and helps us to forget the leadership problems we have in Nigeria for a while. I don't think it can be banned since Government officials watch the programme and send their children to the show. What the government cannot provide for the youth, the show provides it

  5. I am indifferent too, people like talking from both sides of their mouth.
I stumbled on a teachers reality show on one of the channels last week and was surprised nobody has been talking about it, including the aunty here always criticising BBN.
People keep talking but end up voting out the cerebral and morally upright ones early in the show.
Woo don't mind us, Nigerians low key enjoy all the immorality and shebang going on there, else why do people stay up to watch them sleep?

  6. One word, hypocrisy!! Like that one that is always bashing the show here, but can never skip a post that's bbn related.

  7. I still don't understand what makes the show bad. The house is a reflection of how most people live their lives plus the show is rated 18. It's not compulsory for anyone to watch. If anyone feels it's immoral or whatever they can decide not to watch.

  8. So long as it's not showing on NTA, those calling for it's ban can keep wailing. You will never see BBN on your screen unless you tune to the channel.

I had an arguement with a friend during pepper dem, she kept going on and on about how BBN corrupts people, I asked her to name one vice she learnt from BBN that she didnt know prior to watching it and she's yet to give an answer 2yrs later.

If BBN is not your thing, good for you. Allow those who enjoy it watch in peace.

  9. I don't watch the show but I definitely won't call for the ban. But somehow Sha, I sort of lose respect for a guy that is an ardent follower of the show. I see him as one shallow and weak person. Thankfully for me, the guys around me don't watch it .

  10. Nigerians are the most hypocritical set of people then?
Because, the "blatant ("f") kind of congregations" are the most patronized of congregations
in Nigeria, at home and in the diaspora. But here is the deal...

    2 Timothy 2:19 For the foundation of the Lord's house stands sure with this inscription;
the Lord knows those that are his, therefore let those that name the name of the Lord
    depart from iniquity"

    1. Better watching indecency than killing innocent souls for fun in the name of your God, I wonder which is worse. Look at you trying to make it look like Muslim are more morally upright than christians
Personally don't watch the show not because I think it's immoral, I'm not into any kind of reality shows

  13. Of course. Who doesn't know Nigerians are the world's greatest hypocrites?

The same way our streets are full of churches yet google search shows that we are among the world's highest viewers of pornography.

  14. I don't know why they are calling for it's ban. It's on paid TV. You pay for what you watch. It's not by force. Since the show started I have not watched it for reason best known to me. And i will never call for it's ban because we are in a capitalist state. Everybody dey hustle for himself. As long as it's legit. If you want to spoil or entertained by the show,go ahead.

  21. ****@ 13.48, I like reading your comments. Truly God knows HIS people. But any way you slice it, Nigerians generally are "the most happiest people in the world" maybe because they are generally the most hypocritical.
