Agreed! Every State should have its own police. The current structure is not working esp where you send an Hausa Man to control the affairs in the East.
ReplyDeleteThe result is chaos and innocents are dying because of it.
In saner countries, the states have their own police...employed and paid by the state. Each state have policies in place to regulate the actions of the police where the citizens are concerned so why not do the same?
The Nigerian govt esp this current one wants to play God by controlling all facets of security. They want to determine which "tribe" gets employed...that's why it won't happen.
