  1. This is what Apostle Joshua Selman has been teaching,

Honouring people is a pathway to Favour.

Hope he has learnt his lesson.

    1. Efe didn't have good advisers after collection the money, his arrogance/pride was raised to power 1000. The sudden fame and (small) money really got to his head. He shut out everyone... fellow housemates, friends, fans,he didn't even attend their reunion. I remember him saying if the fans like, they should listen to his music,if they don't, they should gettat.

Oh well. I hope he is forgiven

Very arrogant person.his arrogance started after he won that year BBN by unfollowing all those that have been following him before now.

  2. The problem with this big brother yeyebrities is that they think they have one ‘fame’ that came from somewhere. They can NEVER be bigger than the show. Nobody knew or cared about them before bbnaija gave them a helping hand. They will now come out and start feeling like their fame is independent of the show. 😂 jokers. That’s why the fame doesn’t last and they have just one year to make good use of it.

      It's all pride.
Not judging him by that alone, but other instances of him displaying pride

  4. Actually, not everyone likes media attention, but the average attention
thirsty person will find it hard to believe that.

  8. Even during the show, i always knew Efe was a pretender, his pride and arrogance were masked in his fake poverty background narrative he used in garnering sympathy from Nigerians during the show. I hope he gets the forgiveness from Multichoice and John Ugbe.

  14. That's why Multichoice will forever be proud of the record breaker Mercy Eke. She is always grateful and super appreciative for the platform she was given and has exceeded all expectations.
Pro tip: dont ever feel like you are bigger than the show that shot you to fame no matter how successful you think you are afterwards. look at Ebuka, who has grown since the show gave him a platform more than a decade ago. He is still grateful to them. Gratitude is a must.

  18. Nigerians are always moved by sob stories of suffering and hard life. It gets them everytime even in politics,d boy with no shoes Jona,Buhari being too "poor"to buy form.
Instead of giving support to ppl who are actually worthy,we are easily moved by stories of suffering even if d person cant do d job. But as soon as u come with stories of ur parents being rich or growing up abroad etc...the person isnt even giving a chance. Talk abt ur regular life and u are called proud, boasful but talk abt poverty u are called "real".
Many ppl are actually humble when they lack, dat humbleness disappears soon as they come across some change.

    1. B&R, I completely agree with you.

This is the reason it's easier to make friends with people who have a similar background and level of exposure.

Btw, it's humility, not humbleness and given, not giving.

    2. Whitney had the same sob stories .

    4. Honestly, alot of humility we see in people is caused by poverty. And the problem with such people is that the moment they see SMALL they forget that people have seen more than that. They start over blowing it.

I used to be moved by sob stories before. But now, when people come to me with woe-is-me attitude, i pray for and release them. I don't bother trying for them because 9.9/10 times....they only want an opportunity to bring out their true nature.

Efe Don see poverty soteeeey e see small call am giant. This is why God doesn't give some people wealth/fame. Many don't know how to handle it.

  21. Even if they blacklisted him, was he producing great music that could attract people’s attention? Bbnaija fame is for just one year. What you do with it is left to you. After the initial one year, your engagement will become low and you will have to put in the work. I for one cannot stream Efe’s music. So put blacklist aside, he didn’t put in the work.

  28. I saw through him during his season. I wasn't fooled by his fake humility on the show. I am not suprised that he turned out to be exactly what I thought he was.

  29. Hmmm. The way you people are rejoicing at or justifying the shutdown of a person's source of income. How would you feel if you or your husband are blacklisted from the industry you work in just because you offended one person?

    1. Most people generally have a very very dark heart.
They will shout congratulation but trust me, their personal hope and prayer is that you fail.
That is why they get so excited when people make mistakes. Ypu will never see them give constructive criticism on how to do better and lift a helping hand, instead you will see them repeating the same insult day and day after day, hoping they can break and diminish the person.
      Such sad,pitiable,small,limited minded persons.

  30. Now we can see why multichoice doesnt joke with mercy eke and laycon. Humility wan finish those ones. Very grateful to them.

This entertainment industry is about who you know. Multichoice is like the power house of entertainment industry in most africa countries especially nigeria.

Well, i hear say na lappy him dey carry now. May GOD help him.

  32. mehnn this is sad but pathetic at the same time cause he's the sole cause of all this, humility is a word that's easily pronounced but hardly practiced... If only we all knew the heights we could attain in life with just a little bit of humility... I wish him the best anyways..
