  1. Practice Eternal Life!!
    1 John 5:11.

    Excerpts!!

"1 Timothy 4:15 says, meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them... The expression Meditate upon is maleto(Greek), and it also means to practise"

"It's important you learn to live the life that God has given you; practice it. Remember, when you were a child, you had to be taught how to talk and walk like humans, and you didnt perfect it overnight but grew through practice into perfection"

"Likewise, now that you're born again, practice living the divine life. Superimpose the power of that life over your physical body by meditation, prayer(especially praying in the Spirit), and by constant affirmation of the Word of God"

    Confession!!

Eternal life is at work in me; every facet of my being is inundated with, and supplanted by the divine life. I live above the rudiments and corrupting forces of this present world of darkness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  2. LEARN TO BE ALONE WITH GOD.

'Moses may come near the Lord, but the others may not.' Exodus 24:2 GWT

It's essential to be alone with God in order to hear clearly from him. For a generation reliant on mobile phones and bombarded by round-the-clock media, this can be a tough concept to grasp. But until you do, you'll get nowhere spiritually. Are you serious about following Jesus? Then follow his example. He 'often withdrew...and prayed' (Luke 5:16 NIV). He 'went up on a mountainside by himself to pray' (Matthew 14:23 NIV).
How did Jacob the deceiver become 'Israel, a prince with God' (see Genesis 32:28)? The Bible says he 'was left alone, and a man (the Angel of the Lord) wrestled with him till daybreak' (Genesis 32:24 NIV). The greatest spiritual victories come from the battles God calls you to fight when you're alone with him. He outlines and clarifies his plans for your life when there's nobody else around. That's because he wants you to be more influenced by him than them. When God is grooming you for a special assignment, you'll be required to spend time outside the company of others. In Exodus God said, 'Moses may come near the Lord, but the others may not' (Exodus 24:2 GWT). After Elijah spent the night alone in a cave, God told him, 'Go out and stand on the mountain...for the Lord is about to pass by' (1 Kings 19:11 NIV). Daniel 'was left alone, gazing at this great vision' (Daniel 10:8 NIV). Jeremiah wrote, 'I sat alone because your hand was on me' (Jeremiah 15:17 NIV).
Learn the difference between loneliness and solitude. When God sidelines you, glean all you can from the experience and move to your next level with him.

  7. I want to do change of surname.
After the whole stress of affidavit and newspaper publication, my bank is telling me I cannot change name except on grounds of marriage.
They did not tell me that from the onset and asked me to swear affidavit and all.
My surname is an obstacle and I've dumped it and it's just this bank thing that wants to force me stuck with this good for nothing name and all my new credentials are bearing my new surname which is my father's name.

So, someone cannot modify their BVN details by choice?
That is they are forcing me to go and marry now?

I don't want marriage, all I want is change that damned grandpapa name but it seems I'll reconsider in order to get all my details accurate.

Now I cannot do my NIN and other things because the surname I used in registering my sim card is different from the one on my bank details.

    For once, I detest modernization!
    WTF!!!

    1. The law is from CBN not from bank, alot of people has been changing names like is no man business. CBN decided to stop the name changing, you should consider getting married to achieve name changing since is your only reason of getting married just make sure you tell someone's son you only need his surname and nothing more before you suffocate him.

    3. 8:06 I plan to change surname too. Please go ahead and stick to your new name. Don't let all these archaic processes created to frustrate rather than assist citizens, stop you.
You can upgrade your sim details. Get an affidavit and take to your telco office. Simple.
      It is your constitutional right.
As long as you have your affidavit, you are good to go.
Don't let useless bottlenecks frustrate you and prevent you from answering the name you desire.

    6. 8:39, it won't work, her BVN carries her old name so even if she goes to another planet and opens an account in another Bank, it will still carry her old surname since the BVN will be linked to the new account.
Poster, go to another branch of that bank, a bigger Branch or look for someone who knows a senior officer in the bank, they will resolve it

Wow! really? But they told me there's nothing that could be done about it except on grounds of marriage.
I wanted to close my accounts and open new one but they said the BVN details cannot be closed.

Thanks to you all, let me see what I can do about it.
I truly appreciate you all and your contributions.

    12. 11:13, you didn't explain well. NIN is needed if you don't have voters card or drivers license or int'l passport that you can use in the bank that carries your new name,if you have a means of ID, you don't need the NIN now but you will still need to rectify your NIN for future use. If you have not done it already, go to NIMC office and tell them you want to change your surname, you will do modification of name, they will explain the process to you. I also did change of name back then.

Saw a yoruba movie on YouTube yesternight. The couples had been trying for a baby for a while to no avail then robbers attacked them at home. Two out of four robbers raped the wife and left.

After three months, she was confirmed pregnant and the hubby insisted they must terminate. The wife said No she wont that they have been looking for child all this while. He eventually sent her packing. What a dilemma. But really, stories like that happens.

They had also been ttcing for many years. After the baby was born, certain incidents led the man to conduct a DNA and it came back positive. The child was his. Before then, the mother didn't feel much love towards the child. She was traumatized mehn. That movie moved me, kai.

  12. Good morning beautiful people
Last night, my 9yr old daughter who is in Jss1 wanted to bathe, I supervised her, it's been a while I supervise her bathing. When it got to whee she would wash her privates, she used only water to do so. I told her to use soap, she refused, I had to force her, I even spanked her for disobeying my order. When we left the bathroom, I asked her why she refused to use soap as I taught her from small, she said they told them in her SCHOOL not to use soap because if they don't wash off the soap well, it may stay in their privates and cause infection. I was angry but managed to control myself. I told her that if she doesn't use soap, her privates will stink over time, I told her that I have been using soap since I started bathing by myself and there is nothing wrong with my privates, I make sure I rinse it well. I told her that they are not always right in schools and she should tell me whatever they tell them in school that is different from what I taught her.
I remember I once tried to wash my privates with only water one time like that to see what it will be like, I was not satisfied, it wasn't clean enough so I'm not gonna allow any "woke" view to make any of my children stink.

    1. I'm sorry to say this but your daughter is right. Using soap to wash the vagina is not advisable cos it can expose it to infections when she uses a toilet that is different from the one her body is used to. Soap usage down there doesn't work for everyone. Other BVs will tell you more, I believe.

Sorry if you don't like my comment.

    2. Madam your daughter is very correct using soap to wash your private is very wrong and could cause infection. Visit a good doctor today and confirm especially when you use those organic skincare products that has enough chemicals.

Please go back to your drawing board and learn more so that you can correct your daughter on love. Stop using harsh words to teach a child something, more live and patient will give you the out result.

    7. Lol. Sha know the difference between the vagina and the labia, e get why. Some people mistake the whole pussy area for the vagina. The labia needs mild soap and water to keep clean. those thick lips cannot be cleaned
With just water esp if you sweat a lot. It will stink with time.

It's the vagina(pussy hole) that cleans itself hence doctors advice that you dont dip your fingers inside to wash. I don talk my own ooo

    8. She is so right, please apologize for beating her.

I think you and your daughter/teacher are misunderstanding each other.

You can wash the vulva with soap and water but you can only wash your vagina with water.

      Know the difference, please.

Besides, there's no how your 9yrs old daughter can wash her vagina. Impossible!

Though, I know some teachers do not really understand what they are teaching their pupils/students so I won't be surprised if truly that teacher doesn't use soap to wash her vulva.

But madam, you gat to be calming down.

You don't need to always beat your child to pass a message across.

    14. I'm the poster, thanks all for your input. Miss Aboki, Phoenix, Anon 9:43 and others who understand that the vulva should be washed with a mild Soap, pls keep educating those who don't know the difference. I warned her not to dip her hand or use soap near the 'hole', showed her how to wash the outer side and use sponge to scrub the folds that links the thighs and also scrub her under-thighs, this will keep that place neat and smelling well. The folds that links the thighs and under thighs will not be dark too.

      Delete
    15. Madam poster 10:22 if you'd add this comment to your first comment will anyone counter the comment?

Using sponge to scrub thighs does not stop the thigh from getting dark.

    16. you are right that the vagina (the hole...lol) should not be washed with soap...but even the normal soap we use is not also meant for the vulva (the outer area). there are feminine washes with the appropriate PH balance to use for the vulva...some of these bathing soaps are harsh and even strip the vagina of the healthy bacteria and you end up getting thrush or other kinds of infection.. poster you might just buy her a good feminine wash and let her use it even if not everyday and she will be fine. my girls are 7 and they wash the vulva and anal area with only water. they bathe themselves most times but I stand there and make sure I pour enough water for them to wash the area clean. we use feminine wash for them like once a week when I do some serious body scrubbing. lol

      Delete
    17. Baby Oku You can use soap for your Vulva..Ask any doctor or health service provider and they are even against one using feminine wash...The key word here is MILD or TOILET SOAP...

  19. Hello Sponty post.

The question is, how does a woman allegedly cheating on Tv affect your fidelity or your structure as a woman or a man.

The follow up questions are, why are the women majorly the ones asking for her crucifixion.

Her husband admitted to cheating on their matrimonial bed yet the ones throwing stones can't even pause and think.

You guys are the bitter, evil and wretched ones. There is nothing sanctimonious about the people condemning Tega and not her husband. Bunch of bitter degenerates trying so hard to form righteous.

If there is anyone to be mad, it's left for her husband. Cheating irrespective of the gender involved hurts. It's left for their family to tackle the issue.

This goes to show that your WIFE is another man's spec whether you like it or not. Treat her with care. Some married women have been neglected and abused so much that they think being abused is virtuous and it will gain them a place in heaven. No ma, the bitterness of being abused can get you to hell fire.

There would have been a moral lesson to this so Nigerian men can value their wives but no, the most abused and neglected women are busy trolling Tega yet their husbands hardly come home.

As for the one talking about the young daughters. No matter how you protect them, the world will be waiting for them so it's the foundation you gave them that will determine what direction they will take.

Tega found succour the way she seemed fit. That's why staying with a cheating husband is bad. One day you may be left alone with a virile young man who is attracted to you because there is an emotional disconnect in the marriage, you may succumb.

To end this, one notable shallow minded idiot will attempt to curse, let your children be like Tega and think in her mind that she has landed one big curse but unfortunately for her, her children may never be the woman Tega is.

I stand for Tega. If God doesn't condemn her. I will never condemn her.

    Have a lovely day.

    3. I will never condone adultery man or woman however I have come this far in my relationship with God to know that he corrects in love while he expects that behavior to be stopped. He knew stoning the woman who was caught in adultery will not make her have a change of heart, but when she knows that God loves her and is ready to forgive her she will decide to be a better person knowing she is not too far gone to receive mercy.. people are too toxic these days and just too insultive, bitter, rude name it...how can you come up every day and keep insulting and insulting and saying bitter words to a person. yes we have condemned that she did wrong and except she has coconut head knows she messed up. but must you keep going on and on about it? I dont watch BBN but I read what she did on SM. since then every post about Tega same criticisms, same insult day in day out. Haba I bet some people who insult her the most have done worse and they themselves are products of their mothers adulterous relationships. some of the insults i read just make you wonder if she even offended some people personally or what she did reduced their bank balance...honestly the way some people comment just shows they were badly raised without manners and from parents who insulted them constantly...then if you call yourself a Christian and you are always on social media leaving toxic comments then you need to reflect on your walk with God. God corrects in love. Only the Holy spirit changes people not insults, trolling, curses' bullying, wishing them death or whatever people use SM for these days. If you dont agree with what someone says just scroll past or criticize constructively without insults or curses. If you are constantly insulting people, bullying or trolling online then you have a problem, take it or leave it. fix yourself..

I hope she heals and learns from this but I will never join the bandwagon calling for her head. I didn’t walk on myself to come on Social media hating, crucifying and mocking someone who doesn’t even know I exist.

    5. 9:29, nobody is justifying what she did the last time I checked but you all sinners should free her. Her sin is not greater than yours that is judging her. Leave your own life and be focusing on someone's life.

Free her. She owes no one except God and her family an apology.

I'm a married woman. If you like call me cheat too,na you sabi

    6. 9:29 you still do not get it do you? nobody said what she did is right but must you continue to insult her for the rest of her life? some of you are sad and bitter so others must constantly pay for that everyday of their lives. so Tega should be beheaded so the every day insults will stop? let her breathe...she messed up, we have told her so next time you see a post on tega just scroll past. simple.

    5. I didn't see any where choco baiby said anyone should wear high heels.

I know she suggested that more effort could have been made...

It's an opinion, one that she is entitled to. No need taking offence...

The world we live in is motivated by good looks and good grooming. I've seen people lose jobs and opportunities because of their appearance or because they dont have 'the look'.

      Sad but true.

So if the advice she gave resonates with you take it and apply it where necessary, if it doesn't, press ignore.

No one ever loses by putting their very best foot forward.

  28. THE MYSTERY OF SILENCE

A seed grows with no sound, but a tree falls with huge noise. Destruction has noise, but creation is silent.
In your success, remain silent as there is power in silence.
    Grow Silently! Cultivate Silence!!

A farmer discovered that he had lost his watch in the barn. It was no ordinary watch because it had sentimental value for him.....
After searching high and low among the hay for a long while, he gave up and enlisted the help of a group of children playing outside the barn.....
He promised them that the person who found it would be rewarded. Hearing this, the children hurried inside the barn, went through and around the entire stack of hay but still could not find the watch.
Just when the farmer was about to give up looking for his watch, a little boy went up to him and asked to be given another chance. The farmer looked at him and thought,
“Why not? After all, this kid looks sincere enough.”
So the farmer sent the little boy back in the barn.....
After a while the little boy came out with the watch in his hand! The farmer was both happy and surprised and so he asked the boy how he succeeded where the rest had failed.....
    The boy replied,
“I did nothing but sat on the ground and listened. In the silence, I heard the ticking of the watch and just looked for it in that direction"
A peaceful mind can think better than a worked up mind.Sometimes the noise in our life is so much with no clarity on what to do.The mind seems so occupied with lots of thoughts that promote fear, discouragement and anxiety.Let peace guard your heart all the time.
Consciously clear your head and mind; be patient and listen.
