Woman Who Excreted 80 Pellets Of Cocaine Says She Did It To Raise Money For IVF...

Oh Dear!!!

An Ogun State-based businesswoman, Olayinka Adisa, travelling to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for Umrah (lesser Hajj) was arrested by operatives of the National Law Drug Enforcement Agency for allegedly ingesting 80 pellets of cocaine.

Adisa was arrested on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the boarding screening area of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, during an outward clearance of Qatar Airways flight 1418.

The NDLEA, in a statement by its Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Monday, said the suspect claimed she trafficked the drug to get money for her in vitro fertilisation treatment.

Babafemi said the suspect excreted the 80 pellets of the drug between Wednesday, when she was arrested, and Saturday, November 27, 2021.

He said, “She claimed during interviews that she saved N2.5m over a period of one year to buy the drug in bits from six different people at Akala, in the Mushin area of Lagos. The suspect further said she was trading in clothes but had to borrow N1m from three persons to make up the money used to buy the drug, adding that she spent another N1m to renew her passport, visa and buy return flight tickets."

    1. She couldn't handle the pressure I know. Desperation and pressure will push you to do what you will regret.

  7. Lucky she was nabbed in Nigeria, else they would've cut off her head. That 2.5m reach do a round of treatment, except she needed more for a surrogate(s).

  10. ivf is not 7m. I ttc for 7yrs, it was tough but not enough reasons to commit a crime

  11. I don't believe her. All lies cause she doesn't want to expose her sponsors. Ivf is not up to 2m, why didnt she use the money for flight tickets to do her IVF.
She's a big liar, lying with the IVF to garner pity from gullible people.

    1. It might be surrogacy for her, dont be too hasty to pass judgement. Though nothing justifies crime, it will have been better she begged, who knows what will happen

    2. Neither me. The story just sounds some how. But she should thank her lucky stars she was discovered in Nigeria, that is a death sentence crime where she was headed.

  12. This is why I say most Africans have kids for selfish reasons. So you become a criminal to bring a child into this world, what is the sustainability plan for the child beyond a lifetime of the emotional blackmail "I carried you for nine months and even committed crime for you" and using the child as her ultimate retirement plan?

    1. You forgot to add the most important part, she would have destroyed the lives of many kids with the drug she was peddling, just to bring forth her own. What a selfish person, not fit to be a mother.

    2. Thank you for calling it what it is “emotional blackmail”. No child ever asked to be brought into this world. Two adults has unprotected intercourse, a child shows up 9 months later. You owe that child the world. It’s your duty & responsibility to provide for the child. Not the other way around.
Yes, I have three children of my own. No, they are not my retirement plan. Yes, they take up all my income, I only wish I had more to offer them.

  13. That woman up there is too old to have a baby! Maybe a surrogate I think but that is not enough to engage in drug peddling! She will face the music

  14. If this is a man nobody will feel pity for him like this. I said it women can suit matters to their own taste to get empathy... Drugs is not the only problem I feel no pity
