World Bank Says More Than 70 percent Of People In The Northeast Nigeria Are POOR:......

The World Bank has disclosed that more than 70 per cent of people in Northeast Nigeria are poor, adding that the region suffers from severe climate crisis and conflict, which diminishes development in the region.







This was according to a new report titled ‘The Lake Chad Regional Economic Memorandum: Development for Peace’, which was released by the Bank.

In the report, it was disclosed that Northeast Nigeria and other regions around Lake Chad are plagued by a high poverty rate, low human capital, and poor access to basic services.

  7. They have made the region unsafe and suffering from the aftermath. It's not as if the poverty figures are any better elsewhere in the country but that region is the worst hit.

    The monster our evil politicians created have come back to haunt them. Shebi they believed so much in increasing population so that they can remain relevant in politics. Oya nah.... Make dem continue

  13. When they accept to be PERPETUALLY hoodwinked by the privileged 1% who keep them in bondage with rules and philosophies they themselves (the rich) do not abide by. That means that they enjoy their poverty.
