  3. I was bullied in primary, secondary and a little in the University. The thing still triggers something in me whenever I see someone being bullied and I must jump in to help.

Praise God I'm not that girl anymore, I don't even have the liver to watch those horrible bullying videos online, I can't take it. Even my social media handles, I'm extremely particular about the people/pages I follow.

See SDK people I can write a book about bullying and it's effects, it's a terrible experience for anyone to go through. Let's be careful and kind to one another.

    2. I ve time now, lemme gist y'all about my experiences with Bullies.
Francis was the biggest pupil in my class in primary school and bullied everyone daily. it finally got to my turn,He stole my pencil everyday, had to come to school with new ones daily.
My parents noticed and asked me questions, I told them that it was Francis. One particular Friday, I was writing when he grabbed my pencil, I tried to report him to the teacher but she didn't listen to me cause I was a stutterer then. I tried to drag my pencil from him but he pushed me so hard that I hit my head on a desk. I went to the teacher again and tried to report but Francis shouted from his seat that I slipped and fell before I could say anything.πŸ˜”
I went home with the bruise, my dad was infuriated, he called me after dinner and ask about Francis "how many hands does he have?", I answered "two", his next comment was all I needed to be able to stand up to Francis and any other bullies in life. Dad was like "Francis has two hands and you have two hands, deal with him with the same two hands he uses to fight you". He taught me how and where to hit in order to have immediate effect on my opponent,I decided to let my nails grow as well so as to use to pinch him incase my punches didn't do much😑.

A week later, I was in class doing my classwork when Francis came my way,the teacher on duty went to the staffroom to get something. I told him off but he tried to drag my pencil as usual, I didn't know when I landed him a slap, followed by serious beatings. I dug my sharp fingers on his face, the whole class started shouting, so the headmistress and some teachers came, they dragged me off him, took him to clean his wounds and made me kneel down in the staffroom during break.to cut a long story short, I was happy seeing the blood from the scar on his face, that was how I put an end to his bullying in my class.they invited our parents and the issue was sorted out . Francis later became my very good frd till we left primary school.😁😁

  13. I've never been bullied.

I called out a class mate in secondary school when some of her friends were complaining that she won't give them her bread until it gets spoilt and her dad brings her fresh bread every Friday, she will give it to her friends when she can no longer eat it.
It was a boarding school, so sliced bread was kinda special. I told them to tell her to her face but they were afraid of her, so I called her out in class during night prep, everybody insulted her and she cried. She told me last week, that's after 15/16 years of the incident, when this recent bullying was happening, she said I bullied her on that day.
I apologized sha because I didn't have strength to argue.
    . But I don't think that is bullying o.

Therefore, I have not bullied anybody before πŸ™„

    1. To me that's bullying, what is your business when she decides to give out her bread?those friends can decide to reject the bread or were they under any obligation to collect it? Even if u must talk to her,why didn't you talk to her in private why call her out during night prep for people to insult her ontop her own bread.
Therefore u have bullied someone before and that makes you a bully

  28. Yes... When i was in primary school( Catholic), I joined the assembly officials ( I love singing) and i forgot the prayers during Lent period. Instead i was saying "The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary instead of Oh Queen of Heaven rejoice". That was how one girl a class ahead of me who always bullied me just collected the mic from me, slapped my face and said the correct Creed. I felt bad and was so angry. After the morning assembly, as she was packing up the mic and stuff, she said "Stupid girl, tomorrow try it again". Immediately, I didn't know when i slapped and started to beat her. One of our teachers held me but was happy i beat her to my satisfaction. Guess what? That marked an end to her bullying me.

So 2018, I was going somewhere and entered a bus, She was in the bus and recognized me. We greeted, chatted and she introduced me to her husband. I greeted him and the bus moved. After some time, they were in a conversation and it seems the guy couldn't follow her to where they agreed too and tried explaining to her, she just flared up and was like you'll do no such thing, you must follow me, how dare you?.... Everyone was like πŸ˜³πŸ™„πŸ™„. I just said within me, this girl hasn't changed... Do bully's every change?

She started picking on me, bodyshamed me, called me names just because I did not commit a little bank fraud( overlook some ATM card processing rules) she wanted. I treated her F.up. I started recording her, I was ready to risk it all. My salary was just one tenth of hers. She came to me crying and begging. I just left the yeye job and relocated outside the country. She was later sacked but because someone else reported her too.

  31. I have been bullied several times in the past and still being bullied now..
It started right from primary school, my classmates seniors and even some teachers used to make fun of me because of the kind of dentition I have, it's scattered and I have big lips too, I was called a vampire , elete kpomo etc..
My English teacher will still compel me to read out comprehension passages in front of the class, so I can be made mockery of..
I wrote common entrance in pry 4, got into FGGC owerri as a very young girl, 9yrs in Jss1.. All d way from Lagos to owerri, nobody to mingle with in the school..
Throughout my Jss days from Jss1 to Jss3, I was bullied..i had a very full hair that almost starts from my forehead, it was long too.. I was very slim, and this bone at the neck was so visible.. I was called skeleton, witch, vampire, all sorts of names..
Whenever seniors were bored in yellow house, they will call me and make me do all sorts of dehumanizing things for their amusement..
It affected my personality alot, I became a loner (still is), I will always sit at the back in class to avoid interacting with people so they don't see my teeth, it affected my self esteem, I became so timid and always scared or ashamed..
Even as an adult the ripple effect of bullying still affects me till date..
Whenever I log in to Facebook and see pictures of those seniors that bullied me in secondary school, I get sad and angry but I wish them well..
If you're a bully, please stop, I beg you in God's name, stop that act of bullying.. You won't be there to wipe tears of your victims when they cry at night, you might not even have the opportunity to apologize for the evil you did because you all will part ways, but your wicked act causes havoc in the life of your victims..
I am even in tears as I write this.. Sorry for the long epistle..

I've been bullied several times because of it on this blog but I don't care cause I know about the secret of bullies, they bully you when they see something they don't have in you(could be your shape, eyes, intelligence, height, etc).
The lack of that which you ve that they so much desire creates the hate in them . No need to cry ok, there's something special in you that they are jealous of.

It irritated me so much n I would always beat her whenever the teacher wasn’t looking. I feel so bad whenever I remember it and I hope she doesn’t remember it. A few other victims in primary school though, one summoned courage n beat me up eh, I gave her space immediately.
Funny enough I entered secondary school n didn’t even bully anymore. Don’t really recall any now. Always Had like 10school daughters at a time and I became fellowship girl then so I was more interested in making my juniors to attend fellowship n night prayers hence I was always nice to them

  54. My primary and secondary School mates used poverty to bully me and my siblings eee.
I grew up in a poor home. Infact, the only accommodation my Mom could afford then was uncompleted building(uncompe). If my school mates passed and saw me in our uncompe, hmmm, the next day school will be hell for me. They will so bully me, some will even come and push or slap me. I couldn't talk or react back because of fear and where I was growing up.
If any of them mistakenly see me hawking around eee, the whole school will definitely hear it.
If I'm returning home from school with my sack bag where I put my books, I will be crying on the road till I get to my poor home.
My school uniform must always expire on my body and change color because of overused, it will just be tearing anyhow. That one is another bully from my class and school mates.
I wore oversized sleepas to school or sandals I picked on the road, that one is another round of bullying. D..
I thank God for life anyways and still believing him for a better tomorrow.

  57. I don’t think I have bullied anyone,I’m always very careful about hurting people,I always consider their feelings,I don’t even like embarrassing people.before I say something to my friends I caution myself not to hurt them or make them feel bad.and if I’m confronted about my wrongs I apologize.
My step brother bullied all of us cos he was the first child and a senior to all of us his siblings, he is a tyrant ,he likes people worshipping him and running around on his instructions.back then years ago he came to visit us one day and by 9:30 pm he sent me outside to go buy eko for him,my area is a rough place, there’s a motel on my street where bad boys hang out with the prostitutes so that place is always filled with Igbo smoking boys.My parents always made sure as a young girl I’m not outside late at night, this man made me go to the street looking for eko to buy .
I didn’t find it so I came and told him I didn’t see eko and he sent me back,he said if I couldn’t find it I shouldn’t come back home.i was angry and scared of roaming around my area by 10 cos I was a very small girl then.
My dad sat down there and he didn’t say a word, cos he does no wrong in his eyes, that was how I was wandering the streets looking for eko by 10pm I didn’t see,I got tired went home in anger and gave him the money told him I didn’t see it and I went inside my room.do u believe this man took the money went outside he came back by past 11pm with eko, woke me up and reign insult on me.i had to wait for him to finish eating by 12 packed the plates washed them and went to sleep.
After that night, for more than a year,he wasn’t talking to me or answering my greeting anytime he came around. I was slightly relieved at least I will rest from his bullying and tyranny.
It was later I heard from his wife that he usually ask her to kneel down and raise up her hands if they have issues at home.he heats her up at will,he locked up her shop and asked her not to work again, a masters degree holder.then when she forcefully got another Job he asked her to be submitting her salary to him or she quits the job.i felt pity for that woman after giving birth to 4kids for him her eyes must have seen shege for 11 years!! She left him and ran for her dear life,Now he is remarried to another woman and I can’t help but wonder what that one is going tru silently. She never see anything.
When my dad died he tried to frustrate my siblings but those ones made him know they are no longer the little ones he used to bully then, they all stood up to him and since after my dads burial he hasn’t showed up again.now all he is after is sharing of the money my dad left in his account before he died, death that is not even up to a year, sigh!!!
Me I detest him,I don’t even want to have anything to do with him.cos I was too scared of him as a child when I saw how he treated my siblings. He beat his son one day his son fainted.he woke him up and continued the beating cos d boy broke the neighbors rubber bucket mistakenly.

    2. Why didn't the mother run with her children? You see why women are advised to birth the number they can take care of especially if you see say the man get K-leg? May he not damage those children irreparably. I have always been bullied, at home, by parents and siblings, in primary, school though not much, secondary school was hell, I was bullied a lot and I think I bullied a few people as well. I was still bullied in university and when I started work by some terrible bosses and colleagues.

I have come to understand that I am easygoing, I also grew up watching my mum raising her voice and being confrontational even when it wasn't necessary so I realize I had a problem setting boundaries and communicating my feelings politely, today, I can never be bullied by anybody neither will I ever bully anybody, it's important children are taught to be nice and polite but assertive whenever necassary.
