Four Teens Slaughter Friend's Lover And Roasted The Head For 'Money Ritual'

Police in Ogun State have arrested four teenagers for killing the girlfriend of one of them for money-making ritual.

The suspects, Wariz Oladehinde (17), Abdul Gafar Lukman (19) and Mustakeem Balogun (20), were arrested on Saturday morning by detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer for Adatan, Abiodun Salau, following a tip-off from the head of the community’s security guards, Segun Adewusi.

The fourth suspect, Soliu Manekodunmi (18), who escaped from the scene when his three accomplices were arrested, was later tracked to his hideout and apprehended.

It was learnt that the suspects were sighted burning something suspected to be human head in a local pot, and the strange smell from the pot gave them away to the community’s security guards.

One of the suspects, Soliu Manekodunmi, was said to have volunteered his girlfriend and lured her to the location in Oke-Aregba area of Abeokuta, the state capital, where she was hacked to death and dismembered.

The Police Public Relations Officer for Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the suspects had confessed that what they were burning in the local pot was the head of Soliu’s girlfriend.

Oyeyemi said: “The suspects also confessed that the girl, identified simply as Rofiat, was lured by her boyfriend Soliu to where she was murdered by the four of them, after which they cut off her head and packed the remains in a sack and dumped it in an old building.

“They subsequently led policemen to the building where the dismembered body was recovered and deposited at general hospital mortuary for autopsy.
“The short cutlass and knife used in cutting off the deceased’s head were also recovered.

“The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, who described the action of the suspects as the height of callousness, ordered a massive manhunt for the fleeing boyfriend of the victim by name Soliu.
“Following the matching order given to the DPO of Adatan Division by the Commissioner of Police, the DPO and his men eventually arrested the fleeing suspect in his hideout.

“The CP also ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation with a view to arraigning them in court as soon as possible.”
The action of the teenagers sparked outrage yesterday as many Nigerians on social media described the gruesome actions of the teenagers as “despicable and callous”.

Some others lamented the scourge of ritual killings especially being perpetrated by youths who are carried away by the get-rich-quick syndrome.

  1. Arurumala -Wickedness!
But that isn't why the police should starve and strip these alleged criminals like this.
Where is human dignity. Let the court process take place and find them guilty.
And please ladies, be watchful, godly and mature before embarking on the dating journey.
    The days are evil.

Easy o. It means that the police are denigrating humans, same offence these boys are accused of.
No need for emotions here. I said that what they did was wickedness.
Let the law take its full course and give them the maximum punishment.

    9. When did Obi Cubana started being active on SM? When did Hushpuppi started being active on SM? Anons. Was Cubana active during the era of stealing pants and bras or picking used pads, killing young girls and boys for money rituals? Make una dey reason well before posting. Those students that used to show off during their final papers with Benz, Lexus n co just started after Obi buried his mum.

When the society has failed and parents not doing the right things I.e. leaving the kids for the society to raise them, without morals what do we get?

May God help us to raise godly kids in this ungodly world, amen.

  7. God have mercy on our generation. Parents please raise your sons and daughters well. Cause it's breaking my heart to wake up to news like these. Just yesterday I went to visit my friend, and I met her little niece in tear, the poor girl is traumatized because her neighbor a child of barely 2 years was kidnapped that very evening. Nigeria isn't safe at all....

  11. Shame on their parents! Most parents have failed in their parenting duties. Societal pressure is not left out too.

What do they want to do with the money they intend to make from such evil? They obviously want to belong without breaking a sweat! They want to drive flashy cars, go clubbing, wear nice clothes because others are doing it. Their parents are accomplices too. They will not question them if they find something they know they cant afford with them. Most parents even encourage their kids to do these evils.... Where is their conscience?

As parents, we need to teach pour kids contentment, patience, hard work and believing in their self. As an adult, my parents will question me if they find me with something they know my salary or my income can not get me.

Imagine what Nigeria will become in the future? Everyone is now so concerned with making quick money, no one wants to study, develop themselves, or think about improving the country with their intellect... I weep for this generation... Please parents, we can do better than this. Tech your kids morals and need to fear God.

  12. It serves all of you right! Check out Nigerian families, the ones that have money are treated like gods, the struggling ones are treated like trash. Check out how Nigerians worship money , even if that money is from satan’s altar, they will say just make sure you have money. I wonder why you people go to church because you are certainly not worshipping Jehovah in this country. It is better to build shrines and put a wooden statue there names ‘mammon’ and kuku be worshipping it.

This is only the beginning , there will be more ritual killings because there is greed and covetousness in the land .

  27. This generation and the fast life. Most artists don't even help matters by flaunting cash, jewelry, cars and what not, then these children see and want to copy their supposed role models. No conscience or morals, they are even willing to kill their parents like that good for nothing boy reported to have attempted murdering his mother before she was rescued by good samaritans with stab wounds all over her.Their motto is live quick, die young,it's sad and shameful that things have deteriorated to this.

  33. An apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Evil begets evil thru the generations unless the Redeemer, Jesus Christ intervenes. A cursed and evil generation: From the lowest to highest office in the land. There you have it.

  34. The government *deliberately* 'killed' education to keep the next generation ignorant.
Again, no free education till secondary school level.

The same government fail to build infrastructures and impoverish the masses to subdue them.

Political leaders and government officials loot public funds and flaunt ill-gotten wealth.

Muscians, actresses and social media influencers flaunt fake material things and luxuries.

BBN promotes and rewards immorality and idleness with a huge Prize money, cars and houses.

Most of you hypocritical bvs raise GoFundMe for your so-called favourite BBN immoral personalities.

Are you all not parents - in all the categories listed above?

There you have your answer why the teenagers are manifesting evil.

EVIL THRIVES WHEN GOOD MEN DO NOTHING❗
