  1. The Power Of Righteousness!!
    Romans 3:22.

    Excerpts!!

"Righteousness enables you to stand in the presence of God without a sense of condemnation or inferiority. This righteousness, according to our theme verse, is “unto all and upon all.”

"Our righteousness is on the basis of a legal claim, and because many aren’t aware they struggle with their faith, not sure whether or not their petitions will be granted"

"But when you stand on His righteousness, you have no such doubts, because you have the pass! Your claims can’t be refused, because you stand in the righteousness of Jesus Christ"

    Confession!!

A righteousness from God—that divine acquittal by faith—has been manifested, and it’s imputed to my account! With that gift of righteousness, I have the boldness and confidence to stand before God without guilt, condemnation or inferiority, and pray to Him and expect answers. I have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

    SATURDAY 5TH FEBRUARY, 2022

    *ACCOUNTABILITY COUNTS*

    TEXT:NEHEMIAH 7:70-73

πŸ”‘πŸ“–```KEY VERSE:``` _*"And that which the rest of the people gave was twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and threescore and seven priests’ garments" (NEHEMIAH 7:72).*_

Thomas Paine, an English-born American political activist, said, "A body of men holding themselves accountable to nobody ought not to be trusted by anybody". Today, the major problem of many countries is leadership. Most of those elected into positions of authority in many countries end up not being accountable to the people who gave them the mandate and act as overlords.

In our text, the leadership of the returned exiles under Ezra made it a point of duty to document and account for the contribution of everyone in support of the work. He first captured the contributions made by "some of the chief of the fathers". He singled out contributions made by the Tirshatha, which was prominent; and then gave accurate records of the rest, which the people gave.

There is need for accountability in the house of God. We must not follow the way of politicians in leadership, which gives room for murmuring and ill feeling in society. God's house must be free from murmuring and suspicion by members. Therefore, leaders ought to be transparent in lifestyle and in accounting for the use of Church resources. To achieve this, leaders should always display competence, transparency and sincerity in getting and disbursing resources. If it mattered in the Old Testament, it also matters now.

Much can be learnt from the cooperation, commitment and willingness of the Jews. We must not neglect the least contributor in any project in the household of faith. Everyone and every contribution counts!

✍🏽```THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:``` _*Accounting matters to God; it should matter to us.*_

THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: *DEUTERONOMY 13-16*

    *MEDITATION*

    *True piety and financial faithfulness*

One strong way to discern your spirituality and the state of your heart is from your attitude towards money, also called mammon.
    a. Do you love money? Then you have a root of evil in your heart🀷‍♂️ I Timothy 6:10.
    b. Is search for wealthy what constitutes the major part of your prayers or seeking God? Matthew 6:33.
    c. What is the main motivation for your relationships, marriage and friendship? A relationship built around mammon is a fake relationship which will not last.
    d. Do you pay your tithes as a matter of priority happily or you give excuses for all kinds of unfaithfulness?
    e. Do you find it difficult to give to the needy and assist others financially with cheerfulness?
    f. Do you pursue clean way of making money or at times you give excuses for fraudulent or questionable money ventures?
    g. Do you take accountability serious to the minutest details when dealing with money that is not yours? Are you always guided by the fear of God?
    h. Can you boldly say in the presence of holy angels that your hands are clean when it comes to financial faithfulness?
    I Timothy 6:6-10, 17-19.

    *Prayer points*
Lord search my earth and remove every hidden love of moneyπŸ™
Lord, convict me of any past unfaithfulness with money that heaven is holding against me and give grace to make restitutionπŸ™
Father, I ask for the heart of financial accoutability and faithfulness at all timesπŸ™
Lord, let the love and the fear of God that make brethren to be financially faithful rule the heart of allπŸ™

    1. So true.
Reminds me of when hot water splashed on my leg and I had burns few weeks ago, I wore free trousers that were not tight and maxi gowns/skirts till the spot healed. No one asides my husband and daughter knew I had a sore on my leg. Now I have started wearing short clothes and people have been asking that what happened to my leg, How did I get that scar?

From the things I have seen in my time in this world, cover your wounds or stay indoors until it heals.
One of my former bosses fell and had a small cut on her right leg, she treated it and they put a bandage on the spot, she was wearing dresses and skirts and left the place uncovered. People were asking questions and she kept explaining what happened to them.
Last last, the leg was amputated from the knee dowmwards when it wanted to kill her. From small cut to a big wound thatrefused to heal and was rotting away. She was not diabetic or had any underlying illness, she was a young woman in her 30s as at then and I was her PA.
She now wears an artificial leg.

That is just one of the numerous cases I have seen.

    7. Lol.

My belief is that whatever happens to anyone in this life (good or bad) is what is destined to be for the person.

So the person's juju is that strong and the person did not use the juju on the Lady for a long time and only waited for the lady to get injury?

The Lady's wound probably got infected and that's why the wound got worse.

Some People wake up and pray for life but will go out, have accident and die.(that's the person's destiny and not that God did not hear the person's pray or that anyone manipulated the dead person spiritually)

Some people will wake up, go out without praying, witness near death experience but still come back alive ( that's the person's destiny not to die that day)

All this untimely death or spiritual manipulation makes no sense to me.
If you believe in God, pray to God, go out and accept anything that happen(good or bad) with good fate. It is destined to be and you can't change it.

If truly you believe in God, pray to him, hand everything to him and go out without fear.
Whatever happen, give thanks to him

    8. @courage!
It is not only diabetis that can escalate sore, open wound or skin cut. Cancer can develop too from sore or wound if not treated properly!!! Bob marley died from cancer that spread through just ordinary cut on his toe ... injury from playing football. His doctor had earlier suggested for him to ampuate that toe when the wound refuse to heal, but bob marley declined ... say no amputation for rasta man bodi. Then only for him to die within 6 months tragically due to quick spread of cancer from that same "little toe " wound.

Don't be ignorant & blame juju ..spiritual attack etc on obvious things.
*** seek the right medical help for medical problems!!

If many nigerians prayed less, but do the right things at the right time, their lives will not be hopeless, wasted or pathetic as it is.

  24. When I read the post about the student who had Viagra in his bag..the only thing I could mutter was "God have mercy!"

I saw one or two comments about not searching the bags of student and I don't know what to make of it.

As a security person I will say this...

Students as young as 15 have been abusing drugs. What we saw was viagra, how about the ones that buy the local made aphrodisiacs sold at major bus stops or the ones who take all the sachet drinks like ogidigba and co being sold everywhere..

Our daughters are not left out. They smoke, drink and chew contraceptives like vitamin C tablets..

But let me shift to the main story..

I SUPPORT SEARCHING THE BAGS OF STUDENTS AT RANDOM.

I attended a public school during my teenage years and I will tell you that the school bag is the vehicle of choice to move all sorts of things by students.

If searching of bags becomes frequent, they will throw things over the fence in secluded areas of the school to go and pick later.

I did my NYSC in 2011. I was a biology teacher. My school was on a major road linking two states. We had a very thick bush behind us. Some teachers and students farmed on it.

I knew there was a problem when I found out that over 30 percent of girls in SS 2 & 3 already had at least a child.

I was talking to the corper I met in the school about it when he mentioned that they enter the bush to have sex. I couldn't believe it.

    Till I saw it myself.

It was in that school I saw students come to school with condoms and local aphrodisiacs in their bags.

My strictness resulted in a 17 year old female student telling me that I behave like I don't like girls..

Now back to my days as a secondary school student in mushin, lagos State.

All type of assorted weapons are kept in ceilings in selected classrooms. These weapons are brought into the school via school bags. They are usually kept to be used later in fights against other secondary schools..

Students came to school with charms. One even wore a ring called "Torch and follow" and bragged about his father being a herbalist.

Let us go to the United States of America..

School shootings has been endemic in America. Every year, students bring guns to school to shoot for sport.

How do they smuggle the guns into the school?

    Through their school bags...

See, you don't need to wait for teachers to search the bags of your children. As a parent especially if you have teenagers, you should search their bags at random.

When pornographic magazines where a thing at every major bus stops in Lagos.. students bought them and brought them to school.

They keep it in their school bags. Take it home and bring it to school the next day. During break time, we will sit and look at colourful pages of the most seedy sex pictures you will ever see.

Parents have a lot to do. If we don't monitor what our kids do, we can't blame teachers when they do their part.

Many teenagers are in cult groups today. The females are used as sex slaves to satisfy the cravings of the top goons. Their sons keep weapons and sometimes act as drug mules...

Their parents don't know. The guns are in their rooms. Their teenage daughters keep abortion drugs in their bags because they have sex during cult meetings without protection.

Teachers can only do their bit. We as parents have a lot to do. If you neglect your child, the environment won't neglect them.

    2. True anon
When I was still teaching we had students who were in cults (junior students not exempted), some brought charms and all sorts to school.
There was a case of a girl who used to inject hard drugs into her arms in the school. She would go to the rest room and help herself whenever she wanted to. This girl used to be a very beautiful girl but she was very restless. She was caught one day by her fellow students and when we were interrogating her, she said her boyfriend introduced her to it but that the said boyfriend had left her for another girl so she was taking overdose of the shot to kill herself. It is a long story but what we got from it was that her parents were to be blamed 90 percent.
Let us try our best to care for our children because I saw and heard a lot during my years as a teacher.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yes it is safe. I do it a lot. The agent will have to confirm the credit alert before paying you the cash. He will check his app to see if the money entered before paying you. It is best to use an agent not far from your house who knows you so that he will agree to it as some of them don't accept transfers from strangers.
They claim that Yahoo boys use their accounts to move funds which later puts the agents in trouble of Efcc traces the account where the money entered and they will not be able to produce the person who collected the cash.

  33. Dear Parents,
If you have a teenage daughter in Secondary School, please make out time this week before Friday to talk to her about Valentine's day,πŸ™πŸ‘Œ educate her on what love is all aboutπŸ’―.....No matter how innocent that your princess may appear, bear in mind there is something called peer pressure😟.

Some ignorant teenagers will be lured into sex this week all in the name of Valentine's dayπŸ™‰Some will loose their virginity, while some will get pregnant over a cup of ice cream (from Mr Biggs, Tantalizer, Chicken Republic etc) and gifts (from Shopping Mall; ShopRite) πŸ™‰.....Show your teenage girl lots of love this week and always πŸ’―πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒget her a beautiful Valentine gift and make sure to tell her categorically, looking straight into her eyes that no one will ever love her genuinely like you do♥️♥️♥️❣πŸ₯€πŸ₯€....This may save you from unwanted pregnancy this week πŸ€”πŸ™ƒ

I know some hollier than thou mummies here would critisize this write up and swear to the moon and back that their daughters are innocent and decentπŸ™„πŸ€” issoorite ooo, but bear in mind that if you don't take up your responsibility and talk to them about sex, their mates will surely do that....some of these "innocent" children know more about sex than you think.
