FROM TUESDAY SPONTANEOUS POST:

Good morning beautiful people. I missed the single and mingle update post yesterday. A handful of guys added me but all I got mostly were hi's and hellos. I believe since I did a brief introduction about myself, no need for long talks about me all over again but no, after the hi, it's tell me about yourself or can I see your picture. That's tiring.

So, I got a call around 5pm yesterday and after battling with network, I finally heard him say where are you with such bad network and loud noise? I said I was at the airport and about boarding but who am I speaking with so I can call back when I land? He said "I will be very direct, did you say you "shubby"? Was like excuse me?

He said "I just want to know if you are very very shubby that's why I'm direct cos some men don't like to waste time". At that point, I became livid and told him off albeit politely. He ended the call and sent me a message apologizing on WhatsApp and said all the best. I'm done with SnM biko.

What is the meaning of Shubby?... Dont give up because you feel someone below your taste contacted you....

NSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I want the best for my kids, I really do. I want them to have all I didn’t get to have and I would love to give them the right push and soft landing needed to make it on their own.

Since I could read and understand the Bible, I have come to understand that parents are supposed to work and leave inheritance for their children not have kids so that they can be meal tickets.

I understand that not everyone would have the privilege to do this but I am willing to work towards it. See Abraham in the Bible he left so much wealth for Isaac, Isaac did the same for Esau and Jacob( Jacob ran off). David to Solomon and many more examples. So I have always believed in working hard to give my kids the best.

I have always believed in Nigeria as a country and I’ve always believed that this country has a bright future. I still believe so, I really do but the circumstances and the economic situation of the country with no chances of improvement in sight has got me in a slight fit.

I am not a fan of just relocating abroad for the sake of just running away because I know that if things are not done right the suffering and hardship that can be experienced in a strange land without a support system can have a devastating effect on the family unit.

There issues of gun violence, drug issues, gang violence and so many other vices that are also on the rise in the western world and are majorly affecting young teenagers and young adults and I would like to protect my children from that.

I really don’t want to also be caught up in a cycle of working for so many hours and multiple jobs just to have the barest minimum and not have time for my kids.

I feel relocating should be well thought out. Finances should be in order, and one should be sure of God’s leading before taking a leap.

I have been entertaining more thoughts of relocating recently because almost everyone around me don “Japa" and are mounting slight pressure to give it a try. The statement “if you don’t want to do it for yourself at least do it for your kids, so they can have a better life” has been getting to me.

*Your mind is really very busy, my dear it happens to everyone oooooh.....

THE SIX RATS
You have just come back from work to see 6 rats.

 • The 1st rat was eating your highest academic certificate maybe a degree Certificate.

 • The 2nd rat was eating your ATM card.
 • The 3rd was eating your Marriage Certificate.
 • The 4th was eating your land and house ownership documents.
 • The 5th was eating your Visa to travel for a multi-Billion dollar project.
 • The 6th was eating your Bible.

Which one would you kill first and why?

I will kill all the rats at once if it is possible cos all the things they are eating are very important to me oh.....

  6. Hello my people
Please can anyone tell me how much is flight ticket from Enugu to Lagos to and fro. I plan to go see someone I met online by April.. We've been talking for sometime now and we seems to be SERIOUSLY in love 🙈
He wants to sponsor the trip but I don't want him. My reason is, I don't want to ever sleep with him ( which we have discussed and he's cool with it, but you never can tell). I want to be myself, not trying to please him with my body. So I plan to sponsor myself to avoid anybody feeling "after all his expenses"..
Btw, 1 of my family will speak to him, 1 of my friends will also speak to him and they will have his address phone number and social media handles 😄. Stella I will also forward his phone number and pictures to you oo🤣 God help me

    10. Why are you going? Why can't he come to you?
Nothing cute about going to see a man in a state you may not be familiar with. You will fly down,he books a hotel room, then you don't want to sleep with him,nne doesn't make sense at all, sharing phone numbers wong stop him.
If you are going to sleep with him, discuss it now, mention it to him,so his hopes aren't too high. Don't go tempting somebody's son and claim harrased.

    11. Baby girl, accept the offer. Weda you go by air or by road. If he wants to make love with you in his house he will. It is 98% chance that he will forcefully make love with you. I am yet to recover from the one that happened to me last November. He is we both grew up in the same neighborhood during our primary and secondary school days. He's been inviting me but I refused because I didn't want sex. He assured me that he won't do it-that he has grown past that level, he can't force me to make love with he, that he respects my wish. I was very happy to hear that he won't touch me. So he immediately booked the flight ahead of time. It was 36k from Owerri to Lagos. (It is cheaper when it's booked ahead of time. Like 3days before the day you will travel. Enugu to Lagos should be the same Price)...

This guy forced me. I fought with all my might yet he had his way. I am yet to recover from that experience. Since I left there I never picked his calls. I felt betrayed. I expected us to jist and get to know ourselves better since it's just a one day trip. But this guy did not give room for gist. It's sex sex sex after sex he said; "let's go swimming" lol, I have just one day to stay with you . We have not discussed any meaningful thing since I came and you are talking of swimming. Besides ,that swimming is not my kind of thing... That one day that I stayed there we stayed like enemies. We are not yet emotionally connected and you are initiating sex.I know sex is important why not wait. Funnily, this guy came the second week when I started praying to God for a good man. I told God,I am asking God why he had to allow me go through that after all my vow. He even had other girls he was chatting with. When he chats, he deletes. I used my side eyes to see that he was chatting and deleting. What was he deleting.

Since then I feel week to pray

Then, if you know what is good for you, better stay in a hotel or at a friend's house and don't pass the night at the guy's house or be too alone with him cos they will promise heaven and earth that no sex, but end up raping the person.

  7. *A child steals and is imprisoned. His father is asked for 8,000,000 CFA to free his son.The father sells all his cows to pay this money. On their way back home, he said to his child: May I never see you steal again, otherwise I will burn your hands. Look, because of you we have become poor again. The little one replies with a smile: Don't cry, dad. The money you paid, here it is ,I stole it from the desk drawer before going out.*

    *QUESTION:*

If you are the father of this child, what will you do?
    1 . Punish him ?
2 . Bring him back to jail?
    3 . Congratulate him?
    4. Return the money?

  8. I love working out cos it gives me this toned sexy look when I dress up. Sometime  last year I stopped cos I was doing a lot of marketing for my business. The office to office waka and climbing of staircase is enough already. Weekends are for resting. I can't come and kill myself. Got to December with all the season food, I gained some weight, still look good but a different kind of good.

Long story short, watched "Marry Me" last week and I couldn't stop admiring Jlo's body. I don't care if she did some work on it like some people are saying but she's so toned and looking at her I knew whatever she did to her body she definitely added exercises that got her looking that way..
I'm back to my exercise routine and I'm loving it. Give me some weeks. I just love the way I look in dresses and tight jeans after a period of time working out.

Am I rich now? No! But can I afford my basic amenities, contribute to my family expenses and still take care of my people back home, definitely yes!

Was I able to do those when I was in Nigeria? Definitely not! See ehn, if things are working well for u in Nigeria, there’s probably no reason for u to relocate but if things are not working well and u can gather the funds to relocate legally, my dear, you better do it oh.

  27. Someone earning N1.5 million monthly in Nigeria from his businesses was asking if he should go ahead and imitate plans to relocate to the UK.

That’s the problem with herd mentality, because seemingly everyone wants “ to “japa” and it’s the trendy thing to do, you also want to join them despite the fact that you’re doing relatively well in Nigeria and probably live and earn better than some of those who have relocated as well.

What’s the guarantee that you’d do better than you already are if you move to the UK? Life is not necessarily greener on the other side no matter how hardworking and tenacious you are, I’ve seen this play out several times when this abysmally thought out decision came back to bite them in the ass leaving them desolate and full of regrets.

Common sense is really not that common.

    1. You can continue to say this until he is kidnapped and the kidnappers demand 50naira for his release, that's when you'll understand that the clime matters more than the money.. or when there's an emergency health situation and he'll need to be flown overseas..

See ehn just forget that talk. I know a young girl that earns 4k Dollars here monthly and I still advice her be open to relocating overseas.. maybe this advice would change later, just the same way your advice was the best like 10 years ago.. but it's outdated for now, probably, until something changes

    3. 1) Safety- Even with the 1.5 million naira, are you safe??

Example,Can you use your car to go to various part of Nigeria if you have phobia for Air?

      2) No snow in Nigeria😀😀,it must touch my head

      3) The amount of energy I put into work here and get these results even with the whole challenges;imagine what will happen if I put in same energy abroad where there is Law and order..

      4) Fear of the unknown;you are a target if you make small money here, you cant even move freely;you cant hide riches either cos if you dont show off;your skin and lifestyle would let people notice and that turns you to a target..

      5) Abroad is good,Eka Joy even confirmed, none in my Lineage ever went abroad and returned Poor cos we are genuine hustlers and not about "Job Title"..

Mine wont be the first to spoil..

      6) I must not get a corporate Job if I travel;lots of other things can give you a comfortable lifestyle abroad if you're willing to work and I would sure work cos I know where I came from and my purpose abroad..

So for me;its not about the amount I make here;I stress everyday in Biz so let me compare and contrast by going abroad to stress with same energy😀😀

The other day in church, 2 people shared testimonies of how God rescued them from kidnappers. My brother in law and his friends had to do go fund me for a friend to be released from kidnappers.

My former colleague told me few weeks ago that our then boss had relocated. She was doing so so well here but her daughter is sick. Nigeria cannot save her child. She needs to be in an environment were the health care system works. So she's said goodbye to Nigeria.

    4. Beloveds, I’m literally a dual citizen of the US and Nigeria.

I’ve lived and worked in US for a couple of years before my heart told me I belong to Naija.

If I so damn please, I can pack up my shit and return to “the land of the free and the home of the brave” tonight while you continue languishing in what I’m sure you refer to as a “shit hole”. I can also get a plum job there in no time if I so wish because I was able to build solid connections with professionals in different industries, from Wall Street to the big Tech organizations, and they would not hesitate to refer me for a role in their respective organisations like they have done before. Just last week, one of my contacts at Goldman sent me a vacancy at his organisation, encouraged me to apply and offered to refer me for the role which i turned down because i have no intentions of relocating at least for now.

So like MM said, wtf are y'all on about? Relocating is the least of my problems lmao.

I don't usually like to toot my own horn but you losers gotta learn that not everyone is operating on the same frequency as you, I still stand by what i always say. Nigeria is a gold mine despite all the difficulties and you have to deal with that.

  35. That year in Yaba Tech, cult guys were disturbing so management told us to go home. My room mates left their shoes in the wardrobe like that while I decided to keep mine in my bag and put under the bed.
You see those shoes I kept are the ones rats feasted on. They filed my shoes, turned them to saw dust and gave birth on top.
I no fit cry. Very beautiful shoes oo. I didnt waste time. I plugged the electric stove and roasted all the children. They were about 10. I was very angry.
At night, their mother cane looking for them and disturbing the whole hostel. Very fat rat.
