TUESDAY IN HOUSE NEWS...

 Today is beautifully different....

IN HOUSE MEMO

How the go dey go?

I am so happy the Countries are beginning to lift all the COVID 19 restrictions, however i dont think i will stop using my mask anytime soon..... Its my decision and saves one from inhaling nonsense.. The other day i took of my mask to scratch my nose briefly and someone around me had farted something that smelled like dead rat, I could not smell it cos of the mask....LOL

I didnt really wanna talk about this but after my case I have heard of others and I am just glad that God saved me.... I had a fall in the bathroom, it was my fault though but a fall is a fall... I was saved but i am moving around with a crutch so as not to put pressure on the place i hurt..my whole body hurts like i was beaten up and my head still pounds but thank God....

Please be careful in the bathroom...Be extra careful!

Have an amazing rest of the day!

INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

I have not had make up done in years, I have gone natural for about three years now. I am enjoying it, there are few times I feel like going out all made up with long lashes but from experience I have learnt to kill the urge.

For me, within an hour or two after I make up everything is smeared because I can’t keep my hands off my face. I am always rubbing my eye lids and when I am distracted and trying to concentrate, I rub my chin and cheeks so at the end of the day everything looks smeared....

I also react to eye lashes glue, on my wedding day half way through the ceremony my eyelids were watering badly and had mild swellings. I had to look for a corner and yank off the lashes before I could see properly.

Recently I thought of buying new make up products and disciplining myself to go a whole day without smudging everything, so I got a list of products I needed to buy and I was surprised like “kilode!!” . Over ten products are to be used to have the perfect look and good ones don’t come cheap too.

I remember when I just started experimenting with make up. All I needed was my white powder, eye pencil and lip gloss. I remember using the black pencil to draw a small dot over my lips as a beauty spot. Then brown powder and red lipstick and eye shadow came, looking back at my old pictures I can’t help but smile, I looked like a beautiful clown and to think I thought those asking me to reduce my make up then were just hating.

Now making up is a whole production. Kudos to every woman who has mastered the art of making up and look flawless with it, Its hard work and to help myself I have decided to have my face professionally done the next time I am going for a party. I would like to see how long I can go before smudging everything.

Hahahahahahahah i am same way with make up, i dont even know how to make up.....My Ruby woo red lipstick is a must have though.... I remember when i was in Nigeria and had eyelashes glued to my eyes, by the time i was at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris, my eyelids were watering and swollen. I had to look for corner and began pulling them off one after the other. it was horrible and since then i used use the eyelashes i can take off without stress.

Most people tell me they learn how to make up from YouTube videos..... they must be geniuses...

NOT A CHRONICLE

Good day, Stella and all Bv’s please I need your advice on this.

We recently sold a family land and money was shared between my siblings and me 5million each. The point is I have always wanted to Act in movies and was thinking of investing in it. But my friend has advised me not to, but rather I should use the money in relocating out of the country, Canada to be precise.

That I will go there as a nursing student to work and school at the same time. That besides I can always Act in movies in Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ and pursue my career over there. I'm confused right now I don't know what to do, should I listen to my friend or should I stay back in Nigeria and pursue my acting career in Asaba? Please I need sincere advice. Thanks

I dont think 5 million would be enough for you to process your journey to Canada.... Yes you can buy ticket with it but if you are entering the proper way, you need to have some dollars in an account and this five million is not up to half of the amount you must have in the account....

Investing that money is movies also is not what i would advice you to do UNLESS you have the right plug in, but i see that you dont.

My dear, look for something better to invest your money on.....

Hey i might be wrong though, lets see what others who know have to say!

  6. So Nigerians can actually invest 5M to go abroad; because of?
Are there no businesses you can open and grow that money? Think of female clothing, food, sanitary necessities etc. these are things that must sell no matter how hard things are.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The question should be, is there a favorable enabling environment here? Is the power supply encouraging? Don't be surprised, that 5m will be reduced to thousands as a result of fuel consumptions and other evil taxes that one didn't benefit from. Not to talk of bribery before importation is being released to the owner.

See how your mind is always clouded by negativities?
I know someone who established his fashion business in a village, away from all those things.
She uses both electric (solar) and mechanical sewing machines. And she packs her wares to the cities; Lagos, PH,
Abuja etc. to sell. You probably are wearing one of her clothing lines as imported from abroad. She doesn't make noise,
      just millions.
I know another who has a poultry/vegetable farm in a remote village and drives to the cities to supply both chickens
      and eggs etc. to hotels.
It is called business sagacity and of course depend on Jesus for favor and wisdom.

Have you asked if the person is business savvy? Or do you think you just jump into something without a passion or flair for it.

The country is actually difficult for business people ask around you.
Those going abroad are going to further their studies hereby giving them a better opportunity to get something higher that would probably have been more difficult for them in Nigeria.
There’s also the issue of safety in the country what happens if you get kidnapped, will your 5million save you?

  12. Hello guys, so yesterday I made a Valentine’s chocolate chip cake for my kids with just about N1,500 and want to share the recipe with you all, it was so amazing and they absolutely loved it! So here goes….

    Flour- 350 250g
    Butter- 400 125g
    Sugar- 200 125g
    Baking powder-50 2 tablespoons
Sachet of milk- 80 half cup
    2 eggs – 160
Powdered Milk and Vanilla flavor – 200 2 tablesppons
Dunnes chocolate- 200 cut into chips and freeze

Cream your butter and sugar till light and fluffy, break in eggs one at a time then mix for a few seconds, now add your dry ingredients( flour, baking powder and flavor) then mix thoroughly till properly combined, then add your milk and mix . lastly add your chocolate chip and transfer into your baking pan.
I used my halogen oven to bake at 180 for 30 mins , you can use any oven and if you don’t have an oven just use your gas cooker or stove, simply add salt into a large pot just enough to cover the base, then turn the flames to the lowest, place your cake pan inside and cover the pot then bake for 1hour!
    Hope you found it useful.
Note that some of the ingredients like the flour, butter, sugar and flavor can be used for another batch.

  15. Word for thought..Our trip is Very Short

I've read this at least 15 times this morning. It's so true and beautifully written*

A woman climbed up the bus and sat down beside a man, hitting him with her numerous bags.

When the man remained silent, the woman asked him why he did not complain when she hit him with her bags?

The man replied with a Smile:
"There is no need to be upset about something so insignificant, as our journey together is so short, because I'm getting off at the next stop."

This answer disturbed the woman so much , she asked the man to excuse her and thought the words need to be written in gold.

Each one of us must understand that our time in this world is so short, that darkening it with useless arguments, jealousy, not forgiving others, discontentment and bad attitudes are a ridiculous waste of time and energy.

Did someone break your heart? Stay calm.
    The trip is too short

Did someone betray you, intimidate, oppress, cheat on you, or humiliate you?
    Relax, Don't be Stressed
    The trip is too short.

Did someone insult you without reason?
    Stay calm. Ignore it.
    The trip is too short.

Did someone make a comment that you didn't like? Misrepresented before the authority? Said things that are very uncomplimentary about you? Tried to pull and run you down?
Stay calm. Ignore. Forgive, keep them in your prayers & love them still for no reason.
    The trip is too short.

Whatever the problems some bring to us, it is a problem only if we think of it, remember
that our journey together is too short.

No one knows the length of our trip. No one has seen tomorrow. Nobody knows the time of arrival.

Our trip together is too short.

Let us appreciate friends and family. Keep them in good humor. Respect them. Let us be respectful, kind, loving & forgiving.

Because we will be filled with gratitude and joy, after all Our trip together is very short.

Share your smiles with everyone....choose your path to be as beautiful as you wish it to be.

Our trip is Very Short (copied)

Motherhood series madam, you don't need to use all the makeup product and you don't need to be fully glammed-up always, that is reserved for special occasions.
Get a face moisturiser, a good foundation primer, foundation, brow pencil, arch brush , a concealer, a lip balm, a gloss, and one Lipstick of your favorite colour, face powder, a foundation brush, eyeliner, maskara And a finishing spray, go for the low or average cost products, don't do high end, all I mentioned you can cost about 15k- 20k and you will use them for more than 2years considering you are not a makeup person. It's not cute for only you to be on low-cut hair and still not wear makeup haba, you see these men they might not tell you, but they are proud of you when you always look well groomed and shiny. And a little makeup does that trick, you need just little product on your face, you don't need lashes.
Just know how to groom your brows and draw a fitting brow all the time.
Canada story 5m no go reach you enter Canada o, na so dem dey deceive people by the time you are processing things you get choked and begin to run around looking for cash. Think of something else to better your life with 5m.

Chief Adebayo Alao Akala came from Abuja yesterday evening after he attended Mrs.Mulikat Adeola Daughter's wedding at Abuja.
He woke up this morning at around 4.30 am to call his Housemaid whom he instructed to put on the generator and the Air-condition in the sitting room.He further ordered the man to put on the heater as he will be having his bath.
He went into the bathroom, fell and became unconscious.
While this was unknown to the housemaid ,his political friends and associates who regularly trooped in/ gathered around 7.30am at his house were worried that their principal is yet to greet them as it was his custom.
This ginger their curiosity and went inside to see what might have happened.
Alas, here lies Baba s body on the floor and was conveyed by an ambulance said to belong to LAUTECH hospital in the presence of his personal physician .
IT was at the hospital that he was certified DEAD and has since been put in a morgue.

Late Adebayo Alao Akala was a committed Governor who served the state to the very best of his ability.
He was extremely generous and always meant well for all that cross his path.

I just pretended like I don't know what's she was talking about.

Invest that 5million into real estate and thank me later.

For the woman coming to see her inlaws in the north, visit with gift like wrappers, perfume and money e.t.c. Not foodstuffs, food in the north is cheaper compared to other states. Good luck

  44. Bv That has 5million. It is enough to travel out but not for study except you will look for schools that offer scholarship. Pls DON'T invest it in Nigeria, Nigeria is fucked up. Businesses fold up everyday. Poor electricity, insecurity, bad government policies, corruption, etc. Pls find a means to relocate.

  50. My dear Stella so sorry for what happened to you. That is why I hate bathtubs when they are slippery anything can happen. I removed my bathtub and put in a walk in shower with non-slip floor. So no matter how slippery it gets you can't fall. I love bathroom furnishings. I can create bathroom spaces even my family use my bathroom because of the make over.

  54. When I came to Abuja newly.I was looking for work and someone directed me to Galadimawa to see someone who could help with a job. I wasn't having a penny. He sent me a recharge card pin of 1,500 to sell and take care of the to and fro.
I got to the car wash, Lugbe and I heard some drivers chanting ‘Galadima’. I thought it was a short form Galadimawa. I hopped in.
Well, after wasting all the money and the person got tired of my calls, I trekked back to the city gate and began to stop every car and begged them to drop me at Lugbe. I cried eh.

If you are new in Abuja, the names may sound the same but believe me, you fit loss.

  57. Sorry for the fall Stella. May you get back to your feet soon.

The lady that got 5m and wants to relocate, yes the money will be enough for you to relocate to either Canada or UK to study a course of your choice but Canada is not 100% guaranteed to give you visa even if you meet all the requirements. I suggest you try UK. You can hire money from your siblings so they put some money including yours in your account for at least one month then they withdraw back their money. You can have an agreement to lock your account so you won't have access to it until one month elapse regarding your bank statement. The 5m will cover everything including paying part tuition, medicals, IHS and flight ticket. You can be working while schooling when you get there to be able to pay up your remaining tuition. That is if you really want to migrate. Most people who migrates do not have all the money at once.

Also be very careful how you use the money so as not to mismanaged it. Google affordable schools then look through their direct Nigerian representatives and partners in their websites and use them but go to their offices first which their address will be provided on the school websites. I hope this helps.

Poster 5 Million CANNNOT do anything for you in terms of Masters.
      Don't let anyone deceive you.
Go online and check tuition, you will still ba? And you cannot take your classes naked.
Go online YOURSELF and educate YOURSELF.
Otherwise you will fall into the hands of these hungry agents.
