Woman Almost Jumps From 3rd Mainland Bridge Because She Was ''Beaten At Home''

A Woman almost jumped off the 3rd mainland bridge on Thursday but she was restrained by Officials of Rapid Response squad (RRS) on patrol....








She attempted to jump into the lagoon outward Iyana Oworo end of the bridge when the officers restrained her after their attention was drawn to the scenario by a dispatch rider

She told them “I was beaten at home, that is why I ran away to commit suicide”.
 

She has been conveyed to Iyana Oworo Police Division, where efforts are being made to contact her family members

    But do you know that once a suicidal person jumps off, all desperation, frustration and hopelessness ceases, they suddenly realize that nothing is worth killing yourself over. But alas it's too late. Thank God, she was rescued.

  7. Thank God help came fast before it's too late. Then tomorrow when she's enjoying life , the person that used to beat her up will come and say forgive me, help me ,this and that .

  14. If you are being abused day and night at home by the very people who should love you it will make you suicidal. Even very young children in single digit ages become suicidal living in abusive settings.

    I honestly hope she gets solid care and good counselling with the opportunity to leave the toxic environment so she can thrive.
