Woman Almost Jumps From 3rd Mainland Bridge Because She Was ''Beaten At Home''

A Woman almost jumped off the 3rd mainland bridge on Thursday but she was restrained by Officials of Rapid Response squad (RRS) on patrol....

She attempted to jump into the lagoon outward Iyana Oworo end of the bridge when the officers restrained her after their attention was drawn to the scenario by a dispatch rider

She told them “I was beaten at home, that is why I ran away to commit suicide”.

She has been conveyed to Iyana Oworo Police Division, where efforts are being made to contact her family members

from Pmnews

So sad that the Homefront became a battle ground for her....

  1. Suicide is never an option, walk away with your life than dying with a title

  2. Only God knows the kind of abuse she passes through at home that made her consider suicide. Sad!

  3. Suicide is never an option but the issue is,, we are stronger than one another

  4. Thank God she was saved.People go through a lot, hope she gets the help she needs.

  5. God please fix this woman,Amen

  6. Chai...inside life.
But do you know that once a suicidal person jumps off, all desperation, frustration and hopelessness ceases, they suddenly realize that nothing is worth killing yourself over. But alas it's too late. Thank God, she was rescued.

    1. Have you committed suicide before to know this😒??

  7. Thank God help came fast before it's too late. Then tomorrow when she's enjoying life , the person that used to beat her up will come and say forgive me, help me ,this and that .

  8. Thank God she was saved . Parents and guidance should please be educated on the need to stop abusing their children in the name of discipline.

  9. Hmmmmmmn i can relate , we are stonger than each other

  10. Mere looking at her picture, you will know she was really in pains. Divine comfort to her Amen

  11. Hmmm..thank God she was rescued.

  12. Chei, people are really going through a lot.

  13. I pray she gets the help she needs🙏

  14. If you are being abused day and night at home by the very people who should love you it will make you suicidal. Even very young children in single digit ages become suicidal living in abusive settings.

I honestly hope she gets solid care and good counselling with the opportunity to leave the toxic environment so she can thrive.

  15. Thank God the police got there on time, when the pressure is much nothing will always sense to you but the thinking of suicide will come like never today
