  3. I said it that most Parents are to be blamed for their children way of life... what we have now are mostly the ones indulging in crimesdirectly/indirectly with their kids.....you notice a sudden rise in wealth from a child that has no source of livelihood and you embrace him/her without scolding them to know how they acquired such I'll gotten wealth.

    1. One woman in my area, her teenage son was caught stealing and all she could come up with is 'is he the only one that's been caught stealing before?'. This boy was causing havoc in the area and she kept supporting him. She even pushed him to join bad boys so that he can be bringing money to the family. Naso this guy migrate to high way robber. He started working for politicians and killing anyhow with the aid of their babalawo in Ogoni according to him. He's just a year older than me. He built houses and his mum was bragging, chopping and controlling the money.
They went for a mission with his gang, guy colonized the money and refused to share, na him one of them, knowing he's a wanted man, anonymously gave the police hint where to get him(he came visiting in the area). That night, we didn't sleep, it was an open fire between him, some of his friends and the police. They were shooting at him and bullet no penetrate. He escaped and the police made away with his car and other valuables.
His mother that gave him mind was crying and seeking help cos the area denied him and was ready to work with the security personnels to arrest him. To cut long story short, he ran to that popular man of God in Port Harcourt that's always rescuing criminals. It was this man of God that went to the police commissioner and settled his case. He's now surviving on the assets he secured while in the gang..... Curtsey of bad mother

  4. I heard of a School named, "Yahoo school" in one South Western state, where Parents enrol their wards and empower them with Laptops and necessary tools to learn the trade of scamming people of their hard earned money...
This get rich quick syndrome is a canckerworn that needs to be corrected not just from Parents, but schools and religious institutions in Nigeria.

    1. Honestly some of this new generational parents don't care and are in full support of what their children does ..see those days when growing up,your parents will ask you where and what did you do to get money or gifts from! They will even lead to to the place to ascertain your claims..but this days,it's not so! Imagine a mother cheering on his son for fraud cos she wants to slay ,ride the best cars and all! Tueh!!

  8. Nigerians have a culture of impunity; a learned culture of impunity/iniquity.
A lot of parents receive monies from their kids; daughters they know has no job.
A lot of people here are guilty of this. When you, a lady plan with your boyfriend or
husband to go abroad and deceive a "white" lady with marriage to get papers so that you
will move over to replace her, what's the difference?

    2. Your last paragraph. It still shocks me till this day that some people say it like it's a normal thing. They don't see it as crime or wickedness; just some kind of hustle. That's how deeply callous their hearts are. Zero conscience!!
