ReplyDeleteTruth is that, I don't have friends let alone saying best friend. I just have people I know and grew up with that occasionally I can just greet or talk to if there is need. It's from house to work and work to house for me all week.

ReplyDeleteI used to have a best friend when I was at the Uni in Nigeria but after I left for the Uk i tried keeping in touch several times but she just wouldn't return back the positive energy. She wouldn't reply messages nor answer my calls until she was completely withdrawn. I still ask myself why she suddenly gone cold though.

Have one from secondary school and we attended same uni. We are still besties till date.
Have one I met in Uni, we’ve been close since then and still besties till date.
Then I have one I met when I was a teacher, she was also a teacher in same school. She was my chief bridesmaid and we are still besties till this very moment.
Last one, we became friends when I joined a football WhatsApp group. We’ve been besties since then. He played a huge role during my wedding sef. Has my back anytime any day. He’s married now and his wife and I have also become close/

ReplyDeleteAll the ones I thought were friends japaed when they thought my trials will not end. I had just one left that is my consultant , sister , prayer partner , helper and .most of all gets me and I just met one that's like my sister , so sweet , prayerful industrious and God sent. I have seasonal friendships as needed , as I have lived in various countries, so most times forget some , though not deliberately, and the ones I cut off are fake Nigerian and U.K. friends. My life is peaceful. My American friends and Dubai friends are the best. The U.K. Ones and Nigerian ones are always in a competition. Then the canadians ones are just there, we connect when necessary. The Holy Ghost is my highest confidant. Since I made hHim no.1 in my life, I entered my rest. Then my brothers. I am not close to any of my sisters.
ReplyDeleteHad a girlfriend before,she had a fallout with her own girlfriend ( a girl I never liked and never talked to where we all work ) and became my very good friend.she was even the one closest to me on my traditional marriage day and my girlfriend is someone I tell my secrets to but she settled her differences with her former girlfriend so I had to pull out from our friendship but I didn't tell her why cos I knw I will be there topic of discussion now she feels I got married and distanced myself .I love her but whenever she is with that girl her bad character comes out anyway I need my peace I don't want someone sharing my secret to someone else biko.pls did I do bad?
