ChrislandGATE - School Responds To Viral Video And Clears The Air On Alleged Pregnancy Test And Others..

Chrisland School has finally responded to the se#x tape involving minors in the school... The shocking video rocking the Internet was made in a Dubai hotel room by underaged children of the school...

The Press Release...

''We have followed up on reports making the rounds on certain developments bordering on the morals and ethics of some of the students under our care, who represented the school at the World School games, Dubai between 8 and 14 of March 2022.

While we understand the emotions this has generated, we assure the public that our first approach as an institution was to assume parental roles by offering support to those involved and ensuring that nothing affected their senses of esteem.

However, after a comprehensive evaluation of the situation, we cannot help but express how scandalised and distressed we feel as mothers, fathers and instructors with a relationship that holds a direct bearing on the development of those involved.

Nonetheless, we took a critical view of the number of students who partook in this recent trip and who did the school proud in our quest to expand the horizons of our students holistically through global exposure, which takes into account a wholesome development of the mind, body and spirit through sporting engagements. Of the 76 children who represented Chrisland, 71 ensured an untainted adherence to our standards, abiding with laid down regulations and code of conduct, while doing us very proud in the process. Within these 71, we kept our girls on the 11th floor and Boys on the 4th floor to draw clear lines that respect moral boundaries.

We were, however, compelled to engage with the parents of the remaining students who unfortunately got themselves involved in misconduct, and in accordance with our code of conduct processes, which are well known to the parents, we meted out measured reprimands to them to instill a sense of discipline and as deterrence to others. This was also to caution our students on the need to remain on the path of resisting wrong influences.

The disciplinary action was in order not to undermine our cohesive culture as a community of future leaders and committed instructors, but to be assertive in handing down the sort of discipline that seeks to correct and reform our children, when they stray from the path of rectitude.

While we hasten to affirm that as an institution that is managing children from diverse backgrounds, we cannot lay claim to, or embark on any sense of self-righteousness in our approach, but we learn and evolve within the frames of best practices every single day.

As such, as we recognise that there will always be space for improvement, we are therefore irrevocably committed to re-evaluating our processes to reinforce child protection protocols, even as we shall leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the senses of esteem of the children involved are uncompromisingly preserved. We have activated child protection processes and shall be engaging the expertise of child psychologists to ensure we translate this incidence to benefit the children in our care.

We are therefore not going to give room to sentiments that adopt less empathy in terms of the effects of the present situation on our children. We implore all of us as stakeholders to work together as build-up partners, rather than pull-down enablers. For every comment we make in this delicate period, we should remember that those involved are children and as such, they deserve our very responsible management of this situation in order not to affect their mental health, as we seek to clear this temporary fog in the path of their growth. This is why irrespective of currently charged emotions, we need to endeavor to keep our heads in focus, while carrying the authorities along in manners that leave nothing hidden, especially as we had nothing to hide.

We are proud to reassure our stakeholders that no rape of anyone or the administration of a pregnancy test on any child took place on our watch. For emphasis, only a COVID post travel test was conducted on the returning delegation of our students, in compliance with COVID-19 travel protocols, at the Life Centre Medical Services on March 21, 2022 at School Hall, Opebi.

This was through the nose swab test as consistent with COVID-19 health protocols. We trust that this can be verified at the source provided. To insinuate that a pregnancy test was carried out on a student, for whatever reason therefore, is a highly unfortunate conjecture.

Nevertheless, our processes would be readily opened up for the scrutiny of regulators and stakeholders at the earliest indication of this, to enable the course of scientific or forensic inspections. We are certain this will lay to rest any shred of doubt or hazy optic that the present flurry of activities might have occasioned.

Finally, we assure parents and guardians that we take unequivocal cognisance of the duty of care entrusted on us and we would never betray this, as we are more than ever resolved to work harder at keeping and building the trust reposed in us. We refuse to indulge in or give credence to the sentimental contrivances seeking to fuel this crisis the more with various renditions that have taken over the social media space.

The only account we are obligated to render is how well the children entrusted in our care have been managed, as we have excelled in doing in this past 45 years of our existence as an educational institution, and to ensure that in this whole development, the only winners here shall be this children''

  1. You do not care. The only thing you care about is being in business.

When that 2 year old girl was raped by your supervisor years ago, you told the whole world it was a lie. You hired a SAN quickly to try and shut the parents up. Does that sound like caring? The parents of that poor baby only got justice through the courts because they were unrelenting and had the finance to back it up. Thank God the bastard is rotting in jail.

That episode proved your school does not care at all. You took no responsibility then. How could you not see that it was your failure that led to that incident? That that poor child was left in your care and it was your job to keep her safe! Your school ought to have been shut down then. Even now, with this case you take no responsibility. How can you interrogate a minor without the parents present? How could you as a school after seeing that vidoe tell the mother it was just a kiss. For a whole month that video was flouting around and the parents had no idea! That girl was going to school and was being mocked and snared at. Is that how you care for your kids?

Nigeria rewards bad behaviour. This is clear. After the case of that 2 year old, no sane people should have left their child in your care! For the sole reason of how you acted and how you handled the situation. No wonder David H referred to them as "Toilet Elite". For all the money and exposure, their actions leave much to be desired.

Shutting down your school forever by the government is what should be demanded. You obviously have no business catering to kids.

    4. Thank you @Bini. In all of these (yes, I watched the video online folks; thank you), my greatest concern is about the "atmosphere and reactions" to the activity by the other students. Did I imagine it or were all the other students in that room "unbothered" about the activity going on? Conversations were going on seamlessly, people were moving around "laid back", no shock, no horror, simply unbothered as if those two were just doing a biology assignment? Iye meee!!! It shows there is a "porn epidemic" in that school and that is putting it mildly.

When my first child was still a toddler, my husband and I found it hard to do afternoon browsing even when the child was in his room sleeping or his nanny's room playing. Nearly a decade now and I'm still more comfortable with night "activity" than at other times except when we are ALONE in the house. I believe I might faint or be perpetually uncomfortable if caught "doing" by anyone, old or young. But these children were there, naked, doing stuff without a care in the world! Na dat one still dey shock me like current. When I recover, I'll know what to decide about the school, parents or government. Biko, somebody should borrow me big English. I am GOBSMACKED, "flabberwhelmed" and "overgasted". E choke! Ogeeeene bikooor!!

    5. QS! My husband gave me gist about one senior banker who had perfected his relocation with his family. Quite his banking job and his wife's job, sold all their properties and left Nigeria for good only to be asked for his phone at the airport over there. Lo and behold he had child porn on his phone and his wife and children were turned back while he was in jail for 9moths!!!

He said said someone shared it on a WhatsApp group he belonged to and he forgot to delete.

How is that man going to face life now?!

    6. I disabled the auto download feature on my whatsapp because of people that don't understand the implications of sharing these types of videos or pictures. A Nigerian showed her colleague at work a forwarded whatsapp video of a kid being molested and ended up losing her job and doing some jail time. It's not a joke. Even people commenting on social media that they've seen the video and the girl is this and that are obviously ignorant and should be advised to take down their posts. The person that posted the video is a compound fool. I haven't seen it and have no plans to.

I hope this brilliant write up isn't just for paperwork rather put into practice.

I like that they are open to having their processes reexamined by stakeholders. Once done, the matter will be settled as the truth will be exposed along side all liars in this case.

    1. It is what it is babe: a brilliant write-up. Finito. The mother is still either in shock, denial or deceit; the school hasn't been "totally honest" from the outset and that school's board will do everything "as usual" to cover up in order to protect not just the public image of the school but also the dignity of every child who ever attended the school and those who still do. The matter wey dey ground pass this their long grammar o.

  5. All I have to say in this matter is thank God for saving that little 11 year old boy life..

If there was no video and the girl wasn't ontop and riding like a pro,. These evil wicked people would have pushed the rape narrative,. You'll be hearing stuff like "she was scared and shocked, that's why she couldn't scream when the boy lie on top of her"..

They'll so cause an uproar and may even protest until the Simp government of Lagos state is forced to put the boy in a juvenile home..

They will have ruined that little boy's life..

How no one is talking about how a 11 year old boy was falsely alleged to be a rapist,. But only concerned on how to protect the older one who abused him only proves one thing..

This is why I will never believe ANY rape or domestic violence allegation until I hear from the other party..

Thank God for saving this boys life.. that's my only concern in this matter ✌️

And I'm happy it was the boys room she went to, cus if it were to be the girls room or maybe the corridor or someplace else, it would have been WORSE!!! They will twist it to make the girl the victim.
Even if the boy was on missionary on the girl in the boys room, they will say she was threatened or drugged.
I'm happy she was the one on top doing the work with a smile on her face.

    3. Dante I hate to agree with you but this is exactly my thought. I'm a mum of both sexes and alot can be debated but if the little girl was underneath and the boy was ontop we would all shout its clear rape. This is so messed up on so many levels. If it's abroad, once they are of the same age group its not rape because they are all under-aged. I just don't know what Ubi was trying to achieve and I watched the video of the mother and all I saw was a mother living in complete denial and would take no responsibility as a parent but rather blame everyone else.

      Delete
    4. Read to understand...they are both minors and the girl is just 10,the boy is 13.

Now to the issue on ground,it is obvious that this is not the girl's first time. While the school is to blame for this particular occurrence, the parents have their work cut out for them.little kids like this get access to phones and internet, without parental supervision they watch all sorts on the internet. Then that also comes to mind an adult too could have contaminated her before this video. I heard comments from the kids like "this one is 10,this on is 13, an other said me I want to sleep but they are disturbing me". See that girl was contaminated by an adult.

    5. REALLY?
Should'nt we be talking about how two children were involved in unwholesome act here and their need for serious physchological evaluation and reorientation. However the focus here is on the girl child alone. The boy involved has no business having sex with a girl at his age. That children of their age are comfortable having sex, begs a lot of question.
Clearly there is a serious problem here, bothering on the upbringing and unwholesome exposure these children have grown up in and not a case of trying to find who to lay the blame on.
What could have been done differently, by both parents and school. What can be done now? When we have exhausted these, then we can say, that pikin wey wan spoil go spoil.
The boy (boys) and the girl need serious therapy.

    6. Thank God for the boy o cos his name would have been tarnished and he would have had to go through life bearing the name of a rapist.

Just shows how people are quick to readily believe the male as an aggressor in cases like this.

      Food for thought

You're the one lacking understanding here..

The girl is 13 and the boy is 11.

The mother made a video lied that the girl is 10 and alleged that she was raped, ubi also posted same..

All other stuff you're saying is irrelevant to me like I already stated in my first comment,. I'm not concerned about fighting for the justice of any girl when we turn a blind eye to that of a boy..

The boy's parant should be suing the girls mother by now..

This woke nonsense you people are always forming is not allowing most of you have sense,. I watch the video of JJC skills son the other day,. The foolish boy was saying all he needs is justice.. justice for what exactly, that his father should be jailed or he should be compensated? Doesn't he know his father also needs justice for him wasting Monies paying expensive school fees only for him to get expelled.. Werey.. Him papa even apologize to am for airport sef.. where you won see apology from my own papa after him discipline you.. if you still do anyhow you go collect again.. rubbish.. if I was JJC I go even burn him passport sec, make I come see as him go take go back that UK.. all of dem head no correct

    11. Anon 12:12, you are on point, this is a wake up call to all of us parents, adults and society at large, parenting is now much much more difficult that it used to be, that girl has been groomed by an adult and I've been so sad since I heard this story, they all need rehabilitation and the girl's mother is making things worse by publicizing it the more. That was clearly not a rape but a result of bad exposure and grooming. All the kids need therapy and rehabilitation, the girl needs to be on suicide watch. God help us.

Social media 'likes' is now everything...and yet the enablers and other females that are quick to support anything will Never pause to face the uncomfortable truths.
There's no need for excuses here. That girl is a 'WEREY', a complete wayward that probably learnt in the internet, perfected her skills with people of like disposition and has become a 'star' at present. Her mom can continue living in denial, supported by the school of fish brains that abounds these days.
The story is so upsetting. Saw her tiktok videos and frankly, her parents need to be invited by child social services for complete and utter negligence.

Trip to Dubai is not the problem, this same incidence can take place in school rest room where no one would have an idea of what happened.

    1. Thank you! The mother was ill-advised about that her video. She obviously didn't speak with a lawyer or probably didn't take the counsel of the one she spoke with. Many people wouldn't have recognised the girl outside (her looks moght even seriously change in 3 to 10 years from now) but her mother's face out there "confirms" exactly who the daughter is. Mama Juliana seriously jumped the gun.

  10. Whilst the parents of this unfortunate girl have a significant share of the blame in this heartbreaking story, that should not obscure the poor and unprofessional manner with which the school handled this.
At the very least, they should have instantly communicated to the parents and ensured they could do all they could to ensure this girl is rehabilitated.
A school is a gathering of pupils of different personalities, from different backgrounds. Some are well trained, some aren't. It beats me why schools are always anxious to protect what they think is their reputation by keeping things from parents, or not ensuring the interests of the child are paramount.
And this is not the first time, Chrisland will be enmeshed in a scandal such as this. They should have learnt.

Whether the girl is a pro or not, the school should have contacted the parents of all the students involved in this scandal, let them know what their wards have been up to and update them on the action that will be taken.

Why were they giving the mom information in bits and pieces? Why? Another parent actually told her!!! The school didn't want a scandal and that is absolutely fine but they were wrong to hide this from her parents.

How do you rehabilitate her when you arehiding such a serious issue from her parents? Pathetic!!

Where was the chaperone in all of this? She took a lift down or they met somewhere else. I have had to take students from my school in the East to Abuja a number of times. What did I not do to keep my eye on the girls? In one instance I slept in the NYSC hostel in Kubwa with the. I slept in the same hotel room with them in another instance. I was doing all that because they were at that time, my responsibility and tufiakwa, should anything go wrong, the school would have thrown me under the bus. Parents would ask for my blood. The school would would be sued, I would lose my job but he brouhaha surrounding the whole wahala would have been too much for me to handle.

I see some comments strongly suggesting the girl has been corrupted previously by an adult, you cant hurriedly conclude on that.
Have you been privileged to attend these youngsters party? Their dance moves are mostly sensual and energetic to the beats, they move just as good as the adults, even better than most adults in my opinion.
Fortunately, kids are very good listeners and rapid learners, that's why its advised to be conscious of what you do or say around kids, their minds are depicting an empty box constantly looking to be filled, as a parent, you have an unwavering and untiring effort to ensure it's not filled with garbage, cus it'd stick like the newly learnt language.
It's possible those kids learnt it all from their exposure to adult materials on the internet, and perfected the act.
We cant conclude based on her skillful performance that she was molested sexually prior to what was seen on that distasteful video.

So a child who is 10 will be wearing seductive clothing with waistbeads, where are you as a parent? You don't ask questions. People are unearthing her kid's videos from an App called Likee, i have never even heard of it. The woman should not be feigning ignorance, then that is bad if she doesn't know that her child is wayward. Is she even her real mum? So no one on this planet has told her of her daughter's social media presence and try to follow up on what the daughter is up to? Shame, shame.

My comment is just on parenting, i know the school also has things to answer for.
