Lagos State Govt Shuts Down All Branches Of Chrisland Schools After Viral Video Causes Outrage

The Lagos state govt has reacted to the horror story coming out of Chrisland Schools....

The statement reads:

“The attention of the Lagos State Government has been drawn to the alleged sexual violence case involving students of Chrisland Schools which occurred in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It is pertinent to note that all allegations are being investigated by the relevant Ministries, Departments and Agencies, including the Ministry of Education, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Ministry of Justice and the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency, whilst the criminal allegations have been escalated to the Commissioner of Police.

In view of the allegations, we are committed to ensuring that adequate medical and psycho social support is provided.

This is to reassure members of the public of the State Government’s commitment to safety and child protection, especially in ensuring
that all child-centred institutions within the state, formulate and implement policies and systems that are compliant with the Executive Order (NO.EO/AA08 of 2016), Lagos State Safeguarding and Child Protection Program.

We also use this medium to remind the general public that any person who engages in any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a child, commits an offence and is liable to a custodial sentence of fourteen (14) years. This includes “producing, distributing, receiving, or possessing an image of child pornography.

In the meantime, all Chrisland Schools within Lagos State are hereby closed, pending further investigations.”

    1. Do you know the parents of the boys can claim the girl spoilt their sons and it was their first time? The woman wasn't wise at all. The school is not supposed to be your enemy but your "partner" in raising your kids. If there are lapses, you meet the school and iron things out so that the child is corrected and then you move forward. See how she threw herself under the bus while trying to get at the school. Mtcheew. I just dey vex with all these people wey like to dey put all their lives for sm. A lot of parents now may tell their kids not to distance themselves from the girl as they could tag her a bad influence? Do you know the damage it can cause to the girl?
BTW I must salute the school for their discipline and trying to conceal the matter as par young lives are involved (in order not to tarnish the image of this young ones). If not for this woman, the kids would have been disciplined just between the school and the parents. No one else would have known but no, she exposed herself and especially her daughter whom I pity. How can you expose things like these without proper verification and investigation knowing fully well that a young child is involved? Imagine my young child being discussed on sm for some nonsense play of which she has been disciplined. Haba!!! please parents love your kids. Don't just birth them to fit in ejor. If you're not ready for them, don't birth them. Womb watchers too repent cos you are also part of the reasons why parents birth children they are not ready to love and take care of. She was so insensitive

    4. Anon 20:59, I wish I can like your comment one million times. Do not have kid's when you're not ready. Don't have kid's because age is not on your side. Don't have kid's because of old age. I pity this generation.

      Delete
    5. @ 20.59, the school erred by not informed the girl's parents. They would have managed this whole thing better.

I am sure the parents almost went into shock when they eventually heard. They even heard from another parent.

Shouldn't the school have invited the girl's parents to have a one on one with them? She was the last to know and you are still blaming her when her 10 year old daughter's sex video is everywhere!!

      Delete
    6. No one could have known 20:59? Something that was immediately being circulated on social media? The school definitely shares in the blame, absolving them of their responsibilities puts other children at risk in the future.

Since this is not the first time that they have been mentioned involving a scandal concerning a minor, they have to be scrutinised very well by authorities. Everything should be done to ensure that the young lives put in their care are protected at all costs. This very child people are calling useless can still be moulded to become a productive member of society. Parents should also be very vigilant and involved in their children's lives to avoid 'had I known'.

    7. Ms abroadian they did inform them. All the others complied but she. She wanted to prove a point but see where the scandal has resulted. People are only rushing to attack the school forgetting the trauma the child will face in the future. (This is about the girls life not the school now). This wasn't rape but some nonsense "play". Forget all those people shouting and raising hash tags. If this same girl (with this fame) is given admission into another school and parents of that school get to find out, the same hash taggers will make sure their kids are distanced from her as they'll tag her "bad influence". forget all the sm rantings. These same Nigerians will stigmatize the girl by telling their kids to distance themselves from her. That woman killed her daughter unknowingly by not complying. Yes the school was negligent but blowing it was a very wrong move. I don't blame a commenter that even called for her arrest sef. smh. That's why I keep saying LET THIS MATTER DIE DOWN "for the sake of that young girl (and the boys too)"

I can't wrap my head around how much boarding Schools will have one this Internet and social media generation.

I went to an all girls school and I tell you lesbianism was the order of the day (4m JSS1 sef; they are doing things with their school mums or friends).

And then JSS1's were like 9/10yrs.

Truth is nothing is new. Kids are so curious with raging hormones. Parents and school can't honestly be everywhere. You do your best and leave the rest for God.

The girl's mum should have died this matter after seeing that video. With the circulated video nobody would have guessed it was even her child.

They would have just disciplined her properly at home in my own opinion.

Strokes "on the palm alone" for serious offenses are still ideal (though excessive strokings or stroking in anger is never ideal as the child would feel disconnected instead). Why have we as a society sunk so low as to ask to see and judge the rape of a child (because a child under 18yo cannot give consent and sex under 18yo is classified as rape)? No empathy, no wisdom, just condemnnation of the child and her parents.
Tufiakwa. That is wickedness and I weep for that child, and I'm thankful I know no one in real life who would send or ask for a video like that and even defend his/her right to watch it.

Do u know the weight of social media in the life we are now?

Do u know the weight of rape allegations esp on a minor?

Do u know the impact this issue has had on the reputation of the sch?

The mother of the girl is very foolisj because she thought she could teach d sch a lesson by exposing them, not knowing she poured more fuel with that yeye interview she did. Didnt she see her daughter doing adult stuff in the vidoe? You cried rape on a minor and then the video came out in full light just to show the world the gir wasnt raped.

If the girl was raped, do u know its likely chrisland will be burnt by now? Social media judgement is what theparents wanted to use, they would have just appreciated the school and withdrawn the girl, take her for therapy. Without watching the video, no one would have had a glimpse of the truth. Now,damage has bn done on the girl longtime going by d video.. nd we know, so its not a case of falsely accusing ppl of rape. Its a case of parental negligence from the beginning. So pls park well. The video is a huge eye opener to the rot in our midst. A 10yrs old knows how to reverse swiftly evrn more than an adult? Abeg park well with your hypocrisy. Shame on her parents.

    5. Everyone is screaming school, Dubai, proper monitoring? I'm very disgusted with the mother's interview. You are the primary disciplinarian in your children's lives. What is school? It's a business for many. Don't be quick to shift your responsibilities to nanny, helps and school. Play with your children, gain their trust. Be a mother and friend. This is truly sad and disturbing. My child must tell me where how and who introduced her to those sinful acts. That girl in question, do u know how many children she might have molested and introduced to her lifestyle? If your children have been friends with her, now is the time to find out what they know and discipline. Be careful who we let close to our children. This world is very disturbing

  10. There are questions Chrisland Schools are to provide...
    1. Where were the officials of Chrisland Schools that accompanied the students to Dubai when the incident happened?
    2. Did they lodge them in the same room?
    3. How did they give them much freedom to engage in this act without detection?
    4. Could it be that the officials abandoned them to their freedom and far of to supervise them?
    5. Why did the school carry out pregnancy test on the girl, 10 years old and a minor without the consent of her parents?
    6. What was their intention and what did they want to cover up?
    7. Why did the school not invite the parents to intimate them what transpired?
    8. Why did an official of the school threaten the girl not to tell the parents what happened in Dubai?
    9. Why is the school just coming up on 14th April with suspension letter to the girl for incident that took place in March.
The police needs to dig deep into this to unveil the real story.
Seems the truth is being shielded.

    5. According to one of the parents that accompanied his ward to the said competition in Dubai
"they were in a hotel where other schools stayed at, to avoid stories that touch like this, they made sure the boys room was on the 10th floor and the girls 2nd floor. The teacher did their parade 3-5 times daily making sure they were al in their rooms. there were over 70kids to 5-6 teachers(These teachers went through hell trying to get them together).but for you to know how badly behaved these kids were, they waited till after midnight(after the last roll call) to get their nasty acts on ......"

You can't prevent kids from being mischievous by watching them 24/7, the only way to avoid such is to bring them up in godliness. A child that fears the Lord won't engage in such act in the first place.

Because if it is from home, is it still not affecting other children in the school? Years back there was a particular school where a full grown married teacher will take toddlers in nursery school to the toilet to defile them. He continued till he was caught and sacked. Another school will still employ that one unknowingly. This sex offenders register thing is very important in this country.

  14. Let me state this again: do not watch or share the video making rounds. Viewing or possessing any images or depictions of children in sexual situations is illegal and punishable under law. What the kids did may be immoral, but you are doing by watching, is immoral, illegal and criminal. To even desire to watch such is perversion, we are the society we accuse. Pls report any pages that share the video. That's why I respect this blog - SDK never shares any videos at all. In her initial report, she talked about the letter and didn't even mention the existence of a video - that is professionalism!

For those who ask 'so how do we know what really happened'? It is not for you to know. You are neither judge nor jury on the matter. The only people who may even are the the judge who presides over the case in court, then MAYBE parents of the kids or authorized personnel at the institution. Not even journalists, or news channels can watch or post. It is not everything our flesh desires, that we feed it. Every curiosity must not be satisfied, everything is not 'gist' - that is discipline and self-control. If you mistakenly see, close your eyes, scroll past, delete and report. How can you have moral authority over the school or parents when you 'watched'? Don't you see the hypocrisy?

The stigma! The shame!

  15. NIGERIA, ONE WEEK ONE TROUBLE!!!

The government left public schools to rot.
The elites kept silent thinking their child are safe in private schools.

Some of the parents/elites send their children to private schools home and abroad with looted funds.

The private schools are in business for the money so they come up with these stupid escursions to foreign countries to 'con' money out of the looting elites.

Their untrained children raised with looted funds and zero morals get to these private schools and end up in cults, underaged sex, drugs and all sorts of vices.
    The vicious cycle continues.
The eagle has come home to roost.

He who sows the wind, shall reap the whirlwind.
    God forsaken society!

Several years ago, I was on a trip to Paris and saw some of these pupils on escursion zboard the same flight. They hzd just a male and female teacher. I wondered ALOUD why parents would allow a school take their children/minors out of the country. WHAT ESCURSION!!!

Both the parents and school management are TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE for allowing minors go on such silly trips!

They didn't take any responsibility then and they haven't now. These people have no business running a school! They must be held accountable!

  17. The 10 years girl should be interrogated thoroughly with her parents' presence. She is sexually active, that don't look like rape.

If the video didn't go viral online, would we know about the sexual escapades of a 10 years old girl from Chris land school. She must be popular in her area and to her peers.

Her mother is trying to cover face by claiming rape and blaming the school. Girl knows what she was doing.

  18. Few weeks ago while teaching Geo in SS2 class, i observed 2 or 3 of my students were not paying attention.
They were so busy passing pieces of papers to themselves.i pretended as if i didnt see them
While they were busy passing d papers i walked straigbt to one of them and collected d pieces of paper and went through wat she wrote
Girl A: if i catch corper Z (a serving corper in d school, i will deal with him)
I was shocked wondering what he had done wrong
I got d details wen i collected d remaining pieces of paper from them
Girl B : i will grind and wine him
Girl C : i will fuck him hard bla bla bla
I took them to the G & C for counseling
Their parents were involved too to talk to them on implications of early sex
I also tell them d ugly and d beautiful sides of sex
One of them came to thnk me later and i realised she wrote those things thinking by doing dat she has become a big girl too

PS: children are the sweetest and most delicate things to deal with

  20. Stella, the best person to interview the girl's mother is SDK. The mum know her daughter well, her rape outcry backfired.

Ubi didn't help matters, he overexposed the girl. I hope she gets counsel and help, after a confession is gotten out of her... Where is her dad in all of this drama.

    1. Stella is a trained journalist, not some fly by night, social media hurry come up. Better to let the authorities deal with this especially when a young minor is involved. This case should not be for public consumption due to the sensitive nature of it.

The case will likely be closed with respect to the child's age. The only thing the public may hear is the decision on Chrisland, not the children. And that is the way it should be!

the kids involved in such nonsense should be thoroughly flogged , suspending or expelling them is not enough at all. flog that bad spirit out of those kids with better koboko. what is their business with sex at their age? 😠😠😠

    1. Discipline is meant to start from as early as when a child is a toddler. If done correctly, JJC wouldn't have needed to punch the living day light out of a 17 year old. Believe me when I tell you that at that age, it's pretty much too late to mold a child (using violence). So yes, I will criticize his method again and again.

  26. As for the trumpeter Who be Franklin, you only succeeded in making things worse for the girl and her parents, the whole thing has escalated with videos everywhere, no thanks to your trumpet mouth. instead of you to advise the kids' parents not to show their face in the first place and prevent further exposure of their information from the general public, you carry camera shook for the girl mama face, now the whole world have seen her face and know their identity which the school tried to protect. the nonsense video wasn't in circulation until you involved yourself in the issue.

Many of us won't watch the nonsense video but we are definitely going to watch the mum's interview and see the mum's face which is as good as seeing the child's face.

  27. I have not seen any video and I'm not even willing to see it but from all I have gathered online, these were group of kids( probably all below 15) having an ORGY. I can't even wrap my head around it, I'm a mother of 3 and I have never and ill never have sex with another person being in the same space talk more of willingly being nude and probably fucking different partners at the same time. Where did this moral decadence spring from? No fear at all...and to even have the temerity to video the abormination and post it online...kids...hmm.

And this Truth or Dare game or whatever it's called, what is it and how is it played? I have only heard BBN HMs talk about or play it but the few times I watched I couldn't understand what they are doing and usually change channel. This is a game a 10yr old is playing... something I don't even understand. Uwa mmebi. Let everyone do their job ooo... parents, teachers, society, religious organization.., sit up and do what's supposed to be done. Stop expecting teachers to do theirs and do yours...teachers are already over stressed already.

  28. See all of them hypocrites!!! I guard my eyes and ear gates! That's how you people post explicit sex conversations on this blog forgetting that kids have access to anything these days! All have you that watched the video will have yourselves to blame, because you just opened up yourselves to the invasion of paedophilia demons, especially if you are a pregnant woman. That little girl , you all are calling a pro is under serious demon possession , which would have come through her having access to porn at a very young age. Chris land must face the music, because that video was made in Dubai, when that little girl was supposed to be under supervision. I like the mother's response of not allowing Chrisland to go free. It is a shame that you will cover up such an act that happened under your jurisdiction and be blaming the parents. That video was made while the girl was in custody of Chrisland in an excursion, in far away Dubai, not under her parent's roof ;hence Chrisland schools is liable. Please if you know, you cannot behave like a mother hen over your children, don't have kids. I pray for the little girl and her family, that the Holy Spirit comforts them and help them at this time . I will be having her in my prayers.

  29. That girl doesn't know that the act was wrong and that is where help should start from. They need to find out the first time she had sex and with whom. She needs to undergo a lot of counselling. Even though the school is responsible for the kids since they took them out of the country, her mother should not have brought the issue to social media. As long as that girl does not realise that the act is wrong, she may continue. And for the fact that she has been exposed, then she'll become an easy prey for any boy or man. Ubi should have been very sure of what transpired before raising up the issue. As long as there was a video of the act, they should've contacted a lawyer and sue the school. I feel so sad for that girl. She has a long way to recovery.

  32. My dear...no matter how much you train your kids at home, don't underestimate the impact of peer pressure. If you like program bible into their heads, when they are out with their peers, it is a different ball game. While you discipline your kids, watch out for her association as well. The best they can do is reset to their good boy/girl when are home. Afterall if not for the video, the mom might not have known that the daughter can ride better than a pornstar.

  33. I had to look for the video..

She was the only girl the room with about 4 guys or more.

One of the boys said "he can't do this shit"
So it is possible they gave her an aphrodisiac to take but it is also clear she wasn't a virgin.

My guess is one of the boys already had sex with her before that day.

Her parents need to own up to their fault and also the school. The boys parents also need to take responsibility for their kids.

Another thing is we don't discipline our kids and also why give phones with internet capabilities to kids at 10yrs?

When we have every one now showing butts and boobs online. Porn is everywhere
Musician with sex tape and not bothered
