  1. The Holy Spirit - The Power Of Our Message!!
    Luke 4:18.

    Excerpts!!

"No matter how much you love Jesus and how much you're touched by the need to preach the Gospel to sinners in the world, if you're not filled with the Holy Spirit it won't work"

"If you've received the Holy Spirit already, that's just the beginning. You have to know Him; you have to walk in and with Him. He has to become a constant part of your life"

"Remember, the power of our message isn't in the shouting, nor is it in the the ability to use many words. The power of our message is the Holy Spirit"

    Prayer!!

Dear Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and guides me in the path of your perfect will for me. I'm turned on from within by His divine power, which energizes me and fills me with courage to reach my world with the Gospel, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

  2. DO GOOD WHENEVER YOU CAN

'To him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.' James 4:17 NKJV

We tend to focus on sins of 'commission' - the wrong we do. But what about sins of 'omission' - the good we fail to do? In Christ's parables, when someone was condemned, it was often over a sin of omission. A man was put out of a wedding because he had no wedding garment (see Matthew 22:12). Five virgins were excluded from the wedding party because they'd no oil in their lamps (see Matthew 25:3-11). A servant who buried his talent in the ground instead of using it, forfeiting it (see Matthew 25:25-28). A rich man who failed to care for his neighbour was condemned for it (see Luke 16:19-24). A barren fig tree that failed to produce fruit was cursed and died (see Mark 11:20-24).
You say, 'But I'm interested in a deeper spiritual life.' Well, the deepest spiritual life is one spent doing good to others! And it's the basis on which you'll be judged and rewarded. 'Then the King will...say... "I was hungry, and you didn't feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn't give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn't invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn't give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn't visit me." Then they will reply, "Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?" And he will answer, "I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me"' (Matthew 25:41-45 NLT).
So when you've a chance to do good - do it!

    1. Thank you for the reminder Essa. Indeed we've become fixated with ensuring not to be "bad", focusing on doing good is actually to solution to "not doing bad".

Hmm, reflecting on the good I'll intentionally do today.

  3. PRAYER FOR NIGERIA
    All powerful and merciful Father,
You are the God of justice, love and peace.
You rule over the nations of the earth.
Power and might are in your hands and no one can withstand you.
We present our country Nigeria before you.
We praise and thank you for you are the source of all we have and are.
We are sorry for all the sins we have committed
and for the good deeds we have failed to do.
Lord, we are weighed down not only by uncertainties,
but also by moral, economic and political problems.
Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn to you,
    Our God of infinite goodness,
    our strength in adversity,
    our health in weakness,
    our comfort in sorrow;
be merciful to us your people.
Spare this nation Nigeria from chaos, anarchy and doom.
Bless us with your kingdom of justice, love and peace.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord.πŸ™

The devil is out on your life solely to destroy your testimony, hence, disqualifying you from being a possessor.

  13. This is not funny at all. So I’ve been trying to book for something at one institute like that. For the past two weeks, I have been coming and once I get here, tickets would have finished even after getting here 30mins before they open. So a friend advised me to play the baby card. So as early as 6, I wear cloth (baff ke), brush teeth and carry a sleeping Alex dump inside stroller (I’m sorry love). After walking about 9 mins to the the train station, I realised I had forgotten a vital thing, my wig and earring. Jesus Christ! I don’t even have a decent hair on my head, just one small calabar that I did by myself and packed into two buns and e don even old sef, plus my hair dey natural. But who cares, I had to get to the front of the queue.

Got to this institute at past 7 (they open at 9) and the line was even longer than the last time I came. My friend sha said I should just push myself and my stroller to the front of the queue. Found one line that said priority and I don dey number one for there. I will sha remain here. I hope Alex starts to cry when they start letting people in.

The job of a parent is to have their kids back, e no mean say the kid sef no fit scratch their back when needed 😝

If you all notice, Atiku is just cruising. His body language shows that he wants to score a political point. He may as well continue in the line of his brother, if given the chance. I don't even know what to ask for for Nigeria. Sad

    6. Women!!!
You people complain too much. When you were about getting married , you are fully aware that taking care of the home and kids are what you signed up for.
You also know that your husband is not the type that do house work before you agree to be his wife.
If you are tired, teach your kids how to help you with work or divorce your husband, leave the kids with him and go live a single and sleeping life since sleep is your utmost priority.

How many times have you ladies seen men complaining of providing or that their wife don't support financially?

      May God heal your baby.
