Nigeria~s President Buhari Says He Has No Inheritance To Leave Behind For His Family After Tenure Expires..
. President Muhammadu Buhari has told his immediate family, particularly, his children that he is not leaving anything for them to inherit. Buhari, who is expected to bow out of office as President in May 2023, insisted that the only legacy he hopes to bequeath to them is proper education.

ReplyDeleteHmmm. What can I say? What further legacy do they need? Your office as president opened doors of opportunities for them. You married the girls into families whose wealth and establishments will last for a very long time. They had opportunities for the best jobs.
ReplyDeleteWe nko, we as struggling civil servants gave our children the same education but in the end where are we? No job opportunities, the economy is harsh for business with little capital.

To even leave a legacy of righteous and honesty is hard these days because the average young person has seen so much injustice and corruption going on in Nigeria. They have become disillusioned and they no longer want to accept that things like honest, truthfulness, integrity etc are virtues that could be passed on as legacy apart from material wealth.
Thanks for this. You saved me from typing. Buhari's daughter that died in 2011 before he became president, about 6 billion naira was found in her account. How? She will just go to the offices and collect contract as per former head of state's daughter and no one questioned her obviously. Buhari himself was shocked and asked how is daughter could have amassed such wealth when he only had 150 cows.
