  1. We're On The Winning Side!!
    Mathew 13:44.

"The whole world belongs to Jesus. He bought the whole field.
His dominion and rulership over the world is absolute"

"This means the whole world belongs to us, because we're heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Romans 8:17. It's the reason we can tame this world and keep it under our dominion, in line with God's purpose. It's the reason we can completely forbid Satan and his cronies of darkness from wreaking havoc upon nations"

"Mantain your focus on the Word of God; let nothing move you. You're on the winning side"

    Confession!!

The Lord Jesus occupies the most exalted position there is; He's seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all principality and power, might, dominion, and every name that is named, and I'm in Him! I'm seated with Him in glory, with dominion over Satan and the princes of darkness. Hallelujah!

    Further Study:
    Psalm 149:5-9; Luke 10:19.

  2. IS YOUR LOVE FOR GOD COLD?

'You don't love me or each other as you did at first!' Revelation 2:4 NLT

One of Paul's letters was to the church at Ephesus. They were spiritual, doctrinally sound and exemplary in their love for Christ. Then Jesus says to that same church years later, 'You don't love me or each other as you did at first! Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first' (Revelation 2:4-5 NLT).
Has your love for God grown cold? Then you must go back to where you first met him and seek him again like you did before you had heard so much and seen so much; before the pressures of life had worn you down. 'But I'm busy doing the Lord's work,' you say. Beware; busyness and barrenness go hand in hand! Three times Jesus asked Peter, 'Do you love me?' Finally, Peter said, 'Lord, you know all things; you know [the extent to which] I love you' (John 21:17 NKJV).
Oswald Chambers said, 'Beware of anything that competes with loyalty to Jesus Christ. The greatest competitor of devotion to Jesus is service for him.' When Peter decided to go fishing that night, he may have been making a decision to get away from everything and go back to where he first met the Lord. That's a good move if you also seek the Lord there! When you get discouraged, you will either go back to the One who can save, keep and satisfy, or you will go back to whatever was going on in your life before you met him. That's not a good move! Why? Because the Bible says Peter fished all night and caught nothing.

My dad is the one that suggested she come over as she has been to hospitals without positive change in her health. She came over after few days my father did not allow us rest. One midnight he called that if we did not allow my mother come back the next day he will kill himself. He said he is tied of staying alone. Hmmmmmm. This woman has an appointment with the doctor the next day. She woke up and told us she is going. Mind you we did not discuss what my father said with her. All efforts to make her see her doctor before going home proved abortive. She refused to eat throughout that day. We had no option than to allow her go. Some parents love is so deep and a mystery.

  5. A man from my place who lived in Port Harcourt passed on not too long ago but hasn't been buried. He was married with children and built the house in which he lived till he passed on. He wasn't just a brother to my late Father but a friend as well.

May their souls continue to find rest in God.

Here in Rivers State, precisely in an Ikwerre community, a stranger is not allowed to die in their land. On this term, the Ikwerre indigenes drafted out a law that any stranger who dies in their communities, the family will pay the sum of 100 thousands naira, four tubers of yams, one chicken and a hot drink to appease their lands.

This law has been in existence for a long time as I heard.

They don't care to know if the family of the deceased are poor or what even killed the person rather all they want is that money, tubers of yams etc. The way they gloat over the money will make you think they actually love seeing strangers dieing in their communities.

They have people who goes on surveillance on the daily, keeping their ears on the ground to know when and where there will be shout and cries from bereaved families.

A man from Rivers state but not from the Ikwerre clan who knows about this unholy act being carried out by these community boys, told the family of my late father's friend and brother not to wail or shout the day it was confirmed he had passed on in his residence.

The wife had to hold her tears and shout, while they look for a means to take the man out from his house to the mortuary and thereafter will tell people he died in the hospital.

  16. These community boys knew the man was very sick as they have often seen the wife at home taking care of him and the man no longer goes out for business.

Before his death, some of them usually visits to sympathize with the wife but on a disguise to know the situation of things. They saw his condition and understand the chances of survival is very slim. So they were expectant of the money and all what they stand to get.

Armed with the information already received, about the laws of the host community, the wife and children played a smart one on them when the man finally passed on.

That day the son brought a car and sat him in the back as if he was still alive and then crossed his hand on him in a disguise they were going to the hospital for treatment. That was how he was taken away from home and the wife held her tears and shout.

While away from home, the son called some of his father's friend and brothers from the same village who came to the location they were that night and after briefing them, an Ambulance was arranged from a hospital that took him all the way to his home town in the East and deposited in the morgue.

When the information was sent that the man had passed on by the family to neighbors and people, these community boys rushed over in a pretence of sympathizing and enquired how it all happened.

The wife told them he died in the hospital and has been deposited in the morgue.

They left and the next day another set came and was asking secretly around the neighborhood to ascertain the exact place the man died. When they couldn't get the answer they sought after, they asked the woman making it the second time. "Was it in the house he died"?

The woman got provoked and walked them out asking them what sort of stupid question is that. If they came to sympathize with her or to know how and where her husband died. She began crying.

That was the last time they visited.

Isn't this the height of insensitivity from this host communities?

    Great Morning Guys πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

Also calling kids "my wife or my small husband" should not be acceptable. Lapping a child by visitors is a πŸ‘Ž. It's a crazy world out there,so let us play our parts as parents.

Recently, my child went somewhere with my elder brother,he calls him uncle and those people told him he was wrong that he is supposed to address him as big daddy.
My friends will always address me as mummy to their kids even before I gave birth.
I think it's part of our culture, those titles are only meant for those that are not close to you.

  24. In marriage, don't threaten your partner because of things they can't control.
This couple, after 2 years of dating, decided to get married. The girlfriend told the boyfriend that they should go for fertility test because she is suspecting him that he can't father a child.
Her reason was that she has not taken in after 2 years of unprotected sex and the guy is relaxed about it and not worried like other guys.
The guy asked her, what if they go for the test and the test shows he can't father a child, what will she do, she said the marriage will be cancelled because she can't marry an impotent man.
Long story short, fertility test result came out and the lady was the one with the problem and the guy said he won't marry her again.
The lady has been begging but the guy said that initially he suspected his girlfriend that she has fertility issue, but he kept calm and accepted her whole hearted, but the lady made it clear that she will walk away if he is the one with the problem, but now the table has turned, so he will serve her a taste of her medicine.

What ever his decision is, I don't blame him.
