  1. Yes it's effective. God told Abraham, I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you. God himself curse Cain into wandering.

    So Yes curse exist.

  2. I've a true life story about the effectiveness of a curse placed on someone and he lived all the rest of his life under that curse and finally died just the way the curse was pronounced on him but can't really type all of it now.

An effective curse can only be broken in two ways and they are both spiritual.
    1. By the power of God through Christ and
    2. Traditionally.

  3. What you believe in works for you;also I believe life is what you personally make out of it..

Curses to me are mere words, but when you position yourself in that negativity and believe it;it begins to manifest in “their” life..

I however believe in blessings and position myself for every time anyone says “God bless you” or anything that connotes positivity..

It works for me,doesn’t mean any other person will have same mindset as mine;but like I explained earlier;I believe life is what you “personally” make out of it..

    1. We are talking about "curses" not just "mere words".There really is power in spoken words. Its a different ball game if you are innocent of the curses,of course it would have no effect but if someone curses from the bottom of his or her heart due to something grievous done to him or her, their will be a recupersions. I know of a lady who went naked and swore for a guy,his life was shattered. It didn't happen immediately, it was just little by little until he didn't understand what was happening anymore, after going from place to place in search of solutions, he was told same thing,to go sought and beg for forgiveness.
I've also heard of a woman who swore for a man that he will never hear the cry of a baby in his house, guyman thought it was a joke until he got married, then he knew whats up, he had to go plead. Some people are actually moving with the effect of curses but they don't know it yet.
Just as blessings are effective,so are curses. Sometimes they happen immediately, sometimes they take time to manifest.

    2. A causeless curse will not align, meaning a well-deserved curse will work until it is consciously broken. Knowing Martins, he isn't likely to ever do anything that will deserve a curse so this his mindset is in order.

I will say be positive minded but also mindful in your dealings so you don't bring a well-deserved curse upon yourself.

    5. The blood pf Jesus and true repentance breaks all curses and yokes. Who is he that speaketh, when the Lord God of Hosts has not spoken...Halleluyah!

  4. Just As Blessings are effective so are Curses. Death and Life are in the power of the Tongue says the Holy Book and those that love it shall eat thereof. So you choose which?

  5. Yes.
I believe it's what we call karma,You can run but can't hide when it comes knocking.

    1. I think they're two different things. Karma is you believing there will be a recupersion one way or the another to someone who has wronged you but the thing with karma is that it doesn't always work that way. I personally do not believe in it.
But curses you see are a bit powerful because they're done with intentionality. Imagine going naked in the middle of the night to call someone's name, laying all sorts of "curses", saying it will never be well with that person etc. My dear the only way to escape it is if you are innocent, or you go seek forgiveness. It can also be broken through spiritual means or whatever you believe in.Its almost like invokation.
So,I think everyone should be careful how they go destroying another person so you never can tell what might be working against you.
Curses are little trickish tho, sometimes they even affect the innocent.

  6. I don't believe in curses because they do not exist, if any one curse me out I do reject them immediately.

    1. If you say you don't believe it as a personal belief, I will understand with you but saying it doesn't exist, I think you're not right or being economical with the truth. Do you know even Christ cursed the unproductive fig tree? You know by the next day the tree was dead when His disciples passed that route and drew His attention to it.

Do you know God cursed the serpent to crawl on its belle? Man to toil for his living and the woman pains through childbirth. What about Cain?

      Should I go on?

    2. EC, you have contradicted yourself, if you don't believe curses exist, why are you now rejecting it if someone curses you out, you could have ignored or wave it aside as they don't exist according to your first sentence.

Words are powerful, wether good thoughts or bad thoughts. That's why we should be mindful of our words.
Provb. 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

  8. I believe in blessings and curses cos the positive cannot exist without the negative. Good deeds attract blessings and your guess is as good as mine on what evil deeds attract.
However I believe that the curse causeless cannot come, something must trigger it, if anyone tried to curse you without a legal ground, it's ineffective. One must have done something ignorantly or deliberately before it manifests and that's why we need the blood of Jesus to plead for us while also trying our best to live righteously.

  9. Everyone is not created the same, some are born with special gift and the best thing is for everyone to mind how you deal or treat people around you.

In our tongue 👅 lies the power of life and death, blessings and curses 🤬

  10. For the purpose of clarity, I will like to state that, there's a difference between a CURSE and a SPELL. One shouldn't mistake one for another. A curse only becomes effective when one by their action(s) brought it upon themselves.

A spell is an enchantment usually an evil mechanization of an enemy through a sorcerer. It can be placed on anyone even without any wrong done.

  11. Yea it will happen instantly or later because curse is an angel of destruction. So we should always be careful of our utterance

  15. In life, what you believe, works for you. Personally, I believe the only curse that can work on me, is that of my parents. Dazzol! And by the grace of God, nothing go make dem curse me sef....

    ReplyDelete
  16. No. People suffer the bad consequences of their actions not because they were course. For example a parent who thoroughly trained their children and later the child choose a bad way of life, he or she will suffer the bad consequences of the wrong way he chooses. While on the other hand the one who stick to a better way of life May not have to suffer any bad consequences. The prodical son did the father course him? Additionally, what we believe and how we handle difficult situation (s) in life Really matters.

  17. The bible says there is power in the tongue. Some people are also born with the gift of prophecy in which anything they say stands. but good news is that the bible also gave the innocent ones hope in the book of proverb 26vs 2 it says; ... an undeserved curse will not stand... If you are cursed and you know you are innocent, the best thing to do is to disconnect your life from that curse in prayers through the power in the name and blood o Jesus Christ.

  19. My dear yard people curses dey effective oo, I saw how it was and still is in d life of a distant uncle. This man was living in his father's house at apoint in his life and began to sleep with his father's young and beautiful wife, he didn't only sleep with her he also got her pregnant when his dad was on his sick death bed. This man got to know cos the pregnancy was growing and so he cursed both of them before dying. She gave birth to a baby boy whose whereabout is unknown even till now, and my distant relative suffered from all manner of calamities chief among them is poverty, near insanity, couldn't keep a home, the wives never stayed, they run away after a certain time, lost good jobs and opportunities after a certain time, suffers death of children, lives from hand to mouth and many more infact death refused even to come for him and the woman, I really can't remember what became of her. So you see we should be mindful of our actions here on earth.
