INSIDE THE MIND OF A WOMAN GOING THROUGH MOTHERHOOD

One Sunday a while back, I was at the church overflow and the overflow is usually filled with young mums, so they can take care of their toddlers without disturbing the church service.

On this day, I sat close to two other moms who had toddlers around a year plus and they were talking to the kids and getting responses back.

I looked at them so wistfully because my almost three year old had never even said mummy for once, he had said a few words and was so close to be being labelled non verbal if not that he had a thing for numbers and could recite them.

Barely a year later, this little boo boo has called mummy so much, sometimes I feel like screaming at him. Every time mummy this, mummy that but when I remember how much I wanted him to call me mummy I smile.

Sometimes, I snap and tell him to call his dad and I tell him “ me sef get mama".

LOL...... Someone who was TTC in now almost due and cannot stop complaining about how difficult she is finding the pregnancy and blah blah..... I thin women are naturally wired to complain.... How you see am?

 COMMENT FROM FRIDAY SPONTANEOUS POST

''Jeweluchi chocolate noir will contact Stella on Monday after her eviction. We for vote am as per bv..comments about it were seized by Stella, see that woman.. half of the things she said here she said them inside bbnaija. Madam blogger continue eating comments''

Hahahahahahahahhahahahha Please please let me correct you Jeweluchi Chocolate noir will never go on any TV show to contest for money.... I pray that she is OK, all her numbers are switched off and I am worried cos i know she was really sick . Please pray for her and stop assuming.

JUJU IN THE MARKET

. The in house gist on juju in the market place reminded me of a woman that I used to buy spices in mile 3 market. I preferred buying spices from her because her shop was always full with so many varieties of groceries and spices.

After some time, I noticed she stopped coming to market. Her neighbor that blends food items was the one helping her to sell as she couldn’t come to market.

One day, I was at the market and went to her shop, I was surprised to see her and after asking why she stopped coming to market, she said “Haaa, my sister, just help me thank God. I would have been dead if not for God. I came to market one morning and I saw blood splashed in front of my shop.

I didn’t want to read meaning into it so I just prayed and used water to clean the blood before opening my shop. That same day, I couldn’t walk again, they had to carry me from my shop back to my house. That’s how I stopped coming to market because I became very sick from that day. That I’m alive today is because God saved me. Different pastors told me that it’s one of my neighbors that did it because I have plenty customers.”

When she finished narrating, I was like was ehh !!! Juju in this small mile 3 market? Na wa.

Presently, I no longer see her at her shop. Her shop is open but nobody goes there to buy. I enquired from one of her neighbors why she stopped coming to market again and he said the woman became sick and was accusing people of being the cause of her illness. Her shop is now very scanty with just very few items.

OMG. she should not have gone back there to sell at all... Getting better doesnt mean you should go back, it means you should RUN!... I pray that she recovers.

    2. It depends, was the quarrel about her hygiene, or it was about something totally unrelated and you just brought it up to diminish, shame and shut her up like BBNs Sistah Sheggz?

Now imaging if she was arguing about finance and brought up your micro penis, your wack bed skills, your lack of emotional intelligence or sub par IQ? Totally unrelated. Would that be fair?

If you are a team, fight together. If you've done everything to help her improve her hygiene, and Aunty insists on ape like characteristics, let her go.

Her brothers arrived at their house one early morning and beat shege commot from the man's body. In great fear, the husband piss for body. They beat him for the past and flogged him into the future. Then they folded him like that roast fish they use to use stick to hold the head and the leg together and sell by the roadside.🀣🀣🀣🀣

SDK blog is addictive, you can't stay away except you are in a remote village where there is no light or internet connection.
I remember borrowing my hubby's phone to read the blog in those days when my Android phone packed up.

Even if you are heartbroken, like when I lost someone dear, I would still read it at least once in a day but may not be in the mood to comment.

  82. To the Chronicles lady of yesterday. My own advice is to tell her if you genuinely consider her your friend. Whether she considers you her friend will determine your response.
Let me give a very brief story. When I relocated to this state, I met a lovely young lady. She is a vendor selling female wares. I patronized her. Even though I could easily get the same items at a far better quality at places closer to me, I still made sure I patronized her frequently at least every month, while bonding over, gist, support, advice, etc. I just saw us as 2 young friendly single women trying to make a way in our individual businesses. So I thought.
So anyhow, at a point a fell seriously ill.
    Very very very ill.
One day she tried to reach out but I was so ill I couldn't even pick the phone. There was no other communication from her end. When I got better, I called and explained that I had been very ill at that time which is why had literally been incommunicado.
She commiserated with me. Communication after that dwindled, but once in a while I would WhatsApp hello, until a time when I became very infrequent on WhatsApp. I believe if someone genuinely wants to reach you, they won't wait for a whatsapp message to grow maggots in your inbox.
They have your number, they can call. Right?
Anyways, about a year later I was lazily strolling WhatsApp and clicked on her status. I saw her wedding pictures. I wished her well sincerely in my mind and kept strolling. Her status is always on but I never check. Sometime this year, aunty called out of the blue after about 3 years talmabout she lost her phone abi number wantin wantin whatever. And casually mentioned she had gotten married, even had her children etc etc. I wished her well. Talmabout when am I coming to her shop. Loll.
    Maybe someday after forever dahlim.πŸ™‚

To the Chronicles writer, if you cannot include a person in your good or bad times, to celebrate or mourn with you, the person is NOT a friend. The person is either a stranger or maybe acquaintance. A genuine person will celebrate with you, maybe feel a twinge of envy which is absolutely normal, and use you as a point of contact. If they cannot do that, wouldn't you rather know now, like I did?

*It's a different case if the person is a blabbermouth and you dont want the person to spread the news.
