Police PRO In Lagos Reacts To Video Of Woman Assaulting A Policeman

Benjamin Hundeyin, Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command has reacted to the viral video of a woman assaulting a policeman in the Festac area of Lagos. 1. I love how calm the police man stood in the face of provocation but I will still blame him for threatening to shoot her. It was very bad to threaten an unarmed civilian with a thing like shooting them. So I understand the woman reaction.

He said it. What about those ones who don't say it but shoot at will as people are chicken?

Pls the woman should be cautioned and not imprisoned.

  2. They're always threatening to shoot, especially when you refuse to part with something. I pray the woman gets a fair hearing.

  3. We've seen and heard so many cases of policemen shooting at innocent citizens for no just cause, this right here was a self-defense and a smart one at that. The lady should be compensated for the troubles.

  4. Everyone behaves anyhow in Nigeria. I know many officers out there are a disgrace but citizens should also respect them when on duty.

  5. One of sorosokeans and Endsars insurrectionists cum Obidients.
In the video, she said “Come Next year…. they will remove all of you” meaning come next year when her saviour PO wins, they'll remove all Nigerian leaders and security personnels. The audacity and ignorance to think that PO will immediately "reset" Nigeria after he wins. The kind of brainwash going on in Eastern Nigeria right now, it might take forever for some of them to recover. First it was Nnamdi Kanu, and Now PO. Kai 🤦‍♂️💁‍♂️😭

As for the woman, she needs to be held in kirikiri prison for the next 10 years as deterrent to others for assaulting a police officer. It's Endsars insurrection that gave people the audacity to be able to do this. Before the insurrection, nobody could try this nonsense. What they want is a lawless county like its happening now in SE and that will never happen!

    1. Na wa O!

You are entitled to your views, but is 10 years the statutory punishment for assaulting a police officer? Or you just want her severely punished because you believe she is from a particular tribe or support a particular political candidate?

    2. Before the "insurrection" as you term it, people stood up to police officers. Stop displaying delusions here.

  9. How will an armed police person threaten to shoot an unarmed individual?
    Why?
So that the person will grovel and beg before you as per god or what.
It's because he was caught on camera that's why he has quickly turned to statue of bribery. Mtshewwww.
Spineless coward. Na dia wey be dat.
If armed robber appear, they will dissolve like gas.
You provoke a person, then when the response is unexpected, you quickly turn it around so she will look like the guilty party.
All these hoodlums that they have drafted into the force, I hope she gets a fantastic lawyer who knows his or her onions. Anum pa ma.

  11. It’s an offence in itself to threaten anyone and also to assault anyone. They’re both wrong
