RE- STORY INSIDE IN HOUSE NEWS

Good DAY Stella,

I have been feeling so heavy and decided to relieve myself on the blog, I asked my daughter to open the blog for me (you know my eyes are not so good), and then I got to the In House News and read the story of the young girl that was pressured into pregnancy by her mom,  Stella you see that story, it so much related to me, I had a very similar experience while growing up,  as the first daughter

my mom made it a priority that I must help her in raising up my siblings,  and she didn't care so much about the things I did, she just wanted me to bring home something always,  I was taken to lagos and there I met my late husband, my mom never liked him cos he made me stop the jumping around to raise money for my mom, infact he closed my then okirika business cos that business takes me to Cotonou and  Togo steady

I never had savings nor did I have time for me, all I lived for,  was for my mom, but this man changed everything, Oh he changed my life so much,  he was everything I ever wanted and we shared a son, he was in the military but he died and that pushed me back to square one, I became homeless and helpless,  his family were not ready to help because of the tribe differences

Then I met my current husband  (a demon in human body),  at first he was nice,  would care for my son, he lied to me that he was visiting his friends in the North but this callous man was actually relocating out of Nigeria,  he moved to London and after like 3months, I found out I was about 4months pregnant with our daughter,  he later called and apologised which I forgave him, for those years he was abroad,  he never cared nor gave us a dime,  he only calls when he likes, he had problems and was deported, that was the beginning of my woes

We live in the same house and for almost 5years now we have neither talked nor have we had anything as husband and wife.

He ignored my Mom's burial,  all we do is quarrel about everything, I was so sick, I bled for months (heavy bleeding ooo), this man will act like he didn't see me, it's been from one mysterious sickness to the other, I spend more at hospitals than i spend on my feeding,  I did nothing to deserve this from this man, I was there for him, I was faithful and still faithful.

He always tells me that I will leave his house as a corpse, I don't have anywhere to go because I have not worked in years, all thanks to cataract that has left my eyes bad, I don't even know how we survive,  I'm practically leaving my burdens on my two kids and I feel so bad about it, it's as if history is repeating itself,  my son has moved out of the house a very long time ago,  as for my daughter.

I almost drove her to her death cos she was finding solace in the arms of an abuser, because her mom was always busy quarrelling and fighting with her dad and never had time for my daughter,  my daughter aborted twice in the space of two months under my roof, thank God she confided her pain to a dear friend who called my attention to it (and to think that I was busy treating her malaria), not knowing that somebody was taking advantage of my little girl,  I have chosen peace,  I have made peace with myself and my kids.

I still don't have money to start a business or move out, but my ears are wide open to listen to my kids, my arms are open to hug them at all times, my girl is in the university now,  thanks to her brother,  and I have built a strong relationship with her and we can now gist about everything,  and she's growing into a very beautiful young woman, parents should do more to listen to this kids, they need us, especially the girls.

As for whoever that posted that story, God bless you:

Stella your blog is something more than a blog, thank you for all you do...

 God bless you all:

Hmmm sad story but the future looks Bright, thank God you have kids to look out for you.. Some people dont...May God continue to give your son the strength to look after you... God bless you right back

BLOG VISITOR GIST

I went to visit a relative some years ago, from their house I went to buy akara one morning, while I was waiting, a girl ( let me call her joy, I don't know her name) passed in front of her shop and they started discussing about her, her marriage and the role of her parents in the marriage. I kept quiet all this while, then I brought the akara and left, when I reached home I asked my relative and they told me the story but not so clear.

After some years i travelled again, another relative of mine invited me to a church and inside the church, i saw joy again, this time she was married and I also saw a former school mate and her family. It happens that Joy and her family are very close to this my relative and she was a class mate to my friend's cousin that is living with them.

Joy's story

Joy was 14 years old as at the time this thing happened, she was still in secondary School. A rich guy from abroad came to marry her and her family accepted immediately because the guy promised them heaven and earth but church refused to accept the marriage , her family is Catholics because of this they stopped attending church in that parish.

The guy paid joy's bride price, he rented a flat for himself and her. She became pregnant immediately and gave birth to a very handsome boy, then the guy started coming back home later at night drunk. When joy gave birth her mother came immediately, so the late night happened in front of her and she did not do anything about it.

They always argued over little things and he will slap her. This circle continued until one day he came home late and was drunk, he beat her and her mother join he beat all of them and took the baby from them and disappeared, and more than 5 year now he is nowhere to be found.

When she and her mother waited for him to return and they didn't see him, they left the flat like that and they did not pick anything from there even their clothes.

When joy and her family started investigating, they found out that the guy is married and childless and none of his family members want to get involved in this mess and so joy and her family are helpless and they moved on.

After this incident joy became a shadow of herself and started behaving like someone that has mental problem. After sometime she was just crossing a road when another guy saw her and followed her home without her knowing. This guy came to their house that he want to marry their daughter, all this while her elder sister is still single, so their parents thought that it was the elder one, so they called her but he told them that this is not the girl that he wanted to marry, so they told him that they don't have another daughter. He went and investigated about joy and came back that it is joy that he wanted to marry but her parents refused, he keep going back there, so they opened up to him about Joy's past, he still insisted on marrying her, so they allowed him marry her.

He married her and immediately, she become pregnant and gave birth to a very beautiful girl. She was behaving like a mad woman, watching her, her husband and her daughter you will know that she needed to undergo a therapy session.

Before she got married the shame was too much, so her parents had to park out of their area to a new area.

I ask my relative to tell her mother to take her to see a therapist ...
My relative told me that Joy's mother told her that Joy is fine, after all she married and started giving birth before she reached 18 years, so it is not new thing in their village in Enugu state.
I minded my business and I prayed for her in my mind. Things are happening in Nigeria.

Joy is very fair like white with black eyes, very slim with flat tummy even after two kids and she is very beautiful. She looks so much like her mother, her mother have a very strong Gene. All her children are very light skinned..

Before the man married her, he used to drop her in school with one of his jeep. She was the envy of her classmates, so when the man took her baby, you can imagine the shame from her former classmates, her neighbors and she did not finish her secondary School because of her first marriage.

During the time the man wanted to marry her and after her failed marriage she was the talk of town, if she passes gossip will start. The shame was too much that they have to move out.

Her baby was not up to 3 months when this man took him away from her and up until now she has not seen or heard from her child.

What a sad story.... Does she not know where the man is to go and get her kid? Why didnt her parents do anything about it? All they cared about was just giving her out like that?..I pray that she heals where ever she is.....

WOMEN Read This...

-. The wife that wins all arguments with her husband is not wise. The home is not a law court.

-. The wife that uses s#x as a weapon in the home - placing embargo, going to bed in jeans shorts and trousers  lacks wisdom.

-. The wife that uses the modern trends and laws of "women's rights" to insult or ridicule her husband simply makes a fool of herself.

-. A woman that makes her home devoid of peace through bickering, nagging and quarrels needs help. A man should be eager to run away from office to be at home, for that should be the safest and coziest place on earth for him.

-. Modern-day equality in marriage does not mean competition. It simply means partnership. Taking advantage of such equality to turn around and become the de facto head of the home and oppress the man is tantamount to playing with fire. If you destroy your home, soon you will be the boss of an empty home.

-. A wise wife makes the man feel so good that he assumes that he is the head. Once he gets that feeling, the woman gently wields her power and the head actually turns to wherever the neck wants without a protest.

-. A wife that does not pull herself away from friends' influence and advice or even from the control of her mother and father will have herself to blame.

-. When a man is looking for a wife, he bypasses women of different shapes and sizes to choose a wife. But soon after childbirth, many women hide under the excuse of childbirth to let go of themselves. Many stop bothering about their looks, shape, dressing, etc. Within 5 years of marriage, people start wondering if the wife is the man's aunt, even though she is 7 years younger. Her defense is that if he truly loves her he should love her the way she is. But when looking for a wife, he saw people like the present YOU and ignored them and settled for the former YOU. Today, you go to bed smelling of onions and ogiri.

You go to bed wearing grandmothers' clothes. Why Play with your marriage?

  2. 2 months ago, an emergency CS was performed on my friend's wife here in Kano. Sadly, we lost her. 🥲
Last Saturday, another friend of mine lost his wife to childbirth. Her's was vaginal birth, but she bled afterwards.🥲
In both cases, the babies survived. Sadly, both marriages were not even up to a year. Sad ish! When some of us pray repeatedly for pregnant women, we sound like broken records. However, we won't stop.
Dear Pregnant Woman, may your joy NEVER be cut short. You will birth your baby, and you all will leave the hospital, hale and hearty in Jesus mighty name. God please, protect our pregnant women. 🙏

This is sad. Mortality rate during child birth is still very high in this part of the world. CS o, Vaginal birth o, it is by the grace of God that everything goes smoothly, there is no strong woman anywhere like some do say.

  4. Taking a risk in life sometimes isn't a wrong thing to do but then, there's a risk one shouldn't even contemplate upon in life, let alone venturing into.
I watched a video where a young African man, an illegal immigrant about entering Europe (Italy) from Libya through sea.

Earlier, he had posted a video asking for prayers as they were about to sojourn. Some minutes later, he made another video but this time, showing the mighty river they are going to sail through.

Do you know what he said?

"God forbid I enter this sea. I no fit ever try am at all for this life. Abi I want die? Cos of Europe."

Fear entered him mere seeing just the beginning of the River. What could he have said or done if they had gotten to the Mediterranean sea? The very point a good number of people lost it all in life and their corpse were never seen all cos of greener pastures.

But then, how Green is the pasture over there?

Some people who had succeeded in crossing that sea, said it took them four whole days to cross it. Now you can imagine the cold, turbulence and fear of being chased by the immigration forces.

    What a deadly risk!!!

I had a friend whom I lost last year in the cold hands of death. He should be in his 50's and was among those who had traveled earlier during the 90's to Libya inorder to get into Spain . They spent months in Libya before attempting to get into Spain through Morocco It was at that point they were intercepted and deported back to Nigeria.

According to his narration, a good number of them died on their walk in the desert. It was a terrible experience. At a point they began drinking urine when they ran out of water.

When they came to Nigeria been deported, money given to them were cornered by government agents at the airport who received them.

He never got himself in life again till he finally passed on last year. He never got rehabilitated. I guess the shock and trauma never left him.

Some things people go through in life inorder to better their lives and at the end of it all, we will be gone someday, leaving behind all we have lanoured and acquired.

Life! A journey of an incomplete voyage...

  19. I agree with every piece of advice for women but you see that last one ehn, e get k leg abeg. Not saying women should be lazy about their appearance but men need to know that pregnancy and child birth changes a woman's body 99 percent of the time. Our mothers' bodies didn't remain the same way they did while they were spinsters. No man should make a woman feel less of herself because of something she can do nothing about abeg.

The two stories are sad. @the first poster, may God come through for you so you leave that man and stay healthy for your kids. Only God knows what he is doing that is making you sick. As for Joy, God will heal her.

  40. All these evil parents, God will judge you all. Who gives out a teenager in marriage?
I pray the girl recovers fully. The events that happened to her in that unlawful marriage affected her mentally.
Bv with the evil husband. God will rescue you. He will keep you and keep your children. He will heal you.
