  1. Today, I was drenched in tears in my office listening to a family problem.
3 siblings in their 20s were directed to see me.Hoping to get solutions.Their mother works with us, so is their father in different depts. The mother first got employed as cleaner and she made the husband to get employed too.

They told me they have not seen their father who abandoned 5 of them16 years now, no school fees, no calls, no upkeep/chop money, only their mother. They are suffering whereas the father is a senior staff and earns good salary.

Shortly, their mother joined them in my office and narrated how they met & married as she went through alot to sustain the family while he went to school. Immediately he got the job he abandoned them and moved out of the house they jointly built.
The woman wept as she was narrating her ordeal. The children were crying too and i was in tears also as I have similar experience.Today they want to reap where they never sowed.
All they want is for their father to give them school fees, pick their calls. The most senior is 38 &married according to them. Now a man with 38-year old daughter and youngest child is 20 is still working when retirement age is 60? The wife is retiring next year. I quickly went through the staff records and saw he put 1971as date of birth. Wow!
After listening to all, I collected number and called him to report in my office, he works in my dept and i am his boss. He raced down and i saw an aging man, dyed his hair black. He did not deny he moved out of the house over irreconcilable differences. He told me everything.More of spiritual
I made him sign that he will be sending money to his children as they will cover him tomorrow. He agreed. He has their account nos. I hope he does as I threatened to transfer him to Maiduguri if he fails. I told him to start by calling them 1 by 1 He promised!
I felt relieve.I did not ask for reconciliation with his wife sha. I will ask her on Monday if he called the children.
    Some marriages sha!

  3. I thank God for showing up for me.
So on Wednesday I went to my shop and as a was bringing out my shoes I noticed some things falling off, I said maybe it's from the shoe pad. It was later I noticed one of my shoes was torn and was so suprised. I asked my Neighbour what could have torn this shoe like this he said its rat. Haaaa rat? From where?

Later that day a customer came and when she was selecting shoes she noticed another shoe and she told me that rat has eaten it again.
She started telling of how it has happened to her too. That it's not a good thing.

I closed for the day and made sure I closed the bag I used to pack my goods very well. The next day I went with olive oil and blessed salt, prayed in my shop and sprinkled them around the whole place. When I opened my goods I started seeing shoes that were eaten by this rat again. It has condemned up to 5 of my shoes. I asked myself where did this rat enter from again? There was no tear on the sack and I made sure I closed the sack very well.
At the close of the day I did serious prayer before I left. I also did serious midnight prayers begging God not to let this happen again.

I'm thanking God that this morning when I opened my Goods everything was intact, the rat didn't eat anything again. God has given me victory and it is parmament in my life.

Let somebody's son find me. I am tired of single life. I was supposed to fly out but by return was fully booked, no seat from London in my preferred airline , so I decided to stay put so not to get into trouble with office Management.
I can't joke with my source of living in the absence of husband ooo
Spent my Friday evening preparing pepper stew. Had lots of chicken and fresh fish. Trying to spoil myself as nobody to spoil me. I have assorted bottles of wine I hope to treat myself this Christmas.

  8. Today my mechanic took my car to go check out something I complained of. Without telling me what the problem is. I thought it was shock absorber, he later said its steering rack after he fixed the car. He wasted my time so much
In the office waiting to get back my car since morning.
I found my way home, only for him to bring the car now to drop in my house and charged me 30k. Whaaaat! Who knows anything about steering rack for Toyota corola 2015?
Mechanics will not make heaven. For what now???, for just small thing i complained about? I gave him 20k, he is arguing with me that if it was another person his workmanship alone would have been the 20k. That the steering rack alone is 15 to fix. Making it 35k. So where is the 20k extra coming from if fixing is 15k. I dongerrit!
Anyway will transfer 5k more to him. And that's it. Not sure to go back to him. He had earlier taken 10k from me just to replace the horn.
This is my Friday night rant!

    1. You should see what what was changed from the car. Demand for the old parts he said he changed and watch his attitude and countenance change. He probably did not do much. Mechanics are the biggest liars in the artisan industry. Brace up for another thing to be changed in the nearest future.

Some mechanic are not to be trusted, when I buy my own car I will have to pray, fast to seel the face of God on who I should use as my mechanic cos those people are terrible.

If you have a trusted male friend let the person help you out with the pricing or with the mechanic.

  16. I am begining to hate my estate cause of the happenings and the management. Unfortunately I can't readily move out like others. Bought my house 5 years ago. Very lovely house that cost me all my life savings. As of when i moved in, I met Very responsible people and my visitors really envied me but over time they began to sell off their houses, some renting. Very few of us are owners --occupiers. Now I am stocked and i dont have enough money to relocate.
I am really tired being here. It's very safe and serene though but things have changed, the Exco are nonchalant about maintenance. Sometimes the slap gets broken, they just ignore, but they have increased utilities / estate bill from January. Most tenants are even owning and now you are increasing.
I was paying at a stretch a to cover the year, with this increase I will be doing monthly. They were making use of the advance payment since many are always owing. I am not in talking terms with the present Exco until their tenure is over. Hence will only be paying bit by bit. No more advance payment. Adron houses are fine and affordable but i dont like their locations

  20. Na WA for this our country oo. Man bought acres of land since like 30 to 35years ago handed over the original documents of the land to his side chick. This man is already dead a long time ago now the side chick knowing she can't fight this battle alone called the children of this man together to go and claim the landed property, where as the land had already been re-sold to another people by omo onile. This is about 30acres of land In a developed area in Ikorodu. Chai I pity my friend that has a shop in the area. They came today with full force telling the people that has shops and houses there to vacate the place with immediate effect, scattered everywhere destroying people's things πŸ˜₯ It was no a funny thing at all.
